I do agree to some extent. CP is really full of themselves when it comes to their coaster collection. Their coaster rankings have been dropping farther down the polls as every year passes by. But we have to remember that many of the coasters are old and Cedar Point is kinda like the timeline of the coaster industry, showcasing the old and new, crappy and good investments. That wasn't a flame, by any means. ______ Cedar Fair has been shoving ride after ride and coaster after coaster into Cedar Point, while other parks are being neglected. I can't help but wonder what will become of the three major Ohio parks that CF owns. They virtually have no competition in the area anymore so I wouldn't be surprised if they started slacking off. Kings Island needs a GOOD, modern coaster made a by a reliable company like Intamin or B&M. I thought the park was nice but it lacked in real modern thrills. And PLEASE, not another woodie or Vekoma! Although I am excited to ride X-Flight, since it will be my first 'real' flyer, I don't believe this is a good adition to the park. From what I hear it has terrible capacity and that is not what Kings Island needs. When you have long lines you have guests getting bored and tired, when you have guests getting bored and tired they become angry at everything, when people become angry at everything and are tired, they enjoy the park less and then the park gives itself a bad reputation. Oh yeah, and I can't wait for the wonderful Cedar Fair trashcan invasion, beautiful concrete paths and awe-inspiring themed lands to come to the former Paramount Parks in the future! BTW, I smell a PKI fanboy in this thread....

I hope it's open in August, since I'm probably going to Kings Island again around that time.

Although I don't believe in "ghosts", I do find the stories interesting to read and the movies and TV shows about ghosts fun to wach. Although, some stories definitely creep me out, it all depends on how it is told.... I really think the stories about Kings Island are the creepiest, mainly because it's a park I've actually been to that has ghost stories. And what creeps me out the most are the stories about the Beast, it's in the the perfect location for any ghost because it is in the forest, and if you ride it when crowds are low and you have to walk through the queue by yourself, it feels really...odd.

Actually there were a few news segments on local radio stations and TV stations about the incident, but thats about it. She completely embarrassed our entire school and school board, though.

Police have concluded that this never happened and the girl lied. Police won't be charging her and is leaving her punishment up to the school board. Apparently she lied about being assaulted because there were alot of bad things going on in her life.

Due to exams, I have next Thursday off, along with Wednesday, Thurday and Friday the week after. Life is good. Although...I do have a 25 minute Power Point presentation to do in geography tomorow...

Hotel Breakers is an awesome place to stay. It may be a bit on the expensive side for the kind of room you get, but the proximity to Cedar Point, Soak City, Challenge Park and the beach make it well worth it, especially if you are staying more than a couple of days. The only "bad" thing I could say about the hotel is if (for whatever reason) you decide to leave the resort you have to drive basically all the way around the the perimeter of the park. Unless of course there was another road that I didn't see when I went in the summer... There isn't much else to do in Sandusky. Cedar Point literally makes this town what it is. Even on the welcome sign for Sandusky it says: "Welcome to Sandusky. Population: . America's roller coast!" Shopping around CP is kinda 'meh' but there are some 'decent' dining options around. But if it turns it isn't affordable, Breakers Express is slightly cheaper than the other CP hotels. It's not on site but you get all the other perks that the other hotels get, such as early entry. The Breakers Express is about a 5 minute drive to the park, and best of all, there's a McDonald's across the street! There are also some smaller, cheaper hotels in Sandusky, but alot of them are ghetto and scary looking. I went last July on a Tuesday and the crowds weren't that bad. MF and TTD only had a 1 hour wait and everything else was about 20 minutes. The crowds might be worse this year due to Maverick, though. I hope all goes well and you can make it to CP this summer.
