The kids under water section was a nice area to go to and relax for a little while (and also hide for the heat) Hotel MiraCosta.. Amazing place and i'm glad i stayed there for a few nights. Still a song that gets stuck in your head but a way better ride. Tower.. owh my.. loved the story, loved the theming.. should have spent more time in the area for pictures of all the details there.. pre show was good as well.. just wished the drops would be a bit more forceful.. Volcano.. it's got fire and fire = good But don't worry.. there will be more updates still to come in future updates are the "kids" area, raging spirit, hotel, random park pictures, night pictures and the big show.. ok, first up Sindbad entrance area who turned of the lights? i guess this is the short version of the story angry monkeys?? getting ready to be boarded just cruising bird and egg go catch them how's it going?? 10. Ok, i guess it's time for the final part of my Japan trip and it's updates. Tokyo Disney. I'm going to try something new (for me).. do my updates based on attractions/area's/shows in the park. I managed to do 3 visits to the park while being in Japan. A few hours at the start, 3 days in the middle and 2 days at the end (before flying home) I guess you can imagine the amount of pictures i have from these visits.. Anyway let's get this started. First up my favorite park at this time: DisneySea Here's a few pictures that will be all about Journey, 20.000 leagues and the Mysterious Island area where these are located. I do hope you enjoy them and comment on these. let's start with Journey get here quick or you might be looking at long lines let's have a look at the queue area paintings along the wall machine plan pleny of things to look at getting ready for the elevators our gateway to... and there's plenty of them quick peak inside hmm, light effects ok, here's something different.. fog i guess this is a better image hmm, this looks interesting... queue area, in the top left you can see the fog gate i posted earlier getting closer to boarding the ride the awesome vehicles ok, total fail and yet this gives you an idea of all the colors you get to see (check robb's onride for more details) ehm.. what's that?? Lava monster this has got to be one of the most amazing animatronics i've seen to date bye bye and then you get blasted away at high speed.. through the fog.. if you are quick you can look at the park while enjoying some airtime even the exit staircase area is themed true ok, here's a look at the Mysterious Island area drilling machine in the hill from across the water, and yes.. the volcano does work drilling machine from a lower point playing with shutter time.. looking back from the waterfall back inside to give you a Journey vehicle enjoying the airtime getting close to blowing i'm pretty sure i'll spot new details once i get back another look at the drilling machine a bit of sunshine can make a huge difference.. and yes. there is a awesome restaurant under those arches you can walk all the way around if you want to Journey vehicle on the bridge and then.. from the other side.. you can hardly see it anymore back inside, for just one more dril machine image and one more Journey vehicle in the same area you can also find this ride more awesome queue area theming big balls lovely suits there's a map, would it help? the theming just does not stop another map owh wait.. we're diving?? if you are lucky this could be the queue for you (empty) ride vehicle here's the same vehicle hanging around outside and then it's warp speed time what's that?? aaarrgghhh
  11. Day 6: Nasu Highland Final day of the Tokyo trip. It was a nice busdrive to get to the park and i can only imagine how the place will look in the winter (oh wait.. there's a video of that.. nevermind) Anyway, fun place to go to, bunch of nice coasters and an SLC.. Pictures are in no particular order as i walked a gazillion laps through this park. entrance area ok, time to take a little walk to.. coasters this does look pretty caroussel ride ok, that's intresting.. 16. Day 5: Cosmoworld and Sea Paradise Another 2 park visit. Cosmoworld was awesome. rom the welcoming sign to the park itself and it's location. All the random stuff that could be done there made it a great visit. Sea Paradise was a short visit for me, got the credit.. rode Blue Fall (thanks Robb) and left (had to do some other things ) Just one more stop after this (Nasu Highland) and then it's time to try and recap 2 Disney visits.. 3 days during the trip and some bonus time after the trip.. but more on that later. First it's time to enjoy Cosmoworld and Sea Paradise. Don't forget to post comments another train station credit owh, landmark building i guess that's where we are going to another look at this building looks like the park is ready for us. I can see a coaster testing what the heck is that? getting closer this is so freaking awesome. 18. The plan for Day 4 was to hit 2 parks... Toshimaen and Seibuen Here's the result I did not take many pictures here but did have a great time at both parks. Something totally different compared to the bigger parks. And yes.. i somehow managed to also get on the powered coaster at Seibuen. Rain or Shine.. coasters and friends present a great time First stop.. Toshimaen Park map might be handy just taking a nice relaxing walk. No rush wait.. german?? ehm.. interesting structure there it goes.. hill and green, while being blue.. you still get it? 19. Day 3 (Part 2) : Hanayashiki After an awesome time at Tobu Zoo we made the journey to a small park called Hanayashiki. Never heard of this place (as so many places in Japan (woops)) but had an awesome time here. Bit of rain helped with the temperature for a while and as you might have seen in Robb's update it was a fine example of the Energy of a TPR trip at this park. Marathoning the coaster there was just awesome. Anyway, i tried to capture the fun and energy so here's a bunch of pictures enjoy and feel free to comment. First look inside the park that looks pretty darn big hmm pretty how's it going?? so many things to look at it fits wassup? for the nerds if i remember correctly there was some sort of tunnel of love in there? Roller Coaster (aka credit time) yeah, it was raining pretty good by now hmm, have to remember this spot for later looked interesting guess what?? looks like the sun is back yeah let's ride row row row not sure what's happening here sunshine that's a big big tower aaahhh this look remind me of 08 europe trip (colossus) go look it up K'O ?? plenty of space yeah they are back don't stop guys, keep on rowing going down tried to hide to camera.. guess i failed.. duck basically an overview of the park chilling while going up.. (lap 15?) drop fun take the tunnel bug still plenty of space hmm, that tower has to be tall with those clouds just to give you an idea of how big it is and they are still going surprise hit and awesome place to visit. Thank you TPR energy group photo time for a walk don't have a clue what this was.. byt it looked interesting for some reason this screamed (a bit) Japan to me.. yeah don't go.. there's more

  21. We usually like to start a "park discussion" thread when there is actually something to discuss or if someone volunteers to bring "regular updates" from the park to the site. Starting a thread for the sake of starting it isn't something we want to make a habit of. When Michigan's Adventure makes an announcement or something like that perhaps we can open up a thread for the park. Locked for now.
  22. I think it was the airtime Looking forward to his reaction Thanks
  23. Day 3 (Part 1): Tobu Zoo Tobu Zoo (and Kawasemi) were some of the few names that rang a bell before heading to Japan. So i was really looking forward to this day (especially after riding (and loving) a bunch of the other Mega-lite's in the world) This was an awesome visit to an awesome park. My only "regret"... i spent too much time taking pictures of Kawasemi instead of riding it. Guess i'll have to go back to marathon it. It was running pretty darn good early in the morning and you could see it getting quicker an quicker during the day. Quicker = more airtime and this one really does deliver. The following is a bunch of pictures from that day including a lot of Kawasemi pictures. Awesomeness deserves a lot of pictures. Enjoy Guess we're heading that way hmm, i see something in the distance please cover up first look inside the park that woodie looks like fun.. hmm, it's yellow another wheel... park mascot (i think) ok, let's get this day started.. pretty yummie One of the first trains ok, time to check out some other angles pretty sky the park is open but it's still almot like ERT transition looks like they are almost at the top going down how's it going back row? checking the underside did somebody say airtime?? Regina.. woodie Regina not the best picture framing by myself.. ehm... pretty lights bright colors these are always fun ok, time for some Larry pictures.. every update shoulld have some i guess.. feeling sleepy.. yeah.. he's gone bye bye Larry hmm, that does look prett big..
