  3. Yes, Ice does have a longer straightaway than Fire... fire has to finish coming out of the Wraparound Immelman. But anyways, I vote fire. In the back (Towards the end of the day) you do get a little floater air on the "Air Hill". But what wins it over for me is the overall Intensity of Fire... the Wraparound Immelman is INCREDIBLE! Especially in the back.
  4. HAHA, I see my last post in that picture you took. I dunno why I found that amusing...
  5. Man, people are idiots. "OMG! The ride slowly stopped and I got a cut eye! AHHH!" ... wow ...
  6. Hey! Send me a promo! Lol. While you're at it, send me tix to the show too! Lol j/k... I'll just pay you guys the $8 or however much it is.
  7. Actually just listened to your song "Though the Glass"... Very good! I think it'd sound a lot better if it wern't though my computer speakers. Hey! I just checked out your Myspace.. I'll try my best to make it to the show at The Backbooth! Just got back actually from the Mindless Self Indulgence concert... that was insane!
  8. I think I should actualy go to one of your shows. I've heard of Holotype playing shows around here (I believe) but never actually went. I live in Orlando so I would be happy to check you guys out live Maybe Orlando will release another great metal band (The other being Trivium)
  9. It was on America's Funniest Home Videos or something like that... I guess he hit the water and his feet flew into the air, he got turned sideways somehow, and became perfectly ballanced on the side of the slide until the end.
  10. Lol at the cake. I dunno if the game will go for any less than $40 (The one including the Guitar)... the guitar itself costs $40. DDR costs around $50 if you get the one that includes the really craptastic pad, so I don't see why $70 is a big deal. After you buy that DDR bundle you're still spending $30 or $40 per game title (DDR Max, DDR Max2, etc...) Guitar Hero 2 will be sold in a bundle for $70 and the game will be sold by itself for around $30 or $40 (I'm guessing $40 because In The Groove [Produced also by Red Octane] sells for that much on its own).
  11. No... Now it's coastery enough! Lol Wee!
  12. Does anybody have the game Guitar Hero for the PS2? I've seen it around for a while now and finally decided to pick it up for myself yesterday, in my opinion, it's great! Think of Dance Dance Revolution... but with a guitar. I started on Medium and have beaten all the Medium level. I can pass most of the songs on Hard and a few on Expert as well. Here's the songlist for the game: Motorhead - "Ace of Spades" Ozzie Osbourne - "Bark at the Moon" Audioslave - "Cochise" Pantera - "Cowboys From Hell" Cream - "Crossroads" Sum 41 - "Fat Lip" Edgar Winter Group - "Frankenstein" Blue Oyster Cult - "Godzilla" Burning Brides - "Heart Full of Black" The Exies - "Hey You" Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Higher Ground" Joann Jett - "I Love Rock and Roll" The Ramones - "I Wanna Be Sedated" Bad Religion - "Infected" Black Sabbath - "Iron Man" Queen - "Killer Queen" Boston - "More Than A Feeling" Queens of the Stone Age - "No One Knows" ZZ Top - "Sharp Dressed Man" Deep Purple - "Smoke on the Water" Jimi Hendrix - "Spanish Castle Magic" Incubus - "Stellar" Megadeth - "Symphony of Destruction" The Donnas - "Take It Off" Franz Ferdinand - "Take Me Out" Stevie Ray Vaughn - "Texas Flood" White Zombie - "Thunderkiss 65" Helmet - "Unsung" Judas Priest - "You Got Another Thing Comin" David Bowie - "Ziggy Stardust" In addition, there are 17 unlockable tracks from Indie Rock bands, which include: Acro-Brats - "Call Out" Anarchy Club - "Behind the Mask" Artillery - "The Breaking Wheel" Black Label Society - "Fire It Up" Count Zero - "Sail Your Ship By" Din - "Fly on the Wall" Drist - "Decontrol" Freezepop - "Get Ready 2 Rock" Graveyard BBQ - "Cheat on the Church" Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives - "Hey" Made in Mexico - "Farewell Myth" Monkey Steal the Peach - "Theme from Guitar Hero" The Bags - "Caveman Rejoice" The Model Sons - "The Story of my Love" The Slip - "Even Rats" The Upper Crust - "Eureka! I Found Love" Shaimus - "All of This" The Guitar controller consists of five buttons on the neck of the guitar (Green, Red, Yellow, Blue and Orange), the "Strummer" and even a whammy bar. I don't know if it's only in the Orlando area, but Best Buy has it out for people to try it. Guitar Hero 2 is scheduled to release in November. So far the tracks that were confirmed at E3 are: Van Halen - "You Really Got Me" KISS - "Strutter" Butthole Surfers - "Who Was in my Room Last Night?" Black Sabbath - "Warpigs" Drist - "Arterial Black" Reverand Horton Heat - "Psychobilly Freakout" Rush - "YYZ" Primus - "John the Fisherman" I can't wait!
