  1. It's time for another: Helix Update!! Today it's only 4 weeks left before Liseberg shuts for the 2013 summer season and it's only 230 days until Helix opens. The four weeks means that if I continue with these bi-weekly updates then there will be two more dirt and footers galore updates from within the park. I really hope that there will be some chance to pop by the park and do an overview update from our observation point of the park so that we can see some steel rising. Then there is always the winter season which opens 6 weeks after the summer ones end, so there will be a slight pause in the updates before they will continue until Christmas. Today's bike ride to the park was really hard, sure getting there was a piece of cake, but the return run was murder. Strong head winds and legs feeling like rubber meant that it was going at a snails pace on the way home. Really need to ride my bike more often... Onto the images!! Arrived just after Liseberg opened and went in from the southern entrance. Headed straight up the hill since the rides up there won't open for the first hour, meaning that it's really quiet up there, great for taking images First stop is the second launch area, taken as always from the top step of the stairs to the ride op entrance of Uppskjutet. They have removed a lot of rock since last time I was here, getting close to the final level I presume Found a new spot for images, under one of the big wooden fences, also of the second launch area Some of the last footers for the second launch is located between here If you forget what it's all about Construction HQ is really busy, but it can also be loads of stuff thrown in since it's the weekend Preparing new footers by Uppswinget The game/drinks area by Uppswinget is cleared Nothing much in the Pretzel area, they really need to start preparing footers here Not much here either, probably start the footers here soonish This was confirmed to be the main transformer building for Helix, named S9, it will deliver 1.5 MW for each launch when needed Just ramp it up 800 times and it could power Doc Browns DeLorean This place is really narrow, it really snakes between areas under construction The transformer building have grown quite a lot since last time, and also there is even more footers here And also on the other side I though this area was more or less complete since they had started to backfill, but they have more than doubled the number of footers here Right in the middle of the path Footers footers everywhere Wonder what this one is for? Never seen one of these with 6 holes pre-footer plate Some strange structure which would be some kind of footer I guess Look here is number 200 as well Heading up to the Station area, I noticed that they had removed the games here next to Desperados and put up a massive wall Seems like they have started to widened this path to be able to fit in the brake-run for Helix I haven't seen this place for 13 years, since they shut down the Simulator which became Maxxima, it was the queue area for the simulator ride Some progress at the station Heading around to the other side of the station area I spotted even more footers Also at the end of the first launch you have this one?? More work at the station area Station from the other direction Footers are everywhere!! First launch area is more or less complete, I don't think that there will be more footers in this area. It seems like they are working to reopen the main path up the mountain pretty soon OK, nothing more to be seen at the top, let's go down to the main park WHAT!! No sexy train to drool at Pretty much done That's one big footer, and the yellow thing is a location from which they are measuring where the footers will be located This area have been pretty much done for a while now It was the Farm days at Liseberg this weekend, so here are some Llamas Calf This was the closest thing I got to a Donkey though There was some massive queues on Lisebergbanan so I didn't bother with images from the construction area right by the queue, but this will have to do until next time. This view is something you haven't seen before, it's the location of Helix's helix So this was it for this time, I did a lap around the park in case I could spot anything from the outside There is the sexy train <3 But wait what have they done to the seats?? Until next time!!
  2. Yes I know that Liseberg is a bit of 2 of everything, but the experiences between each pair are pretty different. Atmosfear is tall and delivers epic floater, where as Höjdskräcken is a typical S&S tower. Comparing Kanonen with Helix, then sure Helix will beat Kanonen in every way and anyone that says otherwise have some strange ideas on stuff. Kanonen is tight and powerful where as Helix will be flowy and gentle, two complete opposites in a way. But I do agree that Kanonen may be leaving the park much sooner than most of the other stuff Liseberg have to offer. Speaking of ride choices at Liseberg then I find it strange that all the more "thrilling" flat rides either swings or move vertically. Liseberg really need some more variation in the future, since they are all pretty boring by now Helix again, I found the studio that made the train designs, etc. for Helix (and several other rides at Liseberg). and I have to say that there were some really great designs before settling at the final one, it's just too bad that the full lighting package didn't make the final cut, since that would have been really awesome to see that green snake through the forest on the Liseberg hill. SOURCE of the images below - Quarry Fold Studio I wouldn't have minded this design for the trains Epic glow, that unfortunately didn't happen
  3. Gröna Lund posted an epic image on their FB page which I thought I want to share with you all: Source: https://www.facebook.com/gronalundstivoli
  4. Actually far from it. It's the Fuji TV building, loads of nice doramas emerge from that place. Even though they may actually feature Ultra Man, etc. not sure.. Love the updates though, nice to get a feeling of what you can do there, since I'm really looking to go there later this year.
