  3. Hey everybody! This thread is simple! Rather than having a million little threads about everything that goes on at Alabama Adventure, this thread is designed to consolidate it all into one user-friendly thread. Feel free to use it to post updates, trip reports, questions, comments, and of course, general discussion. For pictures and videos of the park as well as past updates, see TPR's Park Index Page. Official Park Website Below are some links to past updates from the park, you may be interested in. Kinda interesting. RIP
  4. I will defend him and say that it has been posted for a while on a lot of the promo material that they were going to merge to 2 tribes after the 2nd episode. My question is will they actually show if someone finds the hidden idol? And is there more than one on the island?
  5. ^Yes they voted off the annoying woman, but she was also the only one who knew anything..LOL I enjoyed the first show. Exile Island is pretty cool. I also like the new twsit with the Immunity. It was needed. The guy who quit smoking just before the show is an idiot, and needs to go..IMO...I wanted to smack him.But otherwise I enjoyed the first episode
  6. Seems this version may be a bit more exciting this time around? Anyone planning on watching it tonight?
  7. Its just nice to have a place to post, about topics I enjoy, and have normal adult converation. With the recent re-enforcement of the rules, it just again proves why I enjoy this site so much.
  8. Got to see Underworld:Evolution I enjoyed it. I like the first one well enough and figured the second one would be a good story. I was abit confused at first, but once they explained a few things, I knew what the heck was going on. Best part of the movie experience for me was we saw the movie in a theater that charges an extra $2 to see it in a 21 and up theater. It has leather seats, and unlimited refills on small popcorn and also a bar. It was a very awesome experience, one we will do again.
  9. As long as I can still watch my damn Smallville and Smackdown, I could care less... Does anyone even watch WB anymore...I only watch it for Smallville.
  10. Recently...at Cypress Gardens...we were getting on the pirate ship...as soon as it started swinging...a bunch of kids yelled SCREAMING CONTEST!!!! The ENTIRE ride, they screamed. Had to stick my fingers in my ears to try and drown it out, and that didnt work. My ears rung for almost an hour.
  11. Taco Hell as we call it at work Arbys KFC Local Chicken joint Zaxby's Mc Donalds
  12. Which one is the Tampa Typhoon... I hardly ever go to AI...to many prostitots and fatties in tight suits...
  13. I cant stand that annoying high pitch, blood curdling scream...thats what gets me... I am not one to scream...I am more of a woohoo'er...LOL
  14. I am in absolute agreement with you Robb...I dont understand why so many people are bashing it. I have been on it so many time's with "1st timers" and that actually makes me enjoy it all the more. I also agree its not #1 E-ticket but it is a fav of mine. The fact I can usually walk on at any time is also a bonus. I like Test Track, but honestly, its not all that great either. I do most of that stuff just driving to work sometimes...LOL.
  15. I am really hoping to try and squeeze in Knoebel's also. We are going to try to get a evening flight into Pittsburgh on a Thursday, then drive over toward the Philly area. We will have a whole Friday free. Besides eating Geno's steaks, we really have no big plan yet. Trying to talk DH into making the quick trip Knoebel's, or even taking the plunge, and going straight on to SGA. Its been so long, and El Toro will be calling. We just need to be back in Philly for Sat morning for a wedding.
  16. Ok, planning has begun for my upcoming summer road trip. Hubby and I have a wedding to go to in Philly and we plan to fly into Pittsburgh and do a massive amount of driving across the great state of PA. We already have plans to go to Cedar Point and Geuaga Lake, but are trying to see if we can work in Kennywood since we will be in Pittsburgh area to fly home. So my question. Is it doable in a day? This will be around June 30th or so. Also what other parks, are near Pittsburgh? We went to Hershey last year, so not really want to go there again...how far away is Knoebels? Thanks gang!
  17. Mission Space I think was a bit more intense when it first opened. I think over the last year or 2, it has toned down a bit. I still enjoy the ride quite a bit, and I also find the wonderful host of the ride kinda hot...LOL
  18. I love that cute little tail...LOL... He is still a pup...Has he been running around a lot? Mine used to run around for about 2 hrs then sleep, then run around again...
  19. Yes, numerous times Have you ever thrown up in public?
  20. Wally that is one good looking pup you got there... How old is he again? Only sage advise I can give you...set yourselves up as leaders now. That also means Gavin. He has to learn that he is below Gavin in your "pack". Dont want to sound like a dog geek, but I have a house full of pugs..LOL and belive it or not, you learn a lot about the pack dynamic when you have that many. Teach your son to give Buddy some basic commands. It will help as they both get older.. He is one handsome creature though...look forward to more pics of him
  21. Yes, twice a year. Have you ever been so drunk, you forgot a whole day?
  22. Saw Hostel with my hubby...WOW... Gave me nightmares...LOL Very good horror flick. Made me cringe more than once. I am not into the whole torture thing...so I was definatly not in my element, but I did enjoy the movie.
  23. That was very cool.... Just proves that we have 2 very cool people who run this board.. Great job on the new smilies BTW...they are beginning to grow on me and I like them a lot.
  24. There is a Whatburger here in Lakeland too...have yet to try it....not sure if its worth it...
  25. I am sure fighting that nasty wind we are having today here in Central FL was great.. Glad you had a great time in the park...Happy Birthday
