  1. Ok, what's the deal with everyone having horrid photos of me! In all seriousness, I'm having way too much fun in David's lap. Apparently I didn't fall cause um, I have my blanket on us.
  2. ^At least you didn't have to suffer through his Boulderdash comment and then later follow-up like Jenn and I did. ::Shudders:: Oh and somehow I need to organize all my photos in facebook and then tag everyone. This is going to take a while!
  3. ^It wasn't being scared to walk around. It was the staff almost running us over in the golf carts. Oh and some people receiving threats from using the Flashpasses. I'll say the evil golf cart people almost ran me over at least 5 times. Anyone that was there can confirm that. Plus when they would weave in and out of people, they kept losing stuff on their cart. Between that and the ride ops encouraging people to boo us for using Flashpasses, I'd say that the park was pretty bad. Edit: Oh wait, being run over would make me scared to walk around.
  4. Ben! I can't wait to see your updates! Another amazing PTR to follow to pass time at work.
  5. Ok so some thoughts on the East Coast tour. 1 - I love love love the "mom and pop" parks vs the corporate run parks. The only exception was Busch Gardens as the scenery there was amazing! 2 - Therapy is needed after these trips. Seriously, become close to friends and then having them ripped away sucks. Thankfully, only a few short months till I see some of them again. 3 - If you see Tony, be sure you are being video taped. Seriously, 4 of us on the bus were having a personal convo to only find a video tape hiding away right on us! 4 - If you can't hold your bladder, please don't do a trip or get a prescription. Seriously, we had one person that used the bathroom as we pulled up the park with a restroom only 200 feet away. 5 - Don't make your roommate angry or they may not wake up you up for the bus. 6 - Cherish every freaking moment you have. You meet some amazing freaking people on these trips!
  6. Yeah, so I'm going to say it again. Coney Island Cyclone in the back row! That was the most painful experience on my family jewels! I almost cried on Brent's shoulder during that ride.
  7. ::Gasp:: We must meet up to ride it. I freaking love that ride!
  8. Um yeah, Cyclone was the most horrid thing I've ever ridden in my life. Ok, well the back row was. Brent and I rode in the back and I felt like I had some serious injuries to certain areas. Front wasn't all that bad though. I did love the Wonder Wheel. That thing made me happy.
  9. Eric! I can't wait for the photos. You and Candace are awesome! Can't wait to read the entire trip since she had a camera attached to her neck the entire time.
  10. To touch a bit on with what Eli said, the park didn't impress me at all! Something that was shocking, and really embarrassing was what happened when we tried to use our express passes on the penguin rapids ride. We basically didn't need them at all that day, but with that ride being the longest (about a 20 minute wait), we decided to use it. When we got up to the station, the ride op started booing us and encouraged everyone in line to boo us as well. He then started heckling us for cutting in line in front of "poor little kids". Seriously, that was crap. I'm more irritated at myself because I didn't think to grab Robb's camera out of my bag and film him. Oh and waiting over an hour for security to show up to unlock a locker wasn't fun either. The locker attendant (yellow man as the employees referred to him) disappeared and showed up again just after our locker was opened. That park has so much potential but needs a lot of work to be done.
  11. While its not bad here at all in South Florida, I must say, my flight leaving the East Coast TPR trip back home was horrid! We flew right through it. I totally had a Final Destination moment for about 20 minutes. Scariest flight ever!
  12. ^Aww so maybe Cora and I shouldn't have given you the award for "Most Likely to Never Return to the USA again". That's rubbish! (Love Ya Jake!)
  13. Rye Playland was one of the scariest parks of the trip! Seriously, when Jenn and I were on The Whip, everyone was looking at us in shock and horror as our car kept coming off the ground about 6 inches! We didn't realize until the end it wasn't normal! Great shots Erik!
  14. Ok, so I totally had this changed already, but after the East Coast tour, I really want it to say "It's the Milk Chocolate". I rode that damn hershey tour three times! Its forever stuck in my head. ~Scott
  15. ^Jay! Dude, you are totally awesome! I'm glad we rocked the pregame and didn't have to worry about the total rain-out at SFGAd. I had a fantastic time. I think I'm the only person left at the airport hotel. Here's to Fay not canceling my flight today! Edit: Oh and the award ceremony totally rocked!
  16. I think I'm going to cry in the morning when I realize its the last day. This trip has been unbelievably amazing! I can't wait to see all the crazy updates.
  17. ^That picture pretty much summarized my thoughts at the park.
  18. Hahaha! I freaking love you Robb. Now if only that would solve that mysterious smell on the Thunder Bus.
  19. Best photo of the day! This was taken just before we left for Great Adventure.
  20. See everyone tomorrow! The pregame today was a blast going to SFGAd and it was great to meet the new people to this years tour! The east coast tour is officially here!
  21. Eh, the park doesn't impress me that much. I'm hoping the shade factor will change with the greenage growing in. I've also noticed that Wet N Wild has almost looked dead the three times I've been up this year with Aquatica being at capacity. I wonder how long that will last.
  22. Being that I think I know who this is, I'll make sure she rides several rides. I forced her on Cyclops last year.
  23. Ok so I saw it last night for the second time last night, but this time at the Imax. I highly recommend seeing it at the Imax if you can. It was that much more awesome!
  24. Yay its begun and only 3 more days till us cool people join the East Coast trip! I can't wait to see the rest.
  25. ^LOL This is why I'd rather have hurricanes. At least I have at "least" a week to watch and then run for the hills. I've been through one small quake when I lived in West Lake Village as a kid, and that was scary enough. A hurricane, I can drive a few hundred miles and be out of the worst part of it.