  5. Sorry for the late reply, if you are in the park already then I hope that the crowds aren't that bad for you, but if not, then I would guess that it won't be as bad as yesterday, but it would be even less later. EDIT: According to an article in GP today which said something about Flumeride made an E-stop, also said that there were 14000 visitors in the park today, which really are a lot of people for a Sunday this late in the season.
  6. BTW about the Helix construction, noticed that Liseberg managed to arrange their construction schedule somewhat that they could open Lisebergbanan on the 22:nd, wonder if they manage to do something similar on the 29:th or if it will be shut then as planned. Thank you!! Today it was pretty bad, way worse than almost all other visits this year, Lisebergbanan was about 30 minutes as we were there, the queue for Flumeride, Uppskjutet, Uppswinget, etc. was spilling out onto the main paths, so today were pretty crowded to say the least. Of course , you need a season pass if you plan to visit the weekly/biweekly to be able to make these updates for you all out on the net. Sundays are almost always better especially now when the peak season have passed. I was actually pretty surprised by the crowds today, must be the really nice weather we are having. It will be even better as the season nears it's finale, the crowds will decrease as you get closer to the final day, and also you will get more lovely night riding later in the autumn It will get colder, but Lisebergbanan at night gives you a nice warm feeling inside It's a shame really, I don't live that far away from Liseberg in reality (about 32 km) but I really wish that I could live even closer than I do today, there are loads of nice apartments with great views of Liseberg I would love to live in
  7. Helix Update Had some time to stop by the park today and here is the latest: No steel today, but a lot more footers than last time. They have started work on several new locations since last time, heck there was even some movement at the station area, which was really nice to see. Still a lot to do, but I think most of the footers on the northern end of the mountain is done. I didn't bother to ride Lisebergbanan today since it was pretty crowded, so I can't say how much is done in that area, but I'm pretty sure that they have progressed as far as to start making the actual footers. On the other hand while walking by the storage/maintenance area I spotted some people milling around some big sky-lifts so there are preparations being done to start the erection as the steel arrives, though I doubt that it won't really happen until after the season finale, which is the 6:th of October. Pictures: This was actually the last images I took, but I put it first since it's a good place to start. Here you can see how much of the mountain that is being under construction We just have to hope that they fix this area later so that it will look just as nice as before Most of the footers for the first launch are done, just some at the end remains Some of them are massive Would you look at that, it appears that they have done something at the station area, seeing that there is a digger there now Here is something new, wonder what they are doing there They have completely ripped out the flower bed that was located here before, not so odd really since the brake run of Helix will go past here They have started to clear away that black shed that have been located here for some time, and looking at the holes in the concrete then there might also be some preparations being made station track footers They have relocated a lot of material here I haven't seen this ditch here before, so there is some major preparations being done to the station area The last footers for the first launch, some of them may also be for the dive down to the pretzel Crossing point between the first airtime hill and the turn before the essess into the in-line twist This one on the other hand will be for the second corkscrew The last one was number 33 and here is 34 Still a lot of drilling to be done The "power" building have really started to take shape (no idea really what will be located here, but power would be a good bet, so I will call it that) A little closer They have to clear out a lot of stuff here to be able to start the footers for the Pretzel I would almost say that they are pretty much done here under the lift, hard to tell really, I do hope that they will start the footers here soon though They have also cleared out the games/drink machines under this roof so that they can put in the footers required for Helix It's really hard to tell how much they have done down there from this location, next time I have to go on Lisebergbanan so I can take a closer look Here next to Flumeride was something I haven't seen before, Looks like a footer for the second launch, the location is spot on for one The hole in the image above is just straight down here between the roof and Flumeride. Looking at the lower end of the ride then there is loads of clearing to be done until footers Crap, they have expanded their Construction HQ and put a new shed in right at the spot where I take the images to see what is going on.. .. Doesn't matter really, since the barriers are so low that you easily can take some images above it More blasted rock at the second launch area And looking at all those holes then it seems like they aren't done yet But then again, there may be more on the way The Helix car is still a big attention grabber, it seems like there is always some people milling about around it Don't think much have happened here for some time now, most of the footers here are more or less done It's a shame really seeing the hill this naked, but the lack of trees makes it possible to see parts of Lisebergbanan that you haven't for years As said, I have to go on Lisebergbanan next time, since these kinds of images don't really tell much Look, 3 Sky-lifts!! Kanonen!! Here is an image that was taken slightly before the first one, and with it I end this update. Until next time!!