  13. I have to agree with a few people on here about Bombay at Wet 'n' Wild in Orlando. The first time I went on it the attendent said "Make sure you're behind the red line"... so naturally I looked down. As I did she dropped the floor... the only thing you heard from me on the way down was a few choice curse words towards the attendent. Overall it's a great ride and I've done it many times since. Also, at Adventure Island (Busch Gardens Africa's water park) they have a ride called "Everglides" You climb the stairs and grab this little yellow plastic raft that you sit on. You place it on a horizontal platform that has "Rollers" on them. You inch yourself forward and hold onto the handlebars on the side of the yellow raft. The attendent presses a button and the platform tilts forward to about 45°... you fly down the slide, level out and skip across a pool of 3ft deep water... sort of like a stone skipping across the water. It's really fun. Thanks to Theme Park Review for these photos Their new ride, "Riptide", is fun as well. It's a waterslide composed of 4 slides. You grab your raft and go down the slide on your stomach. The first two slides go into a helix towards the left, and the last two go into a helix towards the right. The helixes are enclosed... they all meet up in the middle and then the slides aren't enclosed anymore... you then go down a double dip (Racing your friends or strangers) and level out and come to a stop. Thanks to Adventureisland.com for this pic... even though it's a crappy pic Oh, also the one in my sig
  14. Muse - Map of the Problematique (Off their new CD, "Black Holes and Revelations", releasing 07/11/06... buy it or die!) Fear and panic in the air I want to be free From desolation and despair And I feel Like everything I stole Is being swept away Well, I refuse to let you go I can't get it right... since I met you This is the Map of the Problematique Life will flash before my eyes So scattered and lost I want to touch the other side And the world Thinks they are to blame Why can't we see When we bleed, we bleed the same I can't get it right... since I met you This is the Map of the Problematique... Muse - Starlight (Also from their new CD) Far away, this ship is taking me far away Far away from the memories Of the people who care if I live or die The starlight, I will be chasing the starlight Until the end of my life I don't know if it's worth it anymore Hold you in my arms I just wanted to hold you in my arms My life, you electrify my life Lets conspire to ignite All the souls that will die just to feel alive I'll never let you go If you promise not to fade away Never fade away And our hopes and expectations, Black holes and revelations (x2) Hold you in my arms I just wanted to hold you in my arms Far away, this ship is taking me far away Far away from these memories Of the people who care if I live or die I'll never let you go If you promise not to fade away Never fade away And our hopes and expectations, Black holes and revelations (x2) Hold you in my arms I just wanted to hold you in my arms I just wanted to hold...
  15. Depends on how you look at it.. If you put personal information on it (Like your full name, phone number, address, etc) then yes, you're and idiot and could be in danger. I have a myspace but I don't ever fill out those stupid surveys that ask your your name, address, or phone number or any of those things. I just use mine for a blog site and to put things up that I find amusing around the net.
  16. Muse - Map of the problematique Their new CD ROCKS! Get it when it releases... I sure as hell am going to buy it!
  17. LOL! Final Destination 3! "OMG! The roller coaster is gonna crash!"
  18. The coasters that I can think of that have an abrupt stop are: Mummy at USF (Fake ending) Cheetah Chase (Before the turn to the "Big drop") Deja Vu (On the Vertical Spike) Python @ BGA (Ending Breaks before station) GASM @ SFoG (End Breaks) Ninja @ SFoG (1st set of breaks) Scorpion @ BGA (Station stop) Kumba @ BGA (First set of end breaks after helix) Dueling Dragons Both (End Breaks before exit platform) Those are the only ones I can think that have harsh break runs...
  19. As always, funny stuff! Oh... and here's Paul Ruben... ... In all his nasty glory ...
  20. Best days for BGA are Tuesday, wednesday or Thursday... SheiKra will never get above a 15min line, so don't worry... but then again, schools are out down here and a lot of people are on vacation. For me Busch Gardens is better than Islands of Adventure... more Quality rides... and I'd assume that CP would be less crowded on a Monday since it's a weekday.
  21. ... once again sue Vekoma for all that they're worth, but all they got out of it was a measily $2, with which they...
  22. Yes, and on busy days it alternates for each boat.. one boat goes down one side, the next boat goes down the other.
  23. Yes, you only go down the drop once, and yes, there is only one lift hill for both drops
  24. It's all one ride... There is only one loading platform and one track throughout the ride until you get to the main drop. When you're heading towards the drop (On a busy day) there is a switch track (Sort of like S:UF)... one train goes down one drop.. then the track switches, and the next one goes down the other side... at the exit platform there are two sides, but after you get off, the tracks merge into one again. Also, no, they don't race eachother... the tracks are to close together and you'd actually be able to grab the other rider's arms. If one train were to go faster than the other and guests were holding arms, someone could get ripped out of the log... that wouldn't be good
