^ No problems with any of the rides i've been on so far. All of them were well worth the entire trip and a lot of fun. Anyway.. i guess it's time to "jump" back in time a little. As mentioned earlier.. Legoland Germany was one of the places i've seen multiple times while driving to Austria and this year i was able to time the trip with the start of the park season. After my visit it was time to check out Legoland Germany. and the last one.. next update might be Europa Park... the perfect place for a day out with the family... driving academy for the young ones.. so what's going on here? that's where i was not that long ago.. ok.. time for a quick last run through this place.. not sure why i took this picture.. the other coaster more boats ProjectX and the parking.. the castle.. time to check out the view.. but i did get in line for this thing... just for the fun of it.. there were so many people that i did not take the time to look for something special.. with airplanes.. there's usually an airport it's floating.. ok.. for me.. not today.. some other time maybe.. loading area... Now this looks interesting... going round and round and round... Raupenritt.. it was flying.. happy riders... fire in the.... scared?? next que area and ride.. not bad.. not bad at all.. next credit.. i see.. they are looking for "gold" now why are those people looking at the water?? for the young ones.. time for something totally different.. and for the kids.. especially if you decided to get on this ride.. people dryer.. always handy around water rides.. more safari.. a pirate's world.. surprise this could be interesting... any request songs? always fun.. some people decided it was time to cool down a little... looks like fun.. another ride.. i guess you can figure out to which ride this sign belongs... looks like they still have some work to do.. the new for 2009 addition... food 4D movie theater.. did not get in line to see one though... Looks like more and more places are getting these.. First drop fun.. on the final brake run.. getting ready to be boarded Hi Larry let's try to get the credits in before the rest of the crowd arrives.. it was called.. no theecups.. but they did spin.. where did all these people come from?? turned out.. it was regional promotion day. so locals could get in after 13:00 hours for half the price... and they were all waiting untill that moment.. After finding this out.. i walked past the line and enetered the park.. 10 minutes ahead of the waiting crowd.. why are you looking at my.... first things first.. Yes i made it. Not that many people in line yet.. hmm should be ok..

There is no way in life that you would be able to hit this camera from the ride itself. And Coaster Joe, you're welcome

So Today i did something totally different.. Instead of updating my report with pictures from Legoland Germany i decided to drive back to Germany. This time for the new GCI Coaster named El Toro (yes.. you heard it right) at Forellenhof in Germany. After visiting this little park in Germany i'm very happy for them to get this ride in. It's a great addition and totally fits the place. Anyway.. i'll give you some pictures (as usual) Hope you like them. I'll leave you with this one.. later on i will try to do an update on this park regarding the other rides etc. trying to capture the speed.. for young and a little older.. I just like how this structure can make peeple look tiny. flying by there was also a tv station there to shoot an article for this ride.. almost there.. i just really like the way this on is integrated in the area and surrounding things are "used" still going.. I need to get myself a "fish-eye" lens for this kind of pictures.. the trains moves from left to right.. train on first drop.. owh piep... am i going to like this or not... more happy riders i spot some airtime.. lovely banking here we go again.. part of El Toro Just for fun.. another run.. this time in the back.. train passing by.. I'm glad everybody liked the pictures about Blue Fire. I did like the ride, i'm not going to hype it (just in case it's getting overhyped) and i'll leave it up to everybody to experience the ride, enjoy it and make up their own mind. To me.. top 10 easy.. anyway.. back to the "program" Before arriving at Europa Park and staying their for 2 days.. i had a travel day including a visit to two parks.. Legoland Germany is a place i've seen for a couple of years driving to and back from Austria. So i had to check it out. While browsing the Park index i did notice Skyline Park as well. It was only one hour from Legoland so... Time for a little detour This update is all about Skyline Park. It's a nice place where i did not spent too much time.. because i still had to drive for one hour.. and was looking for as much time as possible at Legoland.. (thinking it might be crowded or.. whatever) so i rushed it a little.. yes.. it's another self service ice machine.. thanks for reading. i still have to add this one though.. time to go i guess?? Nerd shot.. ... trees.... looks like fun... and this one is called the Sky Circle.. they even have some bumper cars... random air thing to jump on with too many people at the same time?? skipping as well waterride.. piraten insel.. no thanks.. still waiting for the sun to appear.. it was time to move on.. different angle.. going down again and through the station.. looks like somebody is not that happy at the moment... that piece of track looks so silly from the ground.. but it's a lot of fun in the air.. she looks so happy.. After staying seated for multiple rides because they were still warming it up.. and the best way to warm it up was to cycle it.. it was time for more pictures.. and yes.. it's a the back of the train.. and there they go.. upside down is part of the lift... going up.. Yes.. it's Sky wheel.. the big attraction at this place.. more Pirates... looks interesting.. see.. a nice field in between.. and on the right.. there's more park.. so that was one part of the park.. we now have a nice field in between... i know.. i know.. i should be heading over there for another credit.. speed.. i've got the power... no upcharge?? nice hmm, i remember doing that at Surfers Paradise (Australia) This is the second place (after Toverland) that i remember seeing this kind of ride myself.. they have a wiegand bobkart in here. Now what is this building? happy riders.. some happy riders.. transportation inside the park... going up.. technical stuff.. the passenger car.. inside the station.. owh my.. pedal powered fun hmm, what's this.. old school suspension.. Lifthill... looks like fun.. and it's almost time to open.. Car on the "achterbahn" for young and a little older.. the rides.. does not look like an F1 car to me... station building.. next ride... oeps.. i believe i see the exit already Yes.. you could get into this place, feed these animals etc if you wanted to.. StreichelZoo i want to go back... Just in case you are wondering where i am at the moment.. and how much the entrance to this place was... and action and there's number 2 across the water here's one... max 100kg.. just to clarify.. another swing like the one at Klotten.. what should i add to this.. still not time for the ride to open.. hmm.. i'm walking too fast i guess.. and another credit.. Lifeguard on duty?? more playground stuff.. one insane sized swing.. Hi Larry.. Put 5 people in there.. and you'll be laughing like crazy.. This place had all sorts of random stuff to play on.. like this one.. Duck.. now that does look very interesting (and no.. i'm not talking about the kids on the trampoline) from across the "lake" time to walk on.. looks interesting as well.. but it's still not 09:30 so no "big" rides have opened.. Sky Rider Looks interesting... I believe i see some theming.. Looks like some powered round going thingy... forgot to go back and check it while in action Ice Express?? Construction?? i have to check that later.. it was still very quiet in the park.. and this is an easy and quick way to get from A to B This place had two of them... some call this a credit.. and some call it fun... So i got into the car at 7.. and arrived at the park around 9 in the morning..