  8. ^ Well not exactly, only that it's shut on the 22:nd and 29:th, giving the construction crew 4 days full days near Lisebergbanan for the coming 2 weeks, instead of the 3 when the park is shut during those weeks, after that then they will get 4 and later 5 full days/week to work hard on the construction of the footers, until the park closes after the first weekend in October. So they have about 6-7 weeks to finish all the footers until it's time to start erecting the steel in early October. By the way it's now only 250 days until opening of this new coaster I also promised some images from the past week, so here is a small selection from my visits: Hi again, here is a new update This one will focus more on the news that have happened since the last update There is a big hole next to the upper escalator To the left of the image above Big piles of rock laying around the first launch/corkscrew area Still nothing to report from the station area, according to official announcements then then should have started by now It seems like they have concentrated on getting the Station Construction HQ area ready though, it's in the usual location where they shoot the big fireworks on the final day, wonder if there will be one this year, seeing that these sheds are there Second launch area preparations, loads of rock is going to be removed, since the Launch track will start out lower than what the Flume Ride is Just to the right of this image is the super tight spot where helix will dive between Lisebergbanan and Flue Ride with 10 centimetres to spare on each side The big hole where the digger were chucking rocks around have found it's use, it will most likely be where all the power and control systems for Helix will be located So they have put in some asphalt on this spot where there were gravel last time, the steel plate is a bit intriguing, but if I remember correctly then there have been a stick on this location which marks where a footer will be, so there is most likely a hole underneath it They have completed the corners on the first set of footers, this area is now done The first launch footers are progressing smoothly, and they are more or less done, just the final touches on the larger ones The end of the first launch are soon getting ready to receive footers Lisebergbanan queue area construction, this area may be one of the reasons why Lisebergbanan will be shut the on the 22:nd and 29:th Much to do until the beginning of October Next update will most likely happen next weekend, they have had loads of time since these images were taken (most of them are nearly a week old). So it will be interesting to have a look then and see some real progress. So until next time!!
  9. Thanks all! Went tot he park this Monday and this time I had a go on Balder, and I'm glad to report that it was business as usual with he safety checks, so no stapling or anything like that since the Texas Giant accident, just a check of the belt then a slight tug on the restraint to see that it's locked. Which is all good news. Also starting next week then the park will just be opened during the weekends until the season finale, so expect plenty of progress during the weeks compared to now when the workers have to consider the park guests. Will be going to the park tomorrow as well, so expect some images if I spot something good (I have some since this Monday as well so it's likely that there will be some images posted at least this weekend).

  11. Lovely report Bill, can't wait to see more of Japan. Didn't realize that Nagashima Spaland have moved around some coasters in such fashion until I saw it here, really strange to do that, but also really nice to see that they are using the space in a better way. That spiral building was under construction when we went there in 2007, so you might have seen it at that time, but not completed. It's a vocational school, with educations in Fashion, Technology Design and Medical college in one, there is also the famous Cocoon building in Shinjuku which is the Tokyo branch of this school. Can't wait to see more from you, I really enjoy your imagery, but it's a shame to hear that you have gone all digital
  12. Thanks for the comments!! ^^^ It's less than 2 months left before we will see steel going up for the ride, which means that they have lots of things to do before than, I can't say for sure but I doubt that they have completed much more than 10% of the total number of footers (about 280) so far. Now it's starts to make sense why they announced this project almost a year ago. ^^ Absolutely agree ^ Well, I always choose Lisebergbanan over Balder any day, there is not many rides that I prefer to Lisebergbanan as a matter of fact. It's a great rides that offer so many things on it's winding course, and next year it will be even better with all the close encounters with Helix, and if you can get some nice views of the Helix construction then it's a bonus. Balder is on my to do list though, will see how the crowds are next time and how much time I have in the park for the next update In the coming years Lisebergbanan is planned to get a large upgrade, which would include a complete electronics update (the old relay based system is unreliable at best and is really hard to troubleshoot when it goes wrong) and hopefully replace the brake system to a more modern magnetic based system, which in the end might mean that we could end up seeing new trains as well as other tweaks to the track to accommodate these changes (new lift, MSBR's, etc.). So it will stay in the park for many years to come.
