  1. I heard the max the line got was about 20minutes long!
  2. ^I really...really wanted to get a ride on Face/Off, the other day; but being a GREAT day with 10 different school trips there, it had a huge line. Maybe next week! As for Viking Fury, I do think they were moving people in and out. Not much interaction, though. Just a clear and you were gone! I definitely will, James! Oh, and maybe a Holiday World trip will be realistic for this summer Did you get a ride of FoF? And did you think it was better than last year? -Zach
  3. Maverick changed hight limit from 48" to 52" Maverick: Roller Coasters: Frontiertown: At Least 52" to ride. http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/park/rides/complete.cfm
  4. ^^^ The Eiffel Tower....brown?! Yea, I'm sure it wouldn't be made fun of every time I see it and look perfectly with the blue sky above it. I think the fountains and the Tower looks great! ^^SOB is still out of the question. I tried to ask some people around the park, but all I got was "Talk to guest relations" But in my opinion, realy June. The track work looks 80% to 100% done. But there are still no trains on the track, so it has to be atleast 3-4 weeks when the trains are on. I am sure there will be a press release with new specs for it aswell when the time comes. ^Yea, I think Firehawk is looking awesome too!
  5. Nitro and Medusa looks great! And so does that masterpiece called El Toro. Ummm...BFMV kicks ass!
  6. ^Yup! It used to be alllll over Top Gun. Over the bill boards, signs...train? I dont think so, but yea. Mmhm... yup....closest shave and stuff...
  7. ^Naahh...that will be Runaway Reptar....Top Gun...will be changed back to Mach3 the ride. Happy Birthday James!!!!
  8. Awesome Trip Report! I am heading to SFKK this summer since it is so close, and I am really happy to hear such great reviews about the rides and staffing! Dollywood is such a beautful park! I agree with you how Thunderhead's first drop is such a surprise for air and smoothness. I think that Dollywood -is- the most friendly park too! I love the south! -Zach "Carowinds, Dollywood, WDW <333 Yup!"
  9. ^Umm...I would say similar theme about the flying and such, but totally different theming....if there is any for the coaster, the area looks great!
  10. Giant blurry pictures. Power Surges look insane!
  11. In addition: -Top Gun's lift hill still has no jerk like last time -Vortex's seems smoother aswell. -Adventure Express' final lift has more lighting, and some neon colors on the guy above the little dip. I kinda like it! Also, the whole 'all aboard for the Express' spiel was playing! -Prices on food and drink are higher every where I see. Last year it was 2.75 (maybe 3.00)for a 24oz bottle of Coke. Now it is 3.00 for a 20oz. Dippin' Dots are up 25 cents. Burger and a 20oz drink is 10.00. Hot dog and drink is almost 7.00! I don't like it at all. And now, thanks to KICentral, all the things I described above are now in pictures. Hooray! X-Base: Experamentational Testing; Flight Training Site the runway Shop/photo place? Pilots enter here! I say there will be testing/already been done Trains in station
  12. About 3.19$ here in Cincinnati. Though that Kroger plus card -10 cents helps abit.
  13. Happy Birthday, man! Enjoy it and open a lot of presents! -Zach
  14. I will have to disagree with you on Mantis. Raptor isn't rough. It has a very bad transition into the brake run.
  15. Oh yea, my camera ran out of batteries. Yea, I was mad. I will be going next week haha, seems I am always going every week with new people!
  16. Wow! You have really out done yourself this time, Robb! Renegade looks awesome! The speed never lets up, and looks like are some major pops of airtime around every smooth twist and turn. Another crazy, twisted, out of control woodie that GCI still proves to kick ass at. -Zach "Yay for backwards POV's!"