Here i am again. First thanks for all the lovely comments. Most questions have been answered already so there's more time for me to show some more pictures from my second day at the park around this ride. I'll let the pictures do the talking (as usual) Some might look a bit double but i'm still adding them as i like them or i feel that they are better then the one from yesterday. One big loop time to get back outside and enjoy the sun a little more.. train and fog and launch get ready for the launch area indeed.. this one did not end up as great as i wanted to so sorry.. please turn left.. and get ready for the... for all the people interested in the "dark" part of this ride.. let's add another 10 minutes... so still 20 minutes of planned waiting to go. I guess this gives a good impression of how popular this new ride is. shops and people.. ok.. looks like everybody arrived a little before me... it is now 12:30.. let's see what's going on.. this is not bad at all.. time for a small break.. Just in case you were wondering why there's hardly anybody in the pictures so far.. here's the reason... Nothing to worry about.. all of this was planned some of the merchandise that is available There are still plenty of people working in the area to make sure everything is perfect the "tunnel" into the area But first you have to chose which line you would like to wait in and yes.. there's a single riders entrance as well You can still some remains from the fog that morning.. early morning.. and there's another look at this new coaster

Well what do you do during the off season? Plan your start of the 2009 season off coarse In my case it started very wild.. but it looks like it's going to be even wilder for the rest of April (keep an eye on this topic for further updates ) anyway.. After going skiing for a week in Austria it was coaster time. Since i was driving past Munich every year (while going to Austria) i noticed that Legoland Germany was along that route. Looking at TPR's Park Index i've also noticed that Skyline Park ain't far away either.. What's better to start the season with 2 parks in one day? More on that later. So that was the Saturday (april 4th).. Since i'm know in the South of Germany.. i might as well drive a little further to check out Europa Park. After last years excellent experience during TPR's Europe Trip what could go wrong? And there's even a new coaster Since Blue Fire is the name of this new coaster and everybody's talking about it.. i'll change the normal update order.. and give you some of my picture of today from Blue Fire at Europa Park. Hope you like them.. By the way.. to which ride in the US should one compare this ride? To me it feels like a Lighter version of Maverick with a fun launch. It has more freedom in the trains (don't worry about over the shoulder restraints) and more out-of-your-seat time (which is always a good thing). Where Maverick goes so fast that you don't know what's up or down anymore Blue Fire has less elements but still provides one excellent punch (and no rattle).. Blue Fire is one excellent addition to and already great coaster line up at Europa Park. Picture time. The day started of being very clouded (hence the quality of the photo's) but at the end of the day... well.. you'll see. Jolly Jolly Jolly time for some more close up's I love this part of the ride.. just that feeling of being thrown out of your seat while being upside down.. going through the rocks freedom.. ok.. back to the coaster.. and it's viewing area so you might get wet when walking along this path on the main path into this area.. there's a nice fountain which sometimes feels like it's part of Yellowstone (or Iceland) and goes big/high.. and through the loop rocks Loop enough close up's.. let's try to give an idea of how big this ride is.. and yes.. that's still the line for today.. the viewing area for the launch part of the new area.. There's a lot of things i can say now... but.. up side down.. owh yeah time to go up i don't have a clue I'm being launched on a rollercoaster and i'm afraid of?? It's that time again.. Time for another update and in this case the final update. The last part of Day 6 was spent at Epcot. I loved the relaxed vibe of that day and especially the relaxing before heading home again. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for an excellent time. One thing is for sure.. i do have to go back someday to do it all over again. The weather was great, the place was great and the company was excellent. Thanks everybody for an excellent time/holiday/relaxing period (one i really needed at that moment) that's it.. time to go home.. back to work.. last picture.. across the lake what should i say... indoor ride.. one day.. one day... the weather was great i did like the "around the world" experience.. just walking around and "feeling" the vibe.. Hard to miss.. no moving trains... One day.. i'll see the original.. plenty of details to have a look at Time to walk around, get something to eat and relax about to test "motion sickness" it's round... i guess?? Let the journey begin.. I had heard stories about these devices.. but never seen one..