  13. HELIX Update So my wishes earlier in the thread about a new camera became true as I bought one for myself as a late birthday present, what to do with a new camera you might ask, well doing a Liseberg/Helix update is a great place to start. So yesterday I went to Liseberg for a few hours and had a really great time. A lot less crowds this time but still far from empty as you might experience on other times during the year, but the nice weather made that I didn't care about the people, it was just an awesome time to walk around in Liseberg. First though, Liseberg posted a few more renderings of the station yesterday, but they also claimed that they had begun construction yesterday as well, but I didn't see any action going on in that area when I was there. It looks a lot like the matrix, which might be great, as long as it's not a static image and just part of the pre-show. I really wonder if you have to choose between the Blue and the Red pill to get on the train itself? SOURCE So onto my own images. Since I went earlier in the day this time means that you will all see a bit more action in the images, since they were working hard in several places, even though the park were opened for business as usual. A bit noisy at some places, but it's still nice to really see the progress.. Welcome to Liseberg. As you can see on the main display, this Monday were the last of the "sing-along" shows on the main stage, which is one of the reasons why the Mondays have been so packed The Liseberg Gardens have been overrun with Helix construction A big fence straight through the main entrance to this section of the park which force you to go straight through the hedge surrounding this place to go to the gardens themselves The workers have created their own water feature, since they have completely destroyed some of the other ones in this area Looking over/beside the fences you can see why they have shut this section off, the main staircase have been completely removed to build a couple of footers Looking up towards the first launch Another big hole on the other side of the main route up the mountain Walking up the mountain on a small path through the gardens, the Liseberg wheel made an appearance among the treetops As you can see, no construction have started as they claimed Even this area will have some footers through it, since this is the location of the brake-runs They recently put in some new sticks here due to people pulling up the other ones, but the new one gets the same treatment unfortunately Footer work have begun for the first launch, which is really nice to see Another launch footer, there were a lot of footer action in this area getting ready for concrete Another digger, digging away Scraping clear the rock to start drilling/blasting Main path is still shut, will stay that way for a couple weeks at least, so prams etc. will be forced to take the escalators to the top It seems like they have started to back fill this area to make it look nice again This was new, this guy were really throwing around a lot of crushed rock into the big hole they blasted here a few weeks ago, felt a bit dangerous, since that flimsy fence wouldn't stop any of the boulders he was chucking around Nothing to report at the main Pretzel area But they have started to make progress where helix will dive under Lisebergbanan, there is a new digger going at it from the other side This is also new, there used to be some bushes here, but they are now gone There were some action in the Construction HQ As I said last time, they have cleared the area for the second launch, before that it was a large gravel surface It's a good thing to take these images early on, before the attractions at the top opens, since the operators on Uppskjutet gives you weird looks when you climb their staircase to get a good look over the fence The queue for Lisebergbanan was pretty long this time, but since I had plenty I decided to have a look and go for that matter Lots of clearing here, I'm pretty sure that this area is the next one that they will tackle in the footer phase of construction Here you can see the little digger that will dig from the other side of the Lisebergbanan lift The other big one, dormant during operating hours, wouldn't want to destroy Lisebergbanan with people on it Footers leading to the Pretzel loop Footers leading up to the previous image So that covers all the ground works for this ride, so now it's time for some train action again Green sexy wheels In reality you can just see the individual diodes behind the plastic bars, but here you don't, the eyes look really slick Pleasure is born here. This is unusual. It's something. Please nuderstand this difference. I feel more refreshed than anyone. I'll challenge to the limits. Hmm, maybe I should stop quoting my shirt, and think of something more constructive to write. If you imagine that the whole train will be on the right of this image and this is the last row, then they will have a slightly taller height limit, since they will be adjusted to fit passengers with a larger frame, no wonder why the last row on Blue Fire felt so much better through it's in-line twist, more space to move around In other park news, rabbits have taken over as operators.. They also have exit-passes to the rides, oh how nice that would have been, maybe I should make one for myself I had a look at the new coaster Seems like they have busted a headlight and the roof is missing!! Wonder what have happened? Wonder how much this view will change over the coming months when Helix really starts to grow Since I have left out Balder on so many of the updates, then here are some for you to enjoy Here is one with Kanonen as well I haven't ridden Balder since the SFoT accident, so I can't say if they have started to staple you or if they are as lenient with the lap bars as before, will see if I have the time for it on my next visit and have a look, the hair-time seems to be as good as ever though Another overview of the park from a nearby hill So this concludes this update, thank you for reading, until next time!!
