    Day 10: Kennywood A nice park, not too big but with some awesome rides. have fun looking at this selection. One more day and 2 more parks to go I might do a special update with all kinds of "nasty" or posed photo's i have from a bunch of the participants... all depends on time and requests Best part of the ride?? screamers more random people fly like an eagle? good to know or joy?? more hairtime in the back fear?? 2 train operating airtime yes lucky shot? why did i take this picture? Jahan is having fun i love hairtime that was only the beginning (attaching now to the lift chain) Thunderbolt fear? random people everybody trying to get the best footage boats back again to the kids area of the park ( i walked a "lot" that day) sometimes it's in the details wanna get soaked? first drop fun more random people aha ehmm.. food more walking around.. don't forget to check this one out if you are there.. Jack Rabbit.. TPR take over? another way to walk around all day i totally loved the atmosphere at this park credit whoring.. oeps.. more water then expected? where did those children go? it was hot.. and i wanted to cool down nice to cool down a little (indoors) and the first one to get me spinning during this trip (fun) plenty of water another angle splash i guess plenty of forces here.. different angle.. more airtime i love it remember water? or should we call it hairtime? airtime i guess?? (check the wheels of the trains) playing in the station... Looks like it was a nice ride First train going up that day tired of waiting i checked out the exit to see some people working on the ride (trains) and to see this nice little device owh.. ok patience.. see? sometimes waiting is not that bad... while waiting in line there was some time to play around taking photo's what is going on there?? that's something for another topic.. might be an interesting discussion though today.. i had something with water.. was it the heat or?? i guess everybody has the same photo??? the bigger person should step in first... laterals we love ERT to wake up with partner??? the picture everybody has here they come (again) Just in case you forgot where we are owh my, my camera is on tape speaks for itself hmm, green is in a hurry racer fun the sun was shining nice really? Photo finish wave at all the camera's the best way to wake up in the morning.. ERT see how big it is?

Difference.... that's all for today folks.. remember yesterday and the black-out? random people Lift door double fun i was thinking about pretending to be a real tourist and not understanding the sign... but i did not want to miss the rest of the trip.. so no more pictures from Maverick from this angle also seen from another angle..

    Day 9 of the trip.. Our second day at Cedar Point. After a nice credit run (once the rain stopped the day before) i spent most of this day taking pictures of... a lot of things. This is going to be a "big"update (105) pictures but please keep in mind it's just a selection. This update will include the most "bizarre" picture i've ever taken... Enough said.. picture time... worth the walk almost.. another Maverick angle time for a long walk (thanks for the idea Erik) fun for all ages (respect) hold on surprise? best spot to be.. mamma do i really want to be here?? it is a shame i did not see anybody from the group on a train while standing there for pictures more launch fun cooling.. Back to the normal pictures.. here's a crop.. the most "bizarre" picture i've taken so far on any trip.. (left hand..) Finally a picture of the front row while spinning down.. but hey.. what do i see?? yes.. more trains.. ehmm mine creek (whatever) ride.. i see people on the other side there was Maverick (again) there is the boat aha now why are these kids so excited? wrong lens but you get the idea "old school" more random people another coasters the place to be while it rains? owh.. wicked twister launch not for me.. fun for all ages ....people random... i liked the inside of the letters.. from this angle it's almost a reflection.. green fun.. but hey.. what the heck trying to be creative.. random people.. Different angle cooldown looks like they were having fun... there is more to see in the park.. Fear or joy? ehmm Random people being launched and there's the train i guess oil cooling launch look dad ( ? ).. this is how it works stupid pole after sunset these lights were a nice addition.. random people coming down First train with guests on top.. the "7 in a sixpack" picture almost straight up.. another test run and i found a nice picture spot... speaks for itself waterfun Test run.. ehmm nature Have i seen these 2 before? ... back row Mean streak... waiting area brake time front row some screamers i loved it Just look at the back wheels.. Hairtime more random.. i did not see most of the trip members for the entire day random people silly green stuff more random people here we come stupid fence another train preparing for halloween? it wasn't me after the canyon speed skyhawk was started.. close enough most of us have a similar picture (i assume) it was still early so there were some people still cleaning.. it's time for Maverick.. First drop fun.. especially how different people handle it differently.. more familiar faces.. anybody interested in "the monster" ?? e-mail....     After a long drive we arrived at Cedar Point to only discover that there was a power outage. After some flashlight fun it was time to get in the room.... I decided to take my tripot and take some pictures from the window. After a while the power came back and the lights went on again. I've also added pics of day 8 which was bit short (picture wise) After being lucky to keep my camera dry in the morning i decided to not take it with me for the remainder of the day (shame on me) So this is a very short update of the night before and the morning of Day 8 Cedar Point Last one before the gates from above opened and the rain came.. .. trouble... Here comes.... Casey fun waiting in line for Maverick sorry, the order got mixed up (stupid me) but this was test for my camera lens... when the lights came back on.. i tried to take a picture from hand to show the difference.. Another 30 second picture.. but at a different angle from the room window 30 second shutter time 10 second shutter time..