  17. ^Hahaha! Well, I will see if it is still as good as it was last time, because I'm headin out right now! More when I come back WOW! What a differance one week makes! Important/Big Changes I notices --Firehawk train ON TRACK in the left side of the station WITH test dummies -Firehawk entrance sign "Test Pilots Enter Here" -"Base-X" Sign by the age and weight game in front of the Flight of Fear walk way. It pointed to FoF and Firehawk -Flight of Fear....sign said, "Coming soon, ON RIDE VIDEOS!" -On FoF walk way there is an airstrip type thing leading to Firehawk -Firehawk's onride photo/gift shop had been painted some (white and black chekered some) --Son of Beast trackwork seems to be finished! You can see the nice new wood with the steel lining on it! Still no trains. -Tolerance of Smoking is up, there were MANY times where people infront of me where smoking, and I had to ask them so stop. I went on.... -Runaway Reptar: Not long of a line, and I hadn't been on it since it was new! Gotta love the helix. -Wild Thornberry's River Adventure: I have been wanting to go on a log flume for a while, and so I did! It was fun and I got mildly wet; drying quickly, though. -Viking Fury: Fun viking ship, small moments of wana be floater airtime! -Adventure Express: about 15 minute wait, still as fun as last time, but there was one MAJOR jerk, and it was kinda cool, kinda painful haha! -Racer (Frwrds): About 15 minute wait, the ops were 10x slower than backwards. The ride itself was awesome! Still great mements of airtime and WAY less rough! It's great! -Vortex: About 15 minute wait. Still running great with an awesome pop of airtime in the back seat! It felt like there was more hang time on the corks. -Flight of Fear: About 45minutes for the full qeue indoors and partially outdoors. My favorite coaster at Kings Island hands down! the launch is great with out the blinding photo I STILL hear this sweet bass intro when the train rolls in, after the futuristic woman's voice telling you to sit up right and blah blah. The final corkscrew could be my most favorite element ever! -Top Gun: About 1/2 hour wait for the front. Provides a great, quick and intense ride with at LEAST 5 moments swinging beyond 90*. LOL! In line, a guy dropped his basketball over the rail into the ravine! LOL! What a dumbass, he probolly spent 15-25$ winning it! LOL! -Drop Zone: The final ride of the day after getting in line 5 minutes before closing. Thanks KI! We waited about 1/2 hour and still my favorite flat of all time ATM. An excellent scare every time, especially with that very nice kick out of your seat on the wait down! The park was really crowded today, mainly because it was a perfect day! Here are some pics from the trip! Lovely Vortex batwing transition shot. That's all for this time, thanks for reading!!!! I found this nice pic. A loop for Derek because he's a nice guy. And becuase I thought Vortex's loops were pretty forcefull today Beware!.....of the huge overflowing 2 hour line.... Mmmm....Arrow goodness. Sounds awesome to me right now For all you Red Hot Chili Pepper's fans Including me Splash! Wild Thornberry's River Adventure, a fun little log flume One train operations make it annoying to try to get a sig shot. Hey it's Patrick! Almost over at about 2-5mph For a 15 min wait, this did not look worth it. Looked really boring until it got the momentum to inch over the hill in the middle Avatar....I will valley some day! the 'SLC In training' a nice fun little vekoma Chick-fil-a. I decieded to go to Nick Universe first for a change today The Eiffel Tower on a nice spring day! Isn't there some law about wearing pants in KI?..... Ah, a nice day for a trip to Kings Island!
  18. wow...I just realized this is in Myrtle Beach -duh- umm....awesome!! I go to Hilton Head, SC every year. Looks like a new stop every year along with Carowinds! I wonder if the seats on the Led coaster will be like Hollywood Dream's. I thought the head rests were shaped/designed perfectly, because it comes up around you head kinda. Almost like an Inatamin Accel coaster's.
  19. ^Thanks! Yea, that's why it is under-appreciated. People think it is too far of a walk back for a short, intense ride. But I don't care, that just makes less of a line when I reach the station! I'll think my question before got lost in the senseless bickering. Last year, there was a jerk when the chain caught the train to pull it up. When I rode it the other day, BOTH times, it was a smooth pull up! There was no jerk, but there is still that part where you slow down abit. Any explinations?
  20. Wow, that's great news! Although it could mean nothing. I HIGHLY doubt they could have fixed the problem already. OMG no what is that on MF's hill?!?! untitled.bmp
  21. Dont you have somthing better to do than heckle a 15 year old on spelling? I'm sure you can contribute to TPR in a better way than this tiny matter. I try to get back on topic and you try to put me down. If you have any other problems with small errors in my spelling, the please PM it. Because I dont need it out here.
  22. Hey, are there seatbelts on Toro and Voyage?
  23. Thank you VERY much! As for those who get stapled in, sucks for you!
  24. ^I get people telling me nice job on here through PM's, the chat room; and offline on messangers. But im not trying to win a popularity contest. On KI topic, why was Slingshot's entry/exit switched?
  25. Led Zeppelin is a he? Grrrr. Try more than one member. Ramble On, young man, Ramble On. Yea, I know it is more than one guy...I know my classic rock. Ramble On is good, but I love No Quarter, Ten Years Gone, Dazed and Confused, and Over the Hills and Far Away. Hopefully the trains will have that Hollywood Dream ride trait where you can select your own tune! That would just be amazing! Oh, and can't forget Whole Lotta Love
