^ If you look on RCDB then you would know that the coaster you are suggesting is wrong. But if you look at the link to the image, and then on the homepage where it's from, then you would get the conclusion that the park in question is Okpo Land, and then after a quick search on RCDB you will find that it is: http://rcdb.com/id3390.htm Here are some images from the park: http://www.darkroastedblend.com/2008/01/abandoned-amusement-parks.html

SeaWorld Orlando (SWO) Discussion Thread

^ Looks like there is just "regular" clamp-brakes on the MCBR. Which could hopefully only mean a good thing. That not much trimming will be done on the MCBR. If there had been some magnetic brakes on then it would have definitely slowed down the train. Thanks for another nice update. -

Thanks for the new images. It looks like they will have it done in a few days now. Well the train enter the MCBR with some speed so the MCBR must be longer then the train to be able to safely stop the train without any chance of overshooting the MCBR, especially since a flyer have more "complex" seating so you have space to fold down the seats and safely evacuate the train. -
Whats The Weather Like Where You Live?
Loefet replied to RtherBOnACoaster's topic in Random, Random, Random
We just got 2 more inches of snow, so we are now at a total of 8". Hopefully they will get out early to plow so I don't have to trudge through it all on my way to the University in an hour. -

Super fresh update over at CoasterForce: http://www.coasterforce.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=22408&start=252 Lots of nice photos. The next roll is up and a couple of new supports. -
^ It's the seats that will be used for the Stingray design that is going up in China. Also for the future flying coasters. Nice to finally see some pictures from IAAPA.

Liseberg Discussion Thread
Loefet replied to viking86's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Update time! Now that the Christmas season at Liseberg have opened, my brother got some pictures of the construction going on. He even got confirmation that Cirkus Expressen will be removed after Christmas to make room for the new unannounced coaster. Tornado is gone!! It's just hanging out by it's old location for now. From inside the park. Peaking over the fence. Last few weeks for Cirkus Expressen. Yay, construction marker!! New Footer possibly. Until next time my brother go to Liseberg. -
Lagunasia, Japan - A new TPR Video!
Loefet replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That really was some great stuff at Lagunasia. This wasn't the only time where Tom entertained us with his jumping. Too bad that the result the other times weren't as "entertaining" for us -
Alton Towers Discussion Thread
Loefet replied to Ed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
From the reports of the last day of Corkscrew life as a coaster, there was some hint's about the new ride. It will definitely be a coaster and also a worlds first. This will rule out many coaster designs that are out on the market. SO I guess we have to wait and see what they will come up with. http://www.thisisstaffordshire.co.uk/news/Corkscrew-fling-Alton-Towers/article-462050-detail/article.html -

^ I think that he isn't the one that makes the 3d models of the coaster trains/track, so there might not be any ready just yet. But as all other big project I guess that he has made a a schedule in which order he want to make the things. And he has also made clear in an earlier update that he had a lot of semi-finished stuff, and he is checking of that list in a suitable order. Also I don't think that it would look that good to have a coaster in a giant boring box, it will look so much better now when he really can show it of in a full 3d environment. -
Mitch Hawker's Wood & Steel Coaster Poll 2008
Loefet replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For me Everland had a top 2 finish for both polls, with wood higher ranked then steel Everland FTW!! T-Express mainly since its Balder and then some and also the awesome ejector moment down the drop. Eagle Fortress for it's insane awesome kick-ass ride. -

We rode this coaster on the TPR Japan tour last year. Even though it is mentioned in the brochure that it is designed to speed up the operating process that DEFINATLY was not the case. But the transverser did provide two different riding experiences, one standing and one sitting. They were running it faster when we were there this year. They actually reloaded the sit-down train while the stand-up side were going around the track, but they unloaded the sit-down side before they would reload the stand up side, so about 50% faster then last year, my guess is that the stand-up side loads slower so they won't have people wait so long sitting in the train. And they probably take it pretty easy when it's not that crowded. ^^ I love your old Japanese videos. I have been a little intrigued about that Togo stand-up at Gotemba, thanks to finally shedding some light onto it. -

^^ You should hopefully be able to run it on a decent computer as long as he don't add a lot of DirectX stuff to it. OpenGL FTW!! ^ I guess that he wanted to perfect the environment before focusing on coasters. -

^ Look no further, I had some pictures of it lying around on the net anyway. The original ones made by Togo are way better then the newer version that are reproduced of an unknown company. They run more like a paratrooper then like the original insane ones. Anyone on the TPR Tokyo trip that were at Nasu Highland knows what I'm talking about. There is a clip that feature the new model of the Wildstorm on the attraction page of Hiruzen Kogen Center. http://www.hkcenter.co.jp/attraction/index.htm click on number 18 to download. But yeah I would really like to see a video of the original thing. -

^ On number 3, there is a turntable between the station and the tilt mechanism. so that the car will always face the same way during the ride, but would have been coll to go the whole thing backwards). -

I have been waiting for this brochure for a while now. Too bad that it didn't include the Wildstorm flat ride though By the way, there is an installation of that Ultra Twister with a twist and dive at Rusutsu Resort on Hokkaido, link with info and pics > http://www.rcdb.com/id1259.htm -

^ That 3 car train is just a showcase of the different types of cars available. Looks a bit comical though. -
Just get a bluetooth adapter for your pc and send them over. That would be one of the easiest ideas, unless you have them on a memory card on your phone or have a computer cable.