  14. Liseberg just posted some goodies on their facebook page: The first pieces of launch track is nearing completion, which is great news, especially since they are planning to erect the ride between October and February. SOURCE
  15. Sorry for having neglected this topic for a while and not having done an update for a while, but I have been busy with nephews and various cats visiting, and when my brother pointed out the lack of updates the other night then I just had to make one. I do have to say that I really like these long bicycle rides, especially when you have a goal like Liseberg to visit. I have visited Liseberg on various times during the year, but what I encountered this time was something that I have never experienced before. The park was crazy busy, lines were spilling out everywhere, it must have been the best day of the season for the park by far. This is the main reason why you should avoid visiting Liseberg in late June to early August, especially if you want to be sure to be able to ride everything multiple times. Usually queues can be fine during this period, but then again it could also be packed like it was this time. Onto the images: What I encountered inside the gates This is the start to the queue to Flumeride!! And Uppskjutet Never, ever seen people waiting here ever, even the old ferris wheel had a 15 minute line, normally it's a question if you were to be all alone on the wheel or not.. Elbowing through the line to said ferris wheel to get an image on the Construction HQ Progress here as well, what looked like a gravel road had been cleared and it seems like they are ready to clear the area for the second launch, I didn't bother to take images from behind Uppskjutet since that massive queue to the ride, will do that next time Another angle Not much to report at the pretzel pit They have tightened the rock anchors and cut them to size, wonder how soon they will cover them in concrete The massive pit have been filled with a digger More clearing have been done at the end of the first launch Footer leftovers This area is nearly done Other end of the first launch Soon to be launch footers Station waiting to be constructed still, they will most likely start right after the vacation time is over Bad news for people bound in wheel chairs, kids in prams, or any other that use any type of cart. The main route to the upper level of the park have been shut by Helix There is some serious construction going on at this location From below, this area is also pretty much done Several flower arrangements have been sacrificed for Helix Completely walled of area Pretzel area from the other direction As said crazy busy Some new construction markers are seen by the Lisebergbanan queue, but seeing the wait time I didn't bother with a closer look, that will have to wait until next time More construction markers Second launch area No I didn't forget the front car, I mean how could I Looks like they have put up some new signs since last time Statistics... ... and layout, it was really funny to hear the GP's comments on them The eyes, will be lovely to shoot some images at night with long shutter times The pointy bit The money shot And with this I would thank you all for reading and bid you a good day until next time!!
  16. Thanks for the kind words, will post more when possible!! Can't wait to see you all here next year. Yeah, that was confirmed today on the latest update on the official blog. There were also some explanation on how they do the footers etc. and of course some close up construction photos: Helix official blog: Construction update part 3 Also the guy over on the unofficial FB page posted a few more close ups on the sexy train, I will post more here when I get the chance to do the next update, (there were a load of Gothia Cup players in the way to get down a nerdy with the car Link to that as well: Helix unnoficial FB page
  17. Well the launch technology have advanced a lot since then, that article were written almost 10 years ago. Most (if not all) LSM/LIM launches today use some kind of energy storage system, whether it's a flywheel, hydraulic system, super-capacitor or other doesn't matter, the thing is that an LSM coaster can load the electric grid in the same fashion as a pure hydraulic system does. So power usage isn't an issue for magnetic launches any more, even in Ye Olde England. And the best thing by using LSM units is that it's now even possible to regain the power from brakes, which can be used for the next launch. Freishütz in Bayern Park were the first coaster that have energy recovery for any coaster, which will lower the power requirement by 30% roughly compared to a similar launch coaster without the system. These things give the LSM technology an edge compared to hydraulic launched coasters in my opinion. So I don't really see why there haven't been any magnetic launched coasters in the UK, since there is potential to get a more energy efficient launcher that way.
