I understand what your saying, but it really looks bad for the park, my GP friends can even tell that they arent showing Afterburn in our commerical, they dont know what it is of course... but they can tell. Same goes for SoB.

Figures The buddah like thing was rather neat when I rode it last year.

^ never knew that. while I always knew it existed, I swear it is bigger than it was last year. What especially convinces me of this is all the brand new wood at just that section of the ride.

I have also noticed this hole in goldrusher, it is the perfect size for either a hyper or an intamin. Also, on the other side of the hole, there is a decent sized plot of land that could be utilized nicely.

I know you were saying they took out the theming to the showroom for the most part, but do they still have the theming in the room the ride is located in?

yes, but it doesnt interfere ALL that much with learning, the students are still in class, and they are still learning the subject matter. They are simply not talking

^ the park is pretty much always crowded, at least from my experience and what I've heard. The flash pass works by "waiting" in line for you. Basically, you go to a ride you want to ride and scan your flash pass at the indicated box. This will reserve your spot in line, and you can go enjoy a show, or eat, or ride other rides while your flash pass waits in line for you. Once its time your flash pass will vibrate and ring, alerting you that your turn to ride has come. You can then ride from that point, until the next hour. (only once, but within that time period) Then you ride. While your flashpass is waiting in line for you, you can scan other rides and once you ride the current ride, it will automatically enter the queue for the next ride you had scanned.

^^ I believe its more than just younger riders.... Ive heard people complaining of crotch pain at vortex at carowinds, If you ride properly, you wont recieve any pain at all, and I have even ridden it with my feet barely touching the floor, still havent gotten any pain... For the crypt, i never felt any pain, a little discomfort one of the times they held you upside down, but it wasnt bad.

Glad to hear that you had a good time and a good TR report for your first. However, maybe next time you will get the chance to get to carowinds, (maybe it wont rain )

Looks like a pretty fun coaster! I'm really liking the misted tunnel, adds a nice effect.

I hope he did too, simply because its bad for you. However that has nothing to do with the incident, itjust so happens to be that he was in the elevator when it stopped functioning. It could have happened to anyone really.

Me and a few friends did that too, but it was against the rules and we got in trouble for deffiance when we wouldn't take them off. =/ Thats just not right... the school is essentially taking away your freedom of expression. The kids who dont want to be bullied, as someone had mentioned above. if they were that afraid, then they just shouldn't wear the tape, and there were ( at least at my school) a large amount of strait people who were supporting also. People who dont understand that no two people are alike... I honestly dont understand how they can't grasp the concept that there is no normal. The only really "normal" trait among humans is having opposable thumbs, 2 legs, 2 arms, ect.
