I've just returned home from an awesome vacation visit to Savannah, Georgia (no coasters there sadly, but we did pass by SFOG), so sorry for just now seeing your CP postcards Shane. Thanks for posting these great cards! Oh and yes it is a little embarrassing to have never been to IOA. I think that's going to have to be remedied very soon! -

The Santa Monica Pier and Pacific Park have been used in tons of television commercials. It seems like not a year goes by that I don't see the two featured on TV in some form or another. It's a fun little place good for a few hours visit to hang out and soak up that California beach air. This view shows the very Japanese like (in my opinion) Westcoaster by Morgan and the former Ferris wheel before it was replaced recently. We can live beside the ocean leave the fire behind... Swim out past the breakers watch the world die. -

^ What a cool idea! The new Gothenburg wheel looks great. Since I know how much you love wheels, I'm sure you'll be first in line. -

Great photos/update Peter! Is the Spökbaren Gasten an actual bar serving drinks or a walk through type of attraction? Either way it sounds interesting! -

Those are great postcards Shane. I really need to get back to the Orlando area considering it's been over 20 years, and IOA wasn't even built yet! -
^^^ Robb I knew you'd catch that.

From one lake park to another, this week Indiana Beach is my featured postcard. It's been about 6 years since I visited IB, but back then the park sure was cool. I spent a whole day here and never got bored. It's not a big park, but it's jam packed with lots of fun stuff to do including some great (and quirky) coasters! Check out this aerial view of the park - pre Cornball. Hello there Mr. IB Crow. I love this place! -

Enough with the corporate park world - I now bring the love and focus back to the southeastern US and feature a great little indie park...Lake Winnepesaukah. It's been a few years since I've been to the park, but every visit I've ever had here has always been good. In my opinion, Lake Winnie has charm, thrills, and some odd uniqueness (Fly-O-Planes anyone?) all wrapped into one. I can't believe I haven't featured LW until now, so here you have it! Beware...MEGA PIRANHAS in the lake!!! Apparently Lake Winnie has moved from Georgia! -

GREAT TR!!! I would LOVE to attend this show. Thank you so much for sharing the photos and trip report! Oh and by the way, I know it's a long shot, but have you ever seen a neon Atari sign for sale at any of these conventions? I'd love to get one for my home game room but so far the web is not helping me find one. I'm looking forward to your part 2 of this report.

I have an acquaintance friend of a friend who has both of those tables in his home arcade! Has anyone been to check out the pinball exhibit at the San Francisco airport? It's supposed to be amazing! http://www.sfoarts.org/exhibits/current.html

I don't think anyone has mentioned Intimidator having the B&M rumble/shake found on some of their coasters. Is it non-existent on Intimidator? -

It's time to conclude the Disney month series here at the Paradise - sorry Hot Fuzz...I know you're sad. Have no fear, there'll probably be another one in the future! To conclude, here's a retro look back at the Tomorrowland section of Disneyland. Blue Doom Buggies. IKEA! I had always thought that the Matterhorn Bobsleds were in Fantasyland. I guess I was wrong! Did the stage rise up from the underground? -

^^^ I really didn't even notice Rocket Rods was on that Tomorrowland card til you pointed it out Shane. Wish I'd experienced them. ^^Epic postcards! I had no idea that Walygator had formerly been a different park. From your Attic thread, it looks like it had a good bit of potential when it was Big Bang Smurf, but it felt so lifeless during the TPR Europe trip 2 years ago. It'll be interesting to see what Orochi does for it.