Day 6: Disney's Animal Kingdom What should i say about this visit.. Another Disney park with amazing theming. Home of Expedition Everest off course and some other fun stuff. What i remember is the quality of the theming... some parts really gave me the feeling that i "jumped" from one side of the planet to another.. Anyway.. lot of fun... nowhere near enough pictures and i would like to go back someday... after this.. there's one more update... and then i'm done... next time.. next time... anyway.. that's it for this set of pictures.. "from the Mcdon of time" There's more.. or not any more.. No visit is complete without riding Dinosaur me like, me like a lot inside the waiting area.. too many details to look at.. another picture everybody has.. ok.. i guess i'm still in the Orlando area.. hmm is this jetlag really killing me or?? time to start walking... Mickey kids on shoulders.. all focussed on the "opening" act.. or something like that i assume.. is it a tree? i guess we're not alone? the name of the park of this mornings visit what's that in the distance??

Time for another update. I need to finish this report someday... Day 5: Busch Gardens Tampa I need to take notes during future trips cause i don't remember much of this visit. After Busch Gardens Europe is was really looking forward to this visit... but for some reason.. (as i'm typing this update) i do prefer europe to tampa.. Ok.. Sheikra looked way better then Griffon, Rhina Rally was a lot of fun... but it felt like something was missing.. I'll have to check the place again.. someday.. and see if my opinion changes then... anyway.. picture time.. i decided to chill a little more and enjoy some "old" music.. the one at Waldameer was more fun and energetic.. but this was not bad either.. and they had instruments.. maybe i should have waited for a train.. but hey.. it's good enough for me.. what's up with the back row?? please stop... going down mammi there's a lot that can be said now.. but i'll just give you some of my favorite pictures of people "enjoying" their ride on sheikra.. this one did not come out as planned.. but hey.. i did not want to get wet.. so.. time for some more pictures in the area of Sheikra... the weather was great.. so kids were having fun.. i guess this is special halloween decoration.. i guess i'm getting used to rough woodies.. cause it was not too bad.. although once was enough... stupid lockers... looks like a nice candidate for overhaulin?? these are big.. well.. at least to me they look big.. this was fun.. absolutely fun.. Course map.. always comes in handy.. they did have elephants.. which means we are getting closer... I'm almost done with the updates.. So here's another one. Universal and Halloween Horror Nights. Looking through my pictures.. i had the feeling that some were missing on my computer... I'll have to do some searching to see where those have ended up (or if my mind is playing tricks on me) I might present them later on in another update.. if they are interesting enough. Anyway.. Most of the pictures are related to Horror Nights.. Hope you like them.. ok.. time to check out another house... and this concludes this update.. more fire.. rock on.. pretty lights.. hmmmm how do you end this?? with more music and dance off course.. yes.. the main "cast" of this event.. tinman.. I guess it's a "bad guy" ?? 69... yes 69 time for the X.. fireworks.. always good Yeti help?? where?? some sort of guy... and yes.. i'm finally going to watch this movie.. (in about 5 minutes) since my brother just bought the dvd some chicks.. no clue on who they are.. the user belonging to the password everybody knows.. some old guy.. and off course.. Bill and Ted somebody's password.. all kinds of people.. what can i say... there was music, dancing.. time for the part of the night i had been looking forward to the most.. and yes.. i did like the movies.. they did make it back.. during the day this was fun.. at night.. it was even better.. Time for a short break.. spooky... lights can give some nice effects soo much to see.. and so many possible picture angles.. Halloween.. yeah i'll be honest.. i can't remember what this was.. spot our group.. Dude on a mushroom sunset... brings out the... I'm missing the pics from the coaster and MIB at the moment.. so it's time for the night.. Horror Nights that is memories... Imagine what you can do to this alley once the lights go out.. enjoying the view while sitting against a light post?? After some locker fun.. i did enjoy this ride. during the day.. this might have looked cheap.. but once it became dark.. it was amazing.. a park map always comes in handy most of my walkback pictures failed... i just don't like using flash.. and well.. i can only blame myself this walk back was just amazing. Hearing all the stories behind it.. made it even more interesting during the night competition... somewhere during the day we were given the opportunity to "go where nobody had gone before.."

