Dammit! S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat runs like absolute crap on my computer! Maybe it's my horrid graphics card (GeForce 3600, if I remember correctly), or maybe the fact that my computer is 3-4 years old, but still, I should at least be able to run it smoothly on Low settings. At least Shadow of Chernobyl runs absolutely beautifully on rather high settings.

Might as well bump this thread up, since there are so many amazing apps that have been released or updated since September. I bought Archetype yesterday, an online FPS for iPhone/iPod Touch. It's actually pretty damn good, the controls are far better than any other shooter on the platform. Too bad the community seems to suck pretty bad, it's full of campers and grenade spammers. Worth a buck, still.

God, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl is HARD. I'm playing on Easy, and I had trouble getting past a battle with an enemy camp with like five people in it. Damn.

Listen, you need to shut up. Stop questioning everything I say, I am the head of Props crew, just do what I tell you. Stop asking questions that I've clearly answered several times or that I know you know the answer to. Stop arguing about the most mundane of things, and then not giving up the fight until you win. Don't. I totally agree with you, haha. On topic, not something I'm really guilty of, but something that would make people think differently of me if they were to find out: I listen to and LOVE the band Mr. Bungle. They're just so bizarre and different, people just don't appreciate it the first time they hear a song. Heck, I despised the first song I heard, but I kept listening to it, now I think it's brilliant.

...Really? They're seriously trying to stir up controversy again? I swear, every day I'm becoming more and more scared that Treyarch is trying to copy the "success" (read: absolute disaster that sold like hotcakes made of boobs) of Modern Warfare 2.

So. I'm in an unofficial long-distance relationship. With that 17-year-old girl I met a camp, mentioned a few pages ago. The reason it's unofficial is that I haven't told my parents about her yet, I'm waiting for the opportunity for them to meet her over Skype, as opposed to me just describing her to them. But we're basically a couple in every other way. And we're both very happy.

Ugh, I really don't like it. It's like the console is trying too hard to be like the Wii, with so much white onscreen and strange menu animations, like how the currently selected tile kinda pops out. I liked the streamlined, dark-colored NXE dashboard much more. Plus, there's so much less onscreen at a time, that's always a minus in my book. The way the tiles faded off into the distance, allowing you to see six or seven at a time (instead of less than four), was perfect. I'm thoroughly disappointed.

So I'm in the process of installing the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. pack right now, just to get in the Halloween spirit. It's on sale on Steam right now, just ten bucks for Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat together.

So this past week I learned that my best friend smokes marijuana. He's sixteen. And all his friends consistently get high every weekend, and are essentially the worst role models you can possibly imagine in every way. I really don't know what to think right now. He's cool, I've never seen him when he's been smoking, but I'm scared for him.

I'm pretty psyched to try out the Halloween update for Team Fortress 2, especially with the Headless Horseless Horseman or whatever it's called.

Well, the amazing, massive mall about 30 minutes from my house, Roseville Galleria, is on fire right now. Apparently some guy (who had done the same to a Wal-Mart earlier that day, apparently) went into GameStop, claimed he had a gun, and forced the employees to lock him inside the store, alone. He lit a fire, left the store, and just let the fire spread. A whole building was ablaze, the specific part of the mall that earns 50% of the sales. Well, damn. Especially because the mall just recently finished a million-dollar renovation.

If it were a wild mouse, or a shuttle coaster, then yeah. Wouldn't it be great to heal the world with only a song?

I actually went to my local Five Guys on Saturday night. And I'm not afraid to say it, I loved it. Because I like my burger with NO vegetables, just the standard condiments, bacon, and A-1. And they didn't laugh at me, so this place wins. Better patty, variety and flavor than In-n-Out, but their fries were very underwhelming.

Okay, I'm sorry if somebody's already brought this up, but I'm too lazy to read like 20 pages of this. With the Superman: The Escape revamp, with the backwards cars, I'm seeing two major problems, with the launch and the stop. The launch, you'd be thrown forward, wouldn't you? I've never been on the ride normally, so I can't tell you how much it pushes you into the back of your seat. But backwards, that would just be uncomfortable. Same thing with the brakes. Going from 100 mph to a complete stop with just lap bars would be extremely uncomfortable, in my mind. Is there anyone else that's worried about this, or could shed some light about the rides that I'm not mentioning?

Why, oh why, must there be a slight pause in the song or video of so many music videos on Youtube? All it does is make the audio/video off sync, thus making the viewer enjoy it less. It does no good at all.

Well that was just wrong. I was listening to my iPod on shuffle. I put on Fiction by Avenged Sevenfold, a beautiful piano melody that has The Rev on drums and singing, one of the last songs he ever recorded. I see what you did there. I've still got the same green Patech Matrix that I've had for almost two years now. About 6 months ago, however, it fell off my leg while I was on the computer, the poor phone landed screen-first on the corner of the tray my printer is on. There was a gaping crack in the screen for about 5 months, but my parents finally ordered a new screen as a surprise for me. Now my phone is as good as new.

I heard they're releasing them in chronological order, once a year, as well. That means in 2012, they'll release Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. Then, a year later, Attack of the Clones. Which means it'll be 2015 before they release the original trilogy, and 2017 when they complete it. I don't know about you guys, but that's the single most disappointing thing I've heard in a long time.