  18. Helix update, Front car sexiness OK, so a few hours and 65 km of bike cycling later (it was shorter than I thought, and I'm a lot quicker than what Google estimated on the route, even if I had strong head wind most of the way. I'm back!! And I have some goodies for you all. But before I get to the great stuff then I will begin with the normal update as usual Hello Liseberg garden centre, I passed this on the way there. All flowers at Liseberg begins their life here Also on the way to the park, everything from this point on the right and everything after the bridge to the left will soon belong to Liseberg, this will be the most southern tip of Liseberg in the future, just to give you a hint on how massive this expansion area is This is the small hill I was talking about in the reply to that rendering that was posted a few pages back, it should really be kept in my opinion Now into the park, and we start at the Construction HQ The second launch area had some new markers They have upgraded the digger at this location to continue under Lisebergbanan More screens at this location than before, wonder why.. They have removed the small wall that were next to the massive hole Close up of the footer attachment I was talking about in the last update They have cleaned up the area at the end of the first launch so we will soon see footer construction here Station area, nothing new that I can see Brand new sticks in the ground at the final in-line twist Footers again They have dug up that little path that run through here, and it seems like they have finally worked out that wet floor problem they have had More first launch area Footers curing, but what's that behind those bushes down there.. Mmmm, SEXY!! They have put some massive re-bar into the ground at the first few footers 8A is ready to be installed Up the first launch First turnaround area First launch again Looks like they are going to shut down this path, this will be bad news for handicapped and parents with prams, since this is the easiest path up the the top of the mountain Towards the top, I know that you all want to see what's just to the right of this image, but you have to wait a bit longer, just a few more images The construction along the Lisebergbanan queue is moving ahead Other direction Not much new here Or here for that matter This is the attraction that is shut at the moment, there were a Rabbit there explaining that we should shoot heart signs like a crazed Japanese anime girl to be able to fix it But before Helix train images, I had a very tasty Saffron and Honey ice cream from "Lejonet och Björnet" (The Lion and the Bear), perfect place if you want an ice cream in the park, it's quite hidden away so there isn't any people there so you don't have to wait in line for the best ice in the park I can't really stall much longer, I have run out of images to do so, so here is the train in all it's glory. It's put on a small section of track in a small garden type feature, and it's all fenced of so that coaster fans won't drool all over it A little closer These white glowing eyes, will be epic at night Green wheels, NICE!! Cantilevered seats with awesome restraints in all their glory, can't wait to ride it A final image, until next time!!
  19. ^ Yes they are, and blue fire is the same: http://rcdb.com/4074.htm?p=23197
  20. Yes, I know it's a double post, but in this case I don't care, because look at this!! SOURCE: Liseberg FB page. Seems like I'm going for a bike ride this evening So expect more pictures later!!
  21. ^ Hopefully there will be more to see later this week Anyway, last week were a bit strange at Liseberg. The new attraction Högspänningen (tower/ferriswheel ride) got shut for some unknown reason with no specific time frame on when it will reopen, most likely waiting for some parts to arrive, a rabbit got molested by some guy which then threatened the security when they came to deal with the incident and then there were an attempted kidnapping in the park, some random guy grabbed a 10 year old kid and tried to leave the park. Just hope that there will not be any more of these incidents in the park in the future, but this is one of the reasons why going during the vacation period might be a bad idea.
  22. ^ Great to know Liseberg posted a few new images on the construction blog, in my opinion then they don't really show much progress so I won't post them here. There is on the other hand some good information released in the text, like the construction of the Station will start really soon, so there might be something more interesting than some piles of stones lying around in the future. Also the trains will be arriving sometime next week, and be put on display beside the fountain just before the escalator up to Atmosfear if you are coming from the main entrance. And seeing these news, then I might consider putting of this weeks update till next week when the trains have arrived. Since there isn't that much that is going to change for the rest of the build, except for some more footers have been completed. So until then.. BTW, here is the link to the newest official update so far: http://projekthelix.se/foton-fran-bygget-del-2/
  23. Ah OK, then a big thanks to you for letting us know about it!! So this makes the image a lot more "official", but it's still an early concept (in my mind) of what can be done with the space that Liseberg have since it haven't been officially announced yet. I'm also pretty sure that this expansion won't happen for a few years, since these things needs a lot of planning to get right, so that it will work with future park expansions. I have posted my views of it on the previous page, and I really think that some things might need some work to be just right for Liseberg. Anyway, very nice of you to share this, I really hope that you can keep us updated on this and other things in the future!!
  24. ^ Yeah, the image were posted on the official construction blog as well, and there one of the comments were that Helix had become the real name of the ride and Liseberg confirmed that it would be the case. Another thing that was said on the construction blog was that the first train will be delivered some time next week, soon after it will be put on display in the park for everyone to watch, so stay tuned. 25. Thanks for the comments!! This just popped up on the Liseberg FB page Source: Liseberg FB page.
