  1. ^ Mountain Express - Six Flags Magic Mountain.
  2. A little project I have been working on... A little bit of Intamin goodness.
  3. It looks very similar to Joypolis in Tokyo, just hope that they don't use the same manufacturer for the coaster though.
  4. My guess would be on Cyclops at Mt. Olympus.
  5. ^ Not really, since if you have read the TPR China trip PTR, you would know that it's the spinning coaster at Amazing World (I'm unable to get the name since RCDB don't work at the moment). Edit: It's called: Flying Coaster
  6. ^ There are 4 more, but then again if you had posted one of them then it would be too easy since the name is on all of them... Anyway, since you said that there weren't any good pictures of it, then I did a quick search of powered coaster that were closed and I found this one: Alpen Blitz at Playcenter São Paulo
  7. ^ Sorry that it took some time but I have to sleep, so I didn't see this picture until this morning. Runaway Train at Pettitts Animal Adventure Park
  8. Looks like: Roller Coaster at Wicksteed Park, but that image isn't from RCDB.
  9. Cirkus Expressen is history now:
  10. There are one in Italy, four in Japan and still one in America, that are still up and running.
  11. LOL, well I have spent a bit too much time at RCDB I think, and some stuff just stick very well in my mind.Oh and have also ridden Regina a bunch of times, so I recognized it pretty easy.
  12. Regina at Tobu Zoo. Same procedure as last time.
  13. Kombo at Indianapolis Zoo, I can spot a Zierer Tivoli Medium coaster from miles away. If you don't want another hard one I have prepared earlier, then someone is free to post a picture.
  14. In which document does it say that? If this is an Intamin then a hydraulically powered friction wheel launch over the lift is a possibility. It could also say that hydraulics will be used for the switch tracks etc...
  15. There is a bit more information about the First gen Freefall's in the First Drop magazine edition 81 pages 26-27. This includes a complete list of manufactures units and a concept drawing of a looping version. On that list there is one that raises a few question marks, in 1995 there was one sold to JR Central in Nagoya (JR as in Japan Railway). If anyone know anything about this one I would be really interested in more information.
  16. Me and my brother rode Bandit a week before TPR raided the place and it was really hauling ass around the track, it was a lot better then in 2007. They have 3 trains on Bandit, one normal, another normal that they use for Splash Bandit and one Backwards. They only run Splash Bandit over the summers and we were lucky in 2007 since we went there on the last weekend before removing the "Splash" bit. When they don't run the Splash version I think that they run it with one train backwards if there is a need for a second train, or they just run it with two trains facing forward.
  17. My brother have sent me a couple of new images. Looks like they are getting ready to remove Cirkus Expressen, and that they are pretty ready to install Hang-Hai.
  18. I'm sorry to say that it wasn't a real Togo flat ride of death, but a newer ripoff, and that it's nowhere near as crazy as the original. Good day though.
  19. Gran Montserrat Parque Espana-Shima Spain Village Anyone post an image.
  20. Since no one have made a guess then I will add a new hint. "I can almost guarantee that no member have or will ever ride this coaster."
  21. ^ That looks like a great deal since you will save ¥1500 than by taking the bus (not to forget that it's half the price then the normal NEX ticket). Plus that going by train is a really nice way of getting to and from Tokyo, have done it several times myself. Just get on a train that goes to Shinjuku and just relax, they are really nice to ride. The difference is that you have to walk from Shinjuku station instead of getting dropped of by the Hotel.
  22. ^ Tokyo have much more then a Metro, there are around 20 different train companies running lines in Tokyo. If you need some great up to date rail-maps over the Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya areas, then this is the place to visit: http://www.mukiryoku.com/railmap_e.html If you don't want to run around with a bunch of cash and buy a lot of individual tickets everywhere, then I would almost recommend you to get a Suica card, it's a prepay card and it's valid all over Tokyo's public transport and a lot of other places (vending machines, some stores, etc.). More info can be found on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suica Have fun in Japan.
  23. ^ You mean one of these? I got: 20/20 Really easy this one.
  24. And there are less then 5 other coasters with this name.
