  1. ^I can't help but burst out laughing every time I see that^ Anyway... Iron Dragon - Both manufactured by Arrow - Both in Ohio - Both Suspended/Swinging coasters
  2. I hate stupid people. That basically sums it up....
  3. ^Yep....I believe that's right. Didn't even remember that, even though I rode it twice. People seem to think I'm speaking of a Dodonpa-esque launch in reverse...which would probably snap your neck. Anyway, thanks for the reply. Yeah, after my post over there I got stuff like: - "They would have to like...staple your head to the seat to do a backwards launch" - "The g-forces would be too high. It would probably cause too many injuries" - "You've lost your mind" - And my personal favorite, "Your a !@#$ing moron" [note the grammar] Am I the only one who thinks that mass banning/locking is in order over there? :edit: I hate being on a new page....
  4. I posted a similar idea on Point Buzz involving a mid-course transfer track. The train would pull up onto it [as an MCBR of sorts], transfer, and launch in the other direction onto the new track, travel backwards for a bit, and then transfer/launch again with the train facing forward this time. I mentioned the signs and the infamous "bike rack track" as well. Anyway, the reactions I got were pretty funny, but no one took anything seriously. Am I the only one that thinks this would be feasible, or is it just the fact that PointBuzz has become a complete mess? Let me get some feedback on this...
  5. I would have to say launches in general. But specifically, - Last seat of Laser at Dorney = near-blackout - Phantom's Revenge after the second drop - The vertical loop on DD at IOA, but it's only good from the front seat
  6. No, MF is by far better. Food does not even begin to compare!! Have you been on it in the past week?
  7. It makes sense that the rockets/stratas roll back early in the morning, or when its cold, etc. Oil thickens as it gets colder, so it's harder to cram through a turbine at a bajillion psi when it's not warmed up. And, yes, Storm Runner rolls back. Not often, but it does. [i was on it] My original post is at the top of page 2. Everyone seemed to ignore it.
  8. I was in the front seat and it rolled back. Pretty freakin' cool, I must say. So yes, it does happen. Those hobos must have been on break or something
  9. Probably Dominator at Dorney, mainly because it has a habit of stealing my shoes during the launch. A close second with Demon Drop at CP
  10. Immelman pulls a close third for me, just beating the vertical loop... Second would have to be the heartline loop on the Vekoma SLCs [Am I the only one who likes them??] And first, the flying snake dive!
  11. I hate when I forget to express my joking manner when I write otherwise offensive material and submit it into a forum, only to be made into a total ass by someone who took what I said seriously!
  12. ^Hah^ You should see some of the crap that's flying around over at pointbuzz.com. It should be illegalized, honestly.....This is about all I'm getting from over there: Enough said, I suppose. My two cents? It's a roller coaster It's an Intamin It's red It's NOT going to be 500 ft tall, among other things.... The announcement is supposedly in August....so be patient!
  13. I'd Say Skull Mountain at SFGAdv is a big disappointment....there is absolutely no theming once you leave the station. No skulls. No mountain. Darkness. And the occasional support. Maybe a catwalk here and there? Great theming!
  14. Mine would have to be the flying snake dive And for those of you who read that and went WTF?!?, here's a picture from our friends at RCDB: Flying Snake Dive
  15. No. Diet soda always has that strange but addictive cancer-causing sweetness, unlike the usual not-so-addictive but diabetes-causing sweetness. We're screwed either way, aren't we? Have you seen Trainspotting?
  16. Storm Runner Both: - Are Intamins - Have a hydro launch - Have a "top hat" - Have downward-sloping magnetic brake runs - Have 5 cars per train - Have 90 degree drops - Have the same OTSRs - Have double stations - Are too damn short [is it just me, or is this running in a circle??]
  17. Just finished: Chop Suey by System of a Down Now: Kill Rock'n'Roll by System of a Down Next: Snow by Red Hot Chili Peppers
  18. Travis agrees^
  19. ^right on^ We've got the same crap here in the Lehigh Valley. Not that it's surprising, considering the average IQ in this area. It's old people...who probably have Alzheimer's and forget that summer is....well.....hot. Damn those old people... And now for my rant: I HATE HEAT [although current room temp = 58 degrees = ] And old people who can't be bothered with those newfangled "air conditioners"
  20. Stay tuned for an important notice: Though it is really gratiutude, for a regular inspections to decide as the electric businesses law.