What i did notice is that my work connection is not stable at the moment... But that's probably due to a Proxy that is being used.. My home connection did get the new update pretty quickly.. so yes.. there are multiple causes to this..

Time for another update.. Day 4.. all about Universal.. First stop Islands of Adventure.. I was hoping for some more reactions before posting the next update... This way it would not contain 3 updates on one page.. But what the heck... i might as well post this one now.. otherwise i might be waiting until..... ok.. Next.. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party.. I loved the vibe that evening, loved the fireworks and the entire place. I believe i did get some good pictures.. and i hope you enjoy them.. After our visit to Old Town it was time for an excellent group diner.. Unfortunately (as you might have read already) by this time i was getting pretty darn sick.. and i had no other option then skipping the next day.. and stay in bed.. I can't remember the last time that i've ever been that sick.. and i still don't have a clue on what caused it.. anyway.. i missed some time at Wet and Wild and Epcot.. The next day.. (day 3) it was an all day Disney day.. No way i would skip that.. so there i went.. The following are some pics from a first time visitor to Orlando Disney Parks.. First stop Disney Hollywood Studio's just another angle.. next update.. Mickey's not so scary Halloween party... up side down... They seem to enjoy the ride... i see people .. back outside.. better pre show then in Paris.. excellent food.. just a shame i was still a little sick... water.. always good.. ok.. time to walk a little and go for some food... there was a reason for this... a classic watch your back... that might be heavy.. at least some fire.. no rain?? back inside... still here, and still having fun mickey yes.. the elevator.. inside.. there's so much to see.. another angle.. waiting area and shade.. excellent I guess everybody has this one... Time for some more pictures from orlando... Next stop: Old Town I found this to be an interesting break. Just walking around in the area and all the stuff to look at made it worth going there. something is wrong with this picture.. fly by... now where was that cable i need to pull?? the look so happy... extreme extreme zoom... gives.. fear what's that hand doing there?? impressive... that the ride can handle this load.. insert random comments here.. lets hope this will be strong enough... looks like there are some people up for the challenge.. big enough? back down.. initial reaction to the drop... sorry folks.. still going up... the many faces of a drop tower... starting to go up.. park sign.. just "park" it there.. drop zone... next door.. hmm, looks like fun.. going round and round.. i guess crazy ride.. wondering what went through these minds... owh (insert a toilet related word here) goofy looking contest... don't be scared.. here we go... prices.. almost felt like going back in time.. although i don't have a clue on how things looked 30 years ago.. transportation for this and the following days..

The Orlando trip was amazing indeed.. But let's not get ahead of myself. Time for another update.. After a good night rest.. i took a plane to Orlando to meet up with the "gang" for a nice evening dinner. That place was amazing (as well as the view outside over the lake) I so want to go back there.. Anyway... The next morning it was time for my first Orlando park visit.. First stop.. Sea World I'll try to let the pictures do the talking... Althought these are probably not the kind of pictures you would normally expect from me... Hope you like them.. Day 1 (part1): Sea world and don't forget the Manta track nearby... time to go to the next place.. i timed it wrong... Time to cool down a little.. I see some happy faces.. and yes.. there are not that many places where you see this animal just walking around in the park.. Just a few more minutes.. and there's Beer... Happy faces all around me.. returning event i guess... let's visit... there's a surprise around every corner.. Yes.. i did like the place (being my first Orlando park.. i had no clue yet) There's just so much to look at... Another side of this place.. something you won't see in Holland (or maybe even Europe) rollin... This one does not look that big/scary to me.. somewhere inside.. I've always wanted to walk around a place like this.. and try to get some pictures.. what a challenge.. sharks Wave pool no.. we will not feed Robb to you.. he's working his Wii Fit at the moment.. Freedom.. I should have read the signs cause i don't remember the names for these animals.. small overview... "where's your head at?? " or should i just say.. flexible.. time to check out something else.. Priceless expressions as usual.. i see familiar faces... Random people having fun... sorry, coaster site.. so coaster pictures.. "hidden" inside the building... well.. what can i say? First stop of the day... interesting ride.. lines were not that long.. so got on a second time.. Park map.. always handy.. I see some hard hats working at a new coaster.. maybe next year.. yes, i made it..
