  1. Erik, Great trip report so far! The Old Mill was an interesting ride but seemed to have way too much dead space. I kept thinking something would happen in some of those dark, long corridors, but you would just go on to another scene. It was a pleasure to meet you, wish you could of stuck around longer.
  2. #100 - Batman: The Dark Knight at Six Flags New England #150 - Rollies Coaster at Morey's Pier.
  3. I thought Hersheypark was pretty good, but I was really hitting one of those TPR trip "walls" on that day. We had a 16 hour day at the park with bookend ERT sessions which were both great. Evening ERT on Lightning Racer ended up being one of the top moments for me on the trip. Overall, the park seemed to be very crowded and really became the first real day of having to wait for long queues on the entire East Coast Trip. (Which is amazing since it was Day 9!)
  4. Pretty sure "Fishy Fishy Fish" is a Monty Python reference.
  5. Some of the choices for Titletown have just been flat out ridiculous! Palo Alto?!! Valdosta?!! IMO, this is just something that ESPN is doing to fill out the summer. I really wish that they would have a gone for a little bit more for quality in their choices. Even I have to agree that Knoxville was not a quality choice for Titletown. If you take out the Lady Vols, we have one NC in a major sport in my generation. They even used Peyton Manning as a supporting evidence.
  6. Is there a roller coaster called Oliver Twist(er)? Okay, I'm done.
  7. I agree with this opinion. Mystery Mine is just a fun ride with excellent theming. Great TR so far! Looking forward to the rest. Oh, and I think Tyler is on the other bus, but I can't imagine that anyone on the tour would play any pranks on him while he is sleeping.
  8. ^The park closes at 11 P.M. We will then have ERT on Lightning Racer and Wildcat until 12:00 A.M.
  9. Wrigley Field is my favorite ballpark and I only got to see 3 outs of baseball. (Rain delay/postponement) That is really a testament to how awesome this park is. We just walked around the stadium, taking in the atmosphere, and had two or three hot dogs. The hot dogs are the best ones I have had at any sporting event. My runner-ups would be Turner Field and the Ballpark at Arlington. I went to the latter when it first opened, so it may not be that great now. I really need to get out to some more ball parks.
  10. The Blu-Ray player doesn't really appeal to me because I do not have 1080P. I am sure it would look better than the DVDs I am playing through my XBox, but I probably wouldn't notice enough difference to justify getting a P3. So, taking that out, it comes down to the games. P3 is definitely catching up with XBox 360 in this department, but at the time I was in the market of buying a next-gen system, Xbox 360 just had a more appealing line-up.
  11. Firefox is working fine on our Mac now. On Safari, the windows are still cutting off the bottom of the text. I just copied jjeerr photo, because we are having the same problem.
  12. Wow, looks like the park made some interesting choices to start off with. Where it looks like there was a lot of thought put into certain parts of the park, you get the kiddie area that seems to just be an afterthought. Also, the Nights in White Satin...are you kidding me?!? I'm scratching my head on that choice for one of the original rides.
  13. Guilty! It takes a lot of work to try and do a photo TR with the pictures in reverse order as well.
  14. On the picture with the pet store in it, all I could see in my head was Pee Wee Herman running out of it carrying a bunch of snakes while screaming. "This man is a hero!" "This man is under arrest!"
  15. What you do not know is that there is a large ninja population that hideout in the Smoky Mountains and lets face it, ninjas love to bargain shop. Seriously, I have no clue while there are so many of those stores. You don't hear a lot about crimes associated with throwing stars or numchucks on the local news here, so I don't know who is supporting these businesses.
  16. Is femullets the correct nomenclature, Walter? We were leaning toward "Shmullet (She-mullet)," but I'd like to be politically correct, of course. And to answer your question...yes, the pic before Blazing Fury, and the "Bonus Shot" are both of the same "woman." We had an email go around work a while back that uses Femulletes. Perhaps, you are out of your element, Donny? Oh, and I missed that woman. I guess the purple in the shoes should have helped me out. Looks like you have the full gamut of mullets in this TR then.
  17. Great TR. Glad to hear there is a lot of expansion room along Wilderness Path. I held off getting a season pass this year because River Battle really doesn't excite me much, but I can't wait to see what they put back there in the next couple of years. Looks like Mulletland didn't disappoint! Any Femullets? (Female mullets)
  18. Gatlinburg is just a few miles from Pigeon Forge. Gatlinburg does have a ton of fudge and pancakes. But don't forget about the ninja stores. If you are a ninja and you need to gear up quickly while bargain shopping, Gatlinburg is the place for you!
  19. I was pretty shocked to see Locke in the coffin. I thought Ben was awesome in this episode! I love the scene with him and Locke down in the Orchard. It was definitely a better finale than last season for me. I still want to find out who Jacob is!
  20. ^I believe the first time we saw Richard was when he was recruiting Juliet to the island. He was basically the recruiter for the island. He also shows up in the Ben flashback episode as one of the original "others". At the end of last season, he was leading the other group of "others" to the temple. I really want to find out more about Jacob, but I am afraid they are just going to drag it out until the season is over like they usually do. I really hope Jacob is an actual person (which the producers have promised he is) and not just a title for the leader of the island. I did like it when the guy told the Doctor that the message on the satellite phone said that they found a doctor with his throat slashed. Doctor: "But I am the doctor?" A few more things I noticed this week: -It appears that the others have been interested in researching "special" children for a long time now. It appears that Locke, Ben, and Walt have all been sought out and studied. -Is Claire dead? She sure seemed calm about not having Aaron anymore. She was almost as obsessive about Aaron as Michael was about Walt. (If that is even possible!)
  21. Those are Roller Racers! We didn't have them in gym class, but my neighbors across the street had them. I think they even had those at Opryland back in the 80's. There was a little gated-off section where you could ram into each other with them.
  22. Well, all the Jack and Kate shippers can rejoice now. I really wish they would quit mentioning Jacob one episode, and then the next has no mention of him. In the preview for next week, who is the guy that tells Locke he has been dead for several years? Was that the guys who was in the first Ben flashback?
