^^ You sir are the best new person to come to TPR in a long time... please do tone it down a bit though. -
This is seriously one of my current favorite TR's EVER! Also yes, Goliath in the rain was BRUTALLY awesome, especially in the very back seat where we were. This is my favorite quote from my friend all night on Goliath. "AIRTI...OMG MY EYES...F*&%#$^ RAIN!!!!" An awesome time was had by all! Also I am assuming the trims are there for the reasons previously mentioned as well... the forces exerted on the pretzel in the back are insane and they ALMOST make me black out... soo close, but it never quite gets me. I do, however, begin to gray out a bit.

WDW Magic Kingdom vs. Disneyland Questions
the ghost replied to OISU8P's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
VERY WELL SAID. Unlike Robb the small size of Disneyland is what I love about it. Disneyland feels, to me, more like a Dollywood or something like that, a park that is not part of a chain. It is modest in size, and I feel like Walt put so much work into it and everything was kind of an experiment. Magic Kingdom feels more "corporate" to me... as if they saw that they had Disneyland down to a science and just said "lets make it bigger." The love and details aren't there like they are at Disneyland... it's missing the "Walt." -

www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_184928408218725 Oh the irony. Seriously though... join and get all others... even non tpr friends, to join and email. This is my new 2011 resolution, and I am damn adamant. "The most ironic facebook group EVER! A facebook group about someone needing a facebook. Remember... our mission is to get Dan on facebook ASAP. Also email him and post your emails here. This is a vital mission and must be achieved as soon as possible. mrt0ad13@aol.com This email represents the most important part of the whole group. Email and post your emails here... hell, we'll do emails of the day or something like that. Join... get your non TPR friends to join... get your grandmother to join, get your dogs facebook page to join as all of those people(and animals) have a facebook and Dan does not. Lets make it happen people! " JOIN NOW!!! Still post here of course, but spread the word as Dan must be the only person on earth to not have a facebook. Also if possible I would love the email Dan animation thing to be the groups logo, but if not thats cool. SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!!!!

I'd like to apologize to Gertrude on behalf of all ghost everywhere... they chased me... they're brethren, away as well... the assholes. Anyway, it was good meeting you guys, despite not really introducing myself. I was the guy at the end of the day wearing a yellow rain coat trying to figure out what was going on with ERT. -

I still like zero g rolls the best by far. I love how they're kinda floaty and it's almost "airtime" but not really. Also I like how they are all relatively different, for example scream and silver bullets zero gs= while BTRs= yet they are the same element. Then comes airtime hills... although this may sorta change as I am loving the "transitions" on green lantern and would be amazed if the airtime on these wasn't excellent... especially the awesome part into the break eun where you go vertical... that to me looks like mad uoside down ejector air. Lastly is the pretzel loop, which I love... but if it lasted longer I would likely black out. Also, not to diss the classics I am a fan of vertical loops and corkscrews on companies that can do them right... so no arrow and no vekoma here.

MiceChat's Gumball Rally at Disneyland!
the ghost replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I wish they didn't do this event on a Saturday, or chose a different Saturday. I am a deluxe AP holder and go to Disneyland all the time, but because of this I can't really justify paying for a days admission on top of the pass. I mean, I understand that they need weekend dates, which would probably mean that the So Cal passes would have to pay, but I have the second highest pass. Sorry if this comes off as a rant, but if the day ever changed I am 100% down to compete as this sounds like an awesome time... just not awesome enough to justify paying 100$ after already buying a nearly 300$ annual pass. -
Jesus Christ! That thing looked like it was hauling... so much so that the kids were screaming throughout the ride like it was a coaster. I sort of wish there was off ride footage or something so I could put it in perspective of how fast it was actually going, but that pov made it look dangerously fast. I've said it before and I'll say it again as much as I dont like saying it, but I dont really trust fair rides. Sure... I'll ride the flats and things like that that seem safe and are generally pretty accident free, but there are tons of things at fairs I simply will not do, and this is why. It's not like a theme park or something... fairs already have a relatively "bad" safety performance, and many fairs do not seem to really regulate fair workers or check fair workers well. Case in point, I have had fair ops who sort of look at my restraint on rides, but dont really seem to be checking it. Anyway, my thoughts and prayers go out to those that were injured as well as all of the familys of the victims.

^^ I was interested from TV trailers, but the actual trailer makes it look generic. Also, from Saw and PAranormal Activity is an AWFUL way to market this... I dont watch saw to get scared... I watched cause its entertaining to see people die in insane ways. I watch paranormal activity to be startled... the 2 are entirely different genres pretty much.

West Coast Bash 2011 Photo Updates!

Ripped off Rocket fricken RULED! I was yelling Wayne's World references when the "headbanger" part of bohemian rhapsody came on for the split second it came on. I heard play that funky music white boy as well as some Yo Gabba Gabba at the end, but as usual I don't really notice the audio on the ride. By the way, I don't even know if it's possible, but TPR quest at the generally much larger SFMM event would be insane... hell... I'd gladly do quest at both days. I like something like Quest a lot more than the GIANT SFMM scavenger hunt, cause I dont know if I'm just lazy or something, but half way through I end up thrown off by the puzzles and just look for a coaster to ride. Either way that is an INSANE game... I hope it's next year with new items and better than ever, cause if not I've got my shopping list for what to buy. Also... I still want the squishy ball, lol. The Squishy Balls rule... so do double entendres Ghost -
Chadster's Vacation Adventures: Final Edition!
the ghost replied to chadster's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Before all these TRs I was not aware we were able to take both tours or I would have gladly done Xcel, but TMLR was a priority, and probably the highlight of my knotts day, only equaling quest and the q&a session. This is a very good TR so far! Also people who haven't get down to a Bash/trip/TPR event. Notice how none of my highlights of the Knott's day included riding? It has nothing to do with not loving riding coasters... I LOVE(like REALLY love) riding coasters, as much as the next person, but we got to tour a log ride built in the 60s, got to... well, I dont know if I'm necessarily at a liberty to say what quest is, and not only got a Q&A session from management, but also got a history lesson as well as a Haunt unveil. Seriously, the most awesome stuff is not always the rides, but the kickassery of the event as a whole. Anyway, the TR is great so far and is a great look at one of the best weekends of my life.
