The whole reason that the ride has not gotten approval is not because of the state. It really has nothing to do with the scheduling or anything like that. The schedule got screwed up because the track was poorly manufactured by Maurer Sohne, and they had to actually get local contractors to literally alter the track in order to make the pieces to fit together. This is straight from the mouth of Wolfgang of Maurer Sohne. So, the entire project was screwed from the beginning since it was a manufacturing problem.

I've been terrified on ferris wheels before, and none of them looked anything like this...... Since I am not an engineer, I guess I will trust it.

I'm not as sure that the PTC's tore Hercules up as I am that I think Hercules tore up the PTC's.

Futureworld could use some love. It was kind of funny. When I first walked in to Futureworld I thought I was stepping back into the 70's. It kind of brought to mind Dippin' Dots for me - I mean really, how long are they going to be the ice cream of the future?

I can't really attest to the older EPCOT, but when I visited I just wasn't feeling the place. It is just a personal preference. I didn't really enjoy my time at the park. Though, perhaps I needed more time because I didn't have a ton of time to explore World Showcase.

When I went to the Disney parks for the first time 4 years ago EPCOT was certainly my least favorite of the parks.

The reasons: Money, Money, Money I know. I was hoping for some awesome answers from the Fright Fest lovers out there. I went on Saturday. My god it sucked.

The Golden Tickets was an amazing event this year. I know that a lot of people don't agree them the winners (I don't either, and I was very shocked when Boulder Dash won best wood over El Toro) but it really was an incredible few days this year. I am already looking forward to San Diego next year.

Why is it interesting that it's the same weekend as WCB? The two things have absolutely nothing to do with each other. We weren't even aware of the Golden Ticket date when we set the date for WCB. Not to mention the date for the Golden Tickets was set like a year and a half ago. It's not like there is competition here or anything. Just a coincidence. In regard to Undertow, I think the goal was to have it open by Golden Tickets weekend, but I"m not sure what is going on with it.

Actually. This is a cookie cutter clone of worlds of fun's waterslide complex. The drop slide layouts are the same. The tube slides are the same. So this isn't any bit original. I am not saying it is original. I am just saying that it is an addition that is a pretty typical addition for the park, and makes sense for what they are going toward.
