  1. I just wanna say big Thanks to R&E for making the Mini Europe trip one Excellent trip. Here's just one of the many pictures i've taken. The rest will follow sometime later. Just one shot..
  2. When i win the lottery, or the money tree finally starts growing in my garden.. i'll join every trip with you guys. So at the moment i'll have to make choices.... Counting my money.....
  3. part 2. This is indeed a family park. Not big and lot's and lot's of small things in a small area.. The sun, kids and water.. it's always fun Food time spinning thing. this used to be an open field the last time i was here.. small boat splash This was (as far as i could see) the ride with the biggest wet factor Wild waterval ( i guess you call it a logflume?) and it's clean water And plenty of water With flowers It's just a little family park I'm just glad he doesn't sit on me. Boat ride Here they are building the "new" stunt show which will start in 2 weeks You might even get wet in this one. Sometimes it's better to have some kind of theming instead of none
  4. This year Walibi changed it's Season pass. It includes (this year) visits to Hellendoorn and Dolfinarium. It's been a long time since my last visit to Hellendoorn, so today it was time for another try. The weather forecast was bad for today.. so i planned to get there early. Just in case.... Yes i made it this morning Rioolrat even goes outside for a brief moment.. Play area for the kid and a house.. Even the exit is themed... How much courage do you need to get onboard? Entrance theming seen from below Last coaster of the park.. Rioolrat. Here's the exit for all the "chickens" Looking at these arms the future looks bright View from the ride with a bunch of coaster "lovers" onboard Next up the kiddie called "Donderstenen". Just look at this kids face I hope they clean this one someday... Loop shot against the sun with a tree and lifthill... More happy faces.. and yes.. it's a Vekoma (and this one is not too bad for your ears) It even has a loop... First up.. Tornado. Just look at all those happy faces...
  5. that sounds excellent.. I guess i'll have to change my planning for the next couple of weeks... i cannot wait anymore to ride this beauty
  6. Looks like some work is done at the moment.... do i see a crane?
  7. Last pics. Robin Hood. A nice woody but i cannot wait for Troy to be finished at Toverland. There used to be some kind of stunt show at that place ( i have not seen it for a couple of years) But that's closed this year. I guess they will put something back.. but what? Goliath.. For me the best coaster (at the moment) in the Netherlands. Front row and this part make it fun. Excalibur. I just wish they would use the water a bit more and soak the folks during the ride... High and far away. it was just a little bit windy at the top... Yep, this was Goliath. For some reason El Condor was closed today. And it would not reopen during the day. Looks like there are some "big" problems at the moment for this coaster. Yes, you can get wet in this one. And last but not least there is Xpress. It surprised me today since it was the only coaster without waiting time. Normally it's crowded but today i was lucky. And yes, he is still here. Hope you enjoyed the pics.
  8. Part 2: Despite the lovely sun it was still chilly and not too many kids were playing with water. I just love this mouse. Especially in the back seat it's a nice test for your stomach. True words.. This log flume has not changed a bit the last years. Still big lines and long waiting times. All of this for a ride..... Lucky splash shot. Looks like they did something to the splash since it was not as wet as it used to be. Remember this dude? I just loved the movie you guys made a couple of years ago. Sunshine and some wind. I'm afraid of heights.. from the ferris wheel you see things from a different angle. Nice castle.. but the ride.. i've seen it enough and i'm not interested anymore. more to come.
  9. In the past it was always very quiet on this day of the year at the park. Apparently time's change and there were plenty of people today. Enough said. time for some pics. Wind and sunshine do present some nice photo moments. Hi everyone, look at my ... It is time for a "special" tribute. In a couple of days this ride will be closed and removed from the parc. Another coaster will come (according to a nice lady) but this will take a "little" while. Officially nothing is told yet to the fans. So today was the moment to try to make some different pictures. Everybody is still smiling at this moment. Bye bye, i'm not gonna miss this ride. Time for a headache. I cannot remember the last time i rode this one.. so what the heck. Today was the day to revisit this friend. Including some nice onboard entertainment. These guys did everything to get a smile on a kids face. Just look at the kid in front of them. He's not noticing the ride, just looking at them.. Plenty of time to try to take some nice onboard pics since we got 6 laps today. more to come..
  10. The winja's are named Force and Fear.. and that's the difference indeed.. One ride is a bit more forceful (and shorter) and the fear is longer and has more spinning in it.. It's just a different experience to both tracks..
  11. Just some more pictures. Just to give you guys an idea of how crowded it was today.. Despite all the people in the park it is still possible to find a place to chill and relax a little when you need it. But remember.. just a little walk.. and you can see and ride the coasters again. I was a split second too late.. but hey.. what the heck.. it's still a picture. And the last one of the selection. Why does someone ride a coaster with one arm out? Regarding Black Mamba.. the line increased quickly to 2 hours.. But hey.. a quickpass.. is nice in that case.. 4 front row rides for just 15 euro's Not bad (i think) So i used it. Black Mamba or Nemesis?? At this moment i do prefer nemesis. This might be caused by the fact that the memories are not correct after a couple of months. But it's a close call. Big benefit for this one is that it's closer to home. Hope you liked the pictures. I had a great time and can't wait to ride some coasters on the other side of the Ocean.
  12. Today was the day of my first visit to Phantasialand. Black Mamba was the name to visit. Especially after riding Nemesis last year at Alton Towers. Here a small selection of the pitures i made and the corresponding story. This morning at 9 am i arrived at the park and did a quick wandering so see what it was like and what was where.. The low sun and some water/mit thing created some nice picture moments. The theming looked lovely, it was just a shame that the paint was coming loose at some points and some of the ornaments looked like could fall any moment.. I just love this coaster. Winja' Fear and Force. 2 different rides with a totally different experience. But doing it indoors makes it more fun (to me) Black Mamba... since the que was more then an hour at that moment i decided to continue the walk throughout the park Which to me means (most of the time) take more pictures. I just love it when you can see the expression on the people's faces as they enjoy a ride. Oh yeah.. and they did have plastic bags.. Another fun ride. Especially when riding it in the very back of the train. Just an attempt to make some kind of funny picture. Did not work totally as planned. River Quest was in a bad mood. Did not work all day. It might have been my opinion.. but the crowds were big enough for me
  13. First reaction from me would be that it looks great... i'd love to go and sit down and just watch this movie... Only "issue" is that i'm living in Europe (netherlands) so i guess i'll have to wait a little longer untill i can see it Sometimes i believe i live in the "wrong" part of the world i do know that my "little" brother (Transformer Fan) is looking forward to this movie...
  14. Hello everybody, I'm Hanno from The Netherlands, Adrenaline Junkie and after visiting 3 parks (blackpool, alton towers and Thorpe) in the UK in October this year i'm convinced that i need more coasters in my life. Plan for next year is to go to the US and visit some parks there. For the rest... i'm usually more of a reader the a speaker... Keep up the good work and maybe we will meet someday in the future.
