Anyone ridden all the RMCs yet?
chickenbowl replied to kweiss's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have now ridden 4 RMC coasters. All I can say is that they are all amazing, none are weak, none are bland, these are just my personal preferences, they are all EXCELLENT! 1. Outlaw Run - HOLY BALLS, this coaster is perfect. I've never been on a coaster with better pacing, maybe i305? The coaster feels like it's traveling too fast the entire time, it's SOOO fast! Each element occurs in perfect succession. It's my #1 wood coaster now, even over El Toro! 2. New Texas Giant - Too much airtime? How can I even say that?! This coaster's airtime just doesn't stop, it's fantastic! #2 steel! 3. Iron Rattler - Solid coaster, underrated for sure, the airtime is so strong! It's also the smoothest RMC I've ridden, fantastic ride, #4 steel! 4. Twisted Colossus - Amazing ride, best coaster in CA. So many moments of airtime! The blue sequence under the double down through the zero g is perfection. A little slow overall, especially after riding Outlaw Run. #6 steel! -
I don't get this. If they can take on 4 projects, why couldn't they take on 4 1/2? Cause that would require a whole other team of people working, and November is right during peak construction time on their projects. Don't overestimate the size of RMC as a company. They're expanding, but they're still a pretty small company, without a huge amount of employees. Last I heard, they aren't doing basic retrackings at all anymore. I heard they are focusing on their large projects completely. I'm not sure where November came from. Everything I've heard indicates next year. Apocalypse usually goes down right before spring. IntaMAN claimed Novemeber two pages back. But early spring/ late winter is an even busier time for RMC to do it. I am willing to bet that it will not happen for 2016 at all. It's just an unfounded rumor at this point. It's been spread around the Internet for a while so everybody takes it as fact.

One, is Wildfire actually happening? 2 if it actually is, wouldn't Vekoma be taking care of it being they handle rmc's over seas production? Yes it is, it's been confirmed by both the park manager and RMC. And no, RMC is still doing all design, construction, and manufacturing. The only thing Vekoma is helping RMC with is the business side of the operation in Europe, even the American construction team will be in Sweden.

I keep hearing rumors of people saying that RMC is going to do work in GhostRider next year. I just wanted to say that there's no way that's happening. They already have 4 projects for 2016, that's double any other year for them. I highly doubt they'd have any time to do work on Apocalypse or GhostRider in 2016.

I believe this Dive Coaster track. This is clearly lift track too, you can see the chain track, the places for catwalk, and the very steep incline that the lift will have (judged by the support connector). This looks identical to other Dive Coaster track. It even has the same paint style as Fury with the two-tone underbelly. Cedar Fair is the only company who has two-tone B&Ms. This has GOT to be for Cedar Point. Pictures are from Coaster Studios facebook. -
What is your next park?

That new twisty but looks just as quick as Maverick or iSpeed! That boosted my excitement so much! Best (non-RMC) coaster of 2016!!!! -

Remember how I305 is the best steel coaster ever? 5 years is not a long time, you cannot claim that they've cut off all business with Intamin. It's definitely not plausible they'd go with anybody other than B&M, judging by the last 3 years at Cedar Fair. But you cannot say 0%. I'm sure that despite the 4 modifications, I305 brought in an insane amount of business for KD. -

Wasn't the final tile said to be added to the wall this week? What happened? -

Has anybody checked on the wall lately? The last part should be up this week, right? -
Flashback didn't get scrapped. It was removed at the end of the 2012 season and relocated to Six Flags St. Louis where it opened in 2013 as the Boomerang. And then you proceeded to show a picture of Flashback at Six Flags New England instead of the Boomerang operating at SFOT or SFStl... Fixed. Happy now? I was quick to pull the image from the SFStL thread where they used that image as an illustration of Boomerang's color scheme. White woodie in the background...Boomerang is located in the back near (but not that near) Screaming Eagle. Simple, honest mistake. I'm just pulling your leg. It's all good, man!

Has the last coaster been added to the wall yet? Should be today or tomorrow right?