    Day 7 was spent at Six Flags Great America... most pictures were taken while walking from one ride to the other or waiting in line... walk the loop?? time to go theming.. ehmmm random people onride from lunch area Time for some more wood Credit whoring i would not trust a child near him (sorry) They did not have a clue yet... test seat still upside down?? upside down Batman first drop fun Random people un expected launch goofing around on V2...     Day 6 post 2 has the selection of pics from Timberfalls. Hope you like them... probably a lot of the same... but there's only one ride Time to go... i just liked this in the middle with the mini golf around it scream if you like it TPR train looks like an excellent time Back to Avalanche Please explain Near miss Normal Ryan coastered out? private train die hards mini golf time Found another angle waterfall remember the other picture?? see what i mean? somebody spotted the camera.. what can i say?     Day 6 consisted of more fun at the Wisconsin Dells. To keep things simple i'll do three posts.. This one will be with the selection for Riverview Park, next one will be Timberfalls and the last one will be more of Mt. Olympus Enough said.. picture time Thanks for the fun, now is the time to go to the next park.. Dizzy dragon fun nice One of the rides.. what a difference.. Enough is enough... Going backwards Air..     After this bonus park it was time to head on to Mt. Olympus. Here's a selection of the pics i took during the first hours (day5) we were at the park. Day 6 will have way more pics of this place..... dude.... paying to get on did not work.... how to make a park look pretty with some lights? getting ready for ERT.. but then there was the rain.. ryan's expression after losing Cyclop backrow virginity i can understand this.. more backrow fun airtime?     Day 5: After a nice drive it was time for the Bonus Surprise Park. Which turned out to be Little Amerricka. Time to head to the next park, thanks meteor for an smooth ride paparazzi Fear? the adventures of Robb and Casey.. finish still not aware... ehm... are we interested in knowing what was going on? not aware of the cam? look.. there's a camera i don't knwo what to say.. mouse.. mad.... you decide.. pain or joy? the ride op was having a blast.. the bumps from...... too lazy to wait for a train.. Bit there was more at this park.. see Big ok from me, nice smooth ride and trains another angle Having fun That's better ehmm next plane "victim" little hairtime That's the way we like it geeks Next train another fun drive just next to meteor.     Here's the second post for Indiana Beach. I was so "impressed" by the stunt team that i took a lot of pics. It is something we don't have in the area anymore I just wanted to share some of them with you. So enjoy or don't look at them Last one for this update. Thanks for watching More fire time to act a little just missing the "right" nose rope jumping Pirate show action time well done guys After a few practice runs it worked can we make it? double front flip practice Look at the camera pratice run? needs more practice time to talk to the ladies almost there...     Thanks for those nice words robb, now i have to be even more carefull "not to walk besides my shoes" (translation of a dutch saying, not sure if everyone else is familiar with it) anyway... Day 4 Indiana Beach In my opinion a nice little park which reminded me a little of Blackpool. I did however spent a lot of time watching the water stunt team and took a lot of pics of their stunt show, their practice and some of the pirate show (with worse light conditions) therefore i'll do a 2 post update, first post will be park pictures (as seen before) the second one will be only about the water show people After this it was time to get back to the bus Fun for all ages Look mom.. no hands ERT time, since it was raining.. we got the bumper cars shooting gallery I like lights (and i missed my tripod ) Time to go home?? After sunset Why did i take this picture??? Who gave that to Robb?? you know he's gonna "play" with it Total focus TPR takeover at ball game (forgot the name) Here's how it ended.. one big pile of people Remember the video? Casey tackle Ryan?     Thanks for this reply. It was (and still is) my idea to take pictures at parks to show people's natural (instinctive) reactions to the rides and the park itself. Sometimes this doesn't work since a park is too big or everybody is somewhere else... but the whole idea is to get natural reactions. And off course first do some credits while being there and after that take the pictures... you gotta make priorities

