  1. I tried it a couple weeks ago. It wasn't bad.
  2. ^ Different park. Different operations. Different circumstances.
  3. ^ Midway America will not be open at all. You should check the website for the rides list: http://www.hersheypa.com/events/springtime/spring_list.php
  4. ^ Nah. They are normally pretty good with rain in the morning, if it is either forcasted to clear up, or just be light to moderate rain all day. You should be more than fine.
  5. 1. Beeja - Because from what it seems from the report, you two really hit it off and you really seem to like her Mike. 2. Janice - Mike loves Elissa's mom. 3. Sue
  6. I haven't had many problems with Great Adventure and rain. They are pretty good with keeping rides open even with moderate rainfall.
  7. ^ Six Flags New England is open 10:30AM to 7PM.
  8. My experience at Great Adventure on Easter, like Father's Day, the crowds have been very light.
  9. There is nothing like adding an element like this to help drive up attendance. I say 500,000 more people this year if the modification is successful - this I promise you.
  10. ^ Well, since you are traveling back in time, why don't you find someone who went there on March 18th and ask them. That would give you a really good idea.
  11. TPR stationary might be pretty cool for an office or something, to kind of keep up with the pens theme. Or a TPR pencil or pen holder. I'm not sure if there would be a huge market for it, but TPR head covers for golfers. Or maybe a TPR bowling towel. Or, how about......... TPR souvenir tickets. You would know who to come to for that
  12. So that means there would open up a market for personal use sex toys, no?
  13. Here's a great idea...... how about TPR condoms?
  14. Six Flags America is in large market that is hit hard with a good amount of poverty and low income households. I'm not sure how much amusement park competition they have in that area, though there is definitely entertainment competition. But as for parks, they are pretty much the only gig in town, and aren't doing a good job of it. Some of the parks that you mention, like Dorney, Great Adventure and Knoebels, are no where near Largo, Maryland. Six Flags America is not in any kind of direct competition with those parks at all. I think the main competitors for Six Flags America business would be King's Dominion and Busch Gardens. And other out of industry compeition would include various beaches, and Washington DC itself.
  15. Where ever Big Mike goes, he always "makes it rain".
  16. ^ Cedar Fair Platinum Passes are valid at all of the 18 Cedar Fair Entertainment Company-owned or operated amusement parks and outdoor waterparks, including: Gilroy Gardens in Gilroy, CA Canada’s Wonderland near Toronto, ON Carowinds in Charlotte, NC Cedar Point and Soak City in Sandusky, OH Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, PA Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom in Aurora, OH California's Great America in Santa Clara, CA Kings Dominion near Richmond, VA Kings Island in Mason, OH Knott's Berry Farm and Soak City in Buena Park, CA Michigan’s Adventure in Muskegon, MI Soak City in Palm Springs and San Diego, CA Valleyfair in Shakopee, MN Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun in Kansas City, MO
  17. And I am known to be one of the lucky ones who got one! Thanks Robb! I love my TPR pen!
  18. I both like and dislike how confident Shapiro is. I like the fact that he is confident and not cocky that things are going for the better and will stay that way. I don't like that he is so confident that the company will not have to declare bankruptcy. And even if they don't declare either this year, or next year, I feel like it would just be pushing off the inevitable. Mark Shapiro just got intoduced to this company too late. It is a shame. And I wish I had a $30 ticket price Six Flags around me!
  19. Wait, a boomerang can get better!? I'm one of the sick freaks that likes boomerangs already, and you are telling me this one is the best one out there? Wow.
  20. ^ I have to agree with that as there is a whole lot of stuff there that needs to be taken in. However, I can totally see why people would do it, so people don't "get" Knoebels until they go there. I know someone who was going to Knoebels as a credit run park, have plans to take the rest of the day to travel to Ohio, but ended up spending the entire day at Knoebels because they didn't realize what it actually was. Personally, I'm not a total fan of the park. I love the rides, the flats, the food, the hilarity that is the ride ops etc. However, I just can't stand the area, the "clientele", and the woods. I'll be making many a quick stop during my lunch breaks this summer, but I probably won't spend more than 30 minutes at a time at the park, just because I have experienced it completely a bunch of times before.
  21. Larry - I'll be heading to Bowcraft this summer. I'll be sure to get some pictures.
