  1. I think B&M will do whatever the hell a park will pay for. CP went to B&M for (what later became) Millennium Force. B&M would have done it, but it was too expensive. I hear you might pay twice as much as MF for a 300 ft B&M.
  2. Mr. Six- What type of track? Do you mean NoLimits? Or which coaster track inside of NL? That's up to you. Colin- There is no due date. Just post it when you're finished. Thanks for attempting. I've actually come across two really good Cyclone-style coasters. One is done by Bobcoaster and it's extremely well done. Hoorah! -kip-
  3. Will you send me an 8x10 autographed photo?...preferably glossy. I will pay. Thank you. -kip-
  4. This is for all the NL gamers out there- I am requesting and/or "challenging" you guys and gals to recreate the classic Cyclone layout. I don't care which one, since they are all the same basic idea. I've tried and failed. I found that recreating the first drop (with proper banking) is pretty damn hard. The first turn is difficult too. So let's see what you can do! w00t! -kip-
  5. Jordan, I'm with you. I've saved every Real creation I've found. He/she is clearly the best designer I've seen, thus far. -kip-
  6. China has 29 amusement parks. http://tinyurl.com/4w34w -kip-
  7. Beyonce & the American Boy Choir - Look To Your Path (Vois Sur Ton Chemin) This is the song she sang at the Oscars. Such an amazing voice. -kip-
  8. I've been a Tiesto fan for years! But, I can't see Tiesto appealing to a Disney crowd. Maybe people in Paris have a more eclectric taste in music?? They totally should put a trance sountrack on SM2. That would make it a beautiful ride - unless of course, the "new" SM2 beats the sh*t outta your head like the old one reportedly did. -kip- (they should have brought in Ferry Corsten too)
  9. It's outdoors?? I simply cannot keep up with this ride! -kip-
  10. Didn't Fitty Cent get hit in the face with a bullet? I wish it went all the way through his head. BLING BLING! -kip-
  11. I think I'm notorious for bashing Oblivion. Really, it would be a fantastic ride if it was just more than drop/tunnel/turn/brakes. Plus, add a long queue in the wicked heat - my overall impression of the ride just sucked. If I got to ride during ERT with no/short wait, I would probably end up liking it a lot more. Another thing that sucks about Oblivion is that the actual vertical distance you fall is quite short. As soon as you enter the tunnel, you start pulling out of the vertical section. It needs to be taller. Sheikra is only, what?... 20 feet taller, though? Plus, I can experience a 272' drop anytime I want at PKD. -kip- THIS is a drop ride!
  12. That 500 ft Skycoaster rumor has been floating around since at least 1996. -kip-
  13. Myself and two friends were the first people to fly the Kissimmee Skycoaster. It was during IAAPA week in 1997. It was set to debut that night, and we happened to be standing there waiting, and they let us have the first official ride. And to top it off, since we were with the convention, we got as many free rides as desired. I rode it again a year ago. Still breathtaking. But I had to pay this time -kip-
  14. Geezus, Slushie! You know how to work a camera or what?? Nice photos! I'm officially in love with the picture of Batman Knight Flight (it will always be "BKF" to me). And how did you get Mantis lookin' so pretty? I haven't seen it sparkle like that since opening year. I would love to see more of your amazing shots. -kip-
  15. Wow, that screenshot alone is exciting, but I can't ride any of your coasters. I can't ride .nlpack files. My friend said something about a Pack Extractor (but he couldn't help me 100% cuz he's on mac). Could someone possibly help me get set up so I can ride everything. I'm so behind on No Limits. Edit: I found something called the NoLimits Track Packager. That seemed to do the trick. Onto the sim! Bwahaha Thanks so much! -kip-
  16. The Great Escape is not lacking anything, IMO. It's perfect. To the guy who called it ghetto - um, where do you live?... Buckingham Palace? TGE might be lacking if you want KiNGdA KAAA!! or R1DDl3Rs RvG, but it's got the perfect mix of coasters for a family park. You want a big, bad inverted coaster? Go somewhere else (SFGADV, maybe?). The only ride that needs some work is Arrow Loopscrew. It was majorly rattling when I visited. And, they could clean up the indoor coaster's queue line Personally, I'm a bit apprehensive about seeing Looney Tunes brought into the park. Aren't there enough goddamn parks with Looney Tunes?? TGE is so unique and quaint and quiet. This just seems like one step closer to flagging the place, and I definitely don't want that. Oh god, what if TGE brings in the "new hip scary" Looney Tunes? -kip-
  17. Craig, was that a "special" brownie? -kip-
  18. You want a Great Adventure tip? Don't go. -kip-
  19. This is the first season of Idol where I'm starting to lose interest. I saw seasons 2 and 3 in their entirety; and I saw the last half of season 1. This season is just so... uninteresting. I'm really not developing any favorites. I think Mikalah and Nadia have the most potential. However, I usually end up leaving the room before the show is over. I think the show is starting to overstay its welcome. Edit: I just checked http://idolonfox.com/contestants/ and saw that my favorite guy got voted off (Judd), and I didn't even know it, I must have changed channels too soon. Oh well. -kip-
  20. PKD axed the Wayne's World theme a few years ago. I thought Carowinds did the same awhile back. -kip-
  21. Just watched the animated video. Has to be the most bizarre rides I've ever seen. For some reason, I thought the car was going to free fall, like a tilted Gyro Drop. Guess not. Awesome! Weird, but awesome. -kip-
  22. Hey everybody! This thread is simple! Rather than having a million little threads about everything that goes on at Six Flags America (SFA), this thread is designed to consolidate it all into one user-friendly thread. Feel free to use it to post updates, trip reports, questions, comments, and of course, general discussion. For pictures and videos of the park as well as past updates, see TPR's Park Index Page. Official Park Website Below are some links to past updates from the park, you may be interested in. 23. Why did the Invertigo sit in-storage, in Greece, for at least a year? I heard Allou Park bought it with intentions of constructing it, but something happened, and they sold it. Anyone know the details? -kip-
  24. Looks like a Fabbri tower. Is that a breast implant in your mouth? -kip-
