  1. Going to CP on a week day will be heaven. There was a PTR that showed the minimal lines for Dragster, MF, and everything...I will have to do that soon.
  2. Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I read alot and got tired. OK, so is there a set date for when you guys are coming to Kings Island? Ex: Cedar Point - August 5th GL - Aug. 6th Kings Island - Aug. 7th Thanks, and really looking foreward to meeting up with you guys!
  3. Well testing wont depend all on the temperature....They just need to make sure the track is clear of the theming that is being setup, and all the electrical work is done the all the LIMs and breaks can be opperating smoothly.
  4. Cool pics. Carowinds was one of the nicer Paramount parks. I hope it still stays the way it was when I went there in 04-05 as far as ride management and cleanliness. KI "Ummm Top Gun kicks major @$$" ManJZ
  5. Wow, really nice pics! This ride is looking really great. I cant wait to see this coaster in action. Oh yea, the new skyline looks awesome!
  6. Good thing I rode it the opening season!
  7. wow...BORG is taller than Top Gun?! TG - 113ft BORG - 115ft. Hmm...this is unusual.....another CF coaster falling apart! Hopefully this is a small problem
  8. ^I dont. They still need to get all the electrical wiring in. It is still pretty cold of there, so I say not for a month or so. And remember, they are still putting up the theming around the ride, there would be a high risk of problems if they send a train through while the theming is being put up.
  9. Man, WDW looks great. We arent even on Spring Break yet! Oh well, I will ge to Disney again sooner or later!
  10. I would try here : http://servicesales.sel.sony.com/ecom/accessories/web/categorySearch.do?operation=subCategorySearch&subCategory=10&category=1&subCategoryName=Chargers&categoryName=Camera/Camcorder If not anything here.......ebay!
  11. LIM coasters dont break down much compared to Intamin Accel coasters. Italian Job at KI is down some of the time, but if it is, it is little periods of time ranging from 10 min to 5 hours. I doubt it will be broken down or closed, dont worry about that!
  12. I agree, they should bring back Alien Encounter. That was the scariest thing I had been on! -sigh-
  13. CEDAR FAIR INCREASES QUARTERLY CASH DISTRIBUTION RATE SANDUSKY, OHIO, March 12, 2007 -- Cedar Fair Entertainment Company (NYSE: FUN), a leader in regional amusement resorts, water parks and active entertainment, today announced an increase in its regular quarterly cash distribution to $0.475 per limited partner unit. On an annualized basis, the Company’s distribution rate will increase from $1.88 (paid over the past four quarters) to $1.90 per unit. The 20th consecutive year of distribution increases will begin with the distribution that will be declared in the second quarter of 2007. Cedar Fair has distributed approximately $1.2 billion, or $24.20 per limited partner unit to investors since it began trading in April of 1987. Cedar Fair is a publicly traded partnership headquartered in Sandusky, Ohio, and one of the largest regional amusement-resort operators in the world. The Partnership owns and operates 12 amusement parks, five outdoor water parks, one indoor water park and six hotels. Amusement parks in the company’s northern region include three in Ohio: Cedar Point, consistently voted “Best Amusement Park in the World” in Amusement Today polls, Kings Island, and Geauga Lake & Wildwater Kingdom; as well as Canada’s Wonderland, near Toronto; Dorney Park, PA; Valleyfair, MN; and Michigan’s Adventure, MI. In the southern region are Kings Dominion, VA; Carowinds, NC; and Worlds of Fun, MO. Western parks in California include: Knott’s Berry Farm; Great America; and Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park, which is managed under contract. Also included in that region is Star Trek: The Experience, a Las Vegas-based interactive adventure. From Their Site^ Does this mean they will give more money to CP, KI, Carowinds, Knotts, ect? Just curious when I saw this under headlines on the site...
  14. So does that mean you ask every park you go to for their permission? The answer is bolded.
  15. Well, there are alot of opinions on coasters. Like on Millennium Force, the one guy that rode over 1,000 rides on Millennium Force said the best seat is in the middle. What I have noticed is you get the best airtime in the very back seat. Also in the back, the overbanks are pretty intense. The front offers excellent views and such, but I didnt find the airtime as intense as the back. On Dragster - Hahahaha....if you would like your eyes gouged out by wind, go for it. LOL On rougher coasters, go for the front
  16. Weekday or weekend? Are you really gonna go on the trip?
  17. Yup! The tickets and processing is to the left of the entrance gates.
  18. Yea.....this is why our school blocked Myspace and Facebook. I hate it....

  20. ^The heartline roll has been done for months. But the canyon work around it looks cool
  21. ^A fun ride. I like those.
  22. And with a few days, the station track is up, along with a shot of the trains!
  23. Like Beast..... And I guess your opinion greatly differs from mine. Meh.
  24. ^And I like it. Vortex - awesome, great ride and no line Top Gun - Insane. No lines. Face/Off - fun ride Firehawk - I liked BORG alot. so I assume I will love this. Adv. exp. - gotta have a well themed mine train. Hella of alot better than a SLC, corkscrew, and an arrow looper. Hell, one of the best?