    The second part of day 3 of this trip we visited Beech Bend. Home of Kentucky Rumbler.. and more thanks rumbler for the awesome rides.. i'll take more pictures if i can come back trying to get the lights of the train on.. Curves and yes.. the train was flying They loved it some rumbler action with the fading light... see what i said above? It was getting later and still no pictures from rumbler.. and i tried to be creative.. splash powersurge after schock? I guess a lot of people have similar pictures... from across the lake.. even a better distance Water park part of this lovely place almost done big smiles turning spotted power surge.. White water express with blue water??? No way i was getting closer that day again.. more sunset pictures total shock, so i forgot to take pictures of other riders Random attraction seen from across the lake having fun "bingo" moment.. ryan on his knees to get back the cap he lost and casey found.. it is tough to be a credit whore must come down.. what goes up.... airtime Why did i get on this drop tower? or.. why aren't these girls talking to me??     Time for a new update. On day 3 we visited 2 parks. First up was Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Something funny i did see while on way to the next park.. Getting ready for the onride photo.. Random people silly fende and sign.. getting in the way for me and my camera more loop goodness Group hug Can you spot the former owner of those sandals? daffy and some sandals he found This while Daffy was holding back the (former) owner Bugs loved the backpack and tried to take it home with him.. we will help cooling down Another dance... YMCA waterride theming Feeling almost at home (despite the temperature) credit whoring now why did i take this picture.... see? Food time more characters was somebody able to have a look in the future? (sorry, could not resist) One of the few groups i did see during this morning.. something about vertical loop etc.. more theming I loved these things "close call" Ladder climb on Ferris Wheel? Welcome committee Last picture from me for this ride.. i guess almost everybody was on it? Second ride more Deluge fun almost at the finish...     For everyone wondering.. i've been using a Nikon D50 with 2 standard lenses 28-100mm and 70-300mm. Everything else is a matter of practice.... and sometimes a lot of luck. In the "near" future the Cedar point update will follow with the (in my opinion) most amazing picture i ever took.... I guess there will be an update every 24 hours... if nothing else happens

    First of i would like to thank everybody for having an excellent time on an excellent trip. There are so many memories to it which i will probably never forget. Thanks to everybody involved for making it an awesome time and off course a special thank you to Robb and Elissa for organizing this trip. I'm looking forward to joining future trips. And know... it is time for some of the pictures i took. How to use the "coney bucks" ehm.. can't remember the reason for this picture.. But there was way more at this park Yes he does (as long as he does not see a camera aimed at him..) hmm, does this person know how to make another facial expression? They had no idea hmm, time for a little prayer? Survivors You know what happens if a bus load of TPR's come to a park with one credit... The picture everybody has....     Last post of the last part of the selection of the pics i took during this awesome Mini-Europe trip. Thanks to everybody for making this one awesome experience. Looking forward to meeting you again somewhere someday Our exit since it was time to go back home old lady Monkey time Looks like he found it.. More random people.. screemers and neck turning on Black Mamba Random theming near Black Mamba View at the main entrance. or was the word scary? This one was pretty cool.. But it's always good to have some picture i don't wanna walk in that outfit all day... finally, normal faces ehmm.. Was the ride that exhausting? it's green (at least the ceiling..) Time to check out the other rides and things in the park.. Our hotel next year?? Random people enjoying the first drop..
