2006 Coaster Season Stats
LOVE SFKK replied to DerekRx's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Since this was my first year as being a real coaster enthusiast, I thought it went very well. Parks visited: Adventuredom@Circus Circus SFKK (best park ever) SFMM ( Tatsu rocks) SFEG (flying coaster hurt) and Cliffs ( awesome GCI) SFKK was my favorite becasue of its hometown feel. Even thought it doesnt have super great coasters, its still a great park, and better than any parking lot attraction! P.S they have the only tough B&M in the world! SFMM was fun as always but Tatsu really stands out as one of the best coasters there. Batman seemed to have gotten rough this year, and Dive Devil rocks! SFEG was not very good and doesnt really have that great coasters. Although if the park sells, sidewinder should definately get relocated Cliffs, if the best small park in America, and yes the GCI is uber fun Looking forward to next year to increase the coaster count to 65 -

Great TR! SFOG seems like one of the best in the Six Flags chain. I agree that GASM looks like a great woodie, and seems to have a fun layout. Did they take out their parachute ride? Looks like you had a good time, and I give high fives to anyone that can have fun at Walmart, and Taco Bell, so Good Job! -
Who needs a coaster for 2007
LOVE SFKK replied to Milkchan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
you probably have never heard of FunPlex in Omaha Nebraska, but they have NO coasters and their best ride is a Chaos they got a couple of years ago. They have the funds becasue the water park is packed for the months that its open. It was also rumored that they requested permission for a n 80ft coaster but if you know Nebraska, it WONT! happen! Darn Nebraska, we need a coaster -
what coaster did you severely underestimate

I really thought that the now defunct Orient Express at WoF was not really that intimidating when compares to Mamba and Timberwolf but when i got on it I was so surprised! I found it smooth and i became really scared since i thought it was going to be a breeze. Arrow multi loopers can be shockers -
New Ride at Knotts?
LOVE SFKK replied to Xtreme-me's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I have not had the chance to ride the one at MoA but i have had the chance to ride Spinning Dragons at WoF which is the exact clone. Its fun, but its not super thrilling, doesn't really spin, and has little airtime. Its a great family attraction and that's about it. I actually think it would be a good addition to a park like Knotts because they only have Jaguar and Timberline Twister for Family and Kid coasters I would look at it as a loss to enthusiasts, but a big + for Cedar Fair -
who cares Bulls suck.......(IMO) how many times have you seen a ride op not doing their job

Snake Bay Waterpark
LOVE SFKK replied to LOVE SFKK's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
NO WAY! I just got back from my meet up with John and he recieved a letter from the one and only SIX FLAGS Inc. They said that they expressed interest in buying the small waterpark due to their recent closures of Frontierland, and Elitch Gardens. They didnt list a price, but John was very excited about this offer. The reason he called me their was becasue he wanted some backround on Six FLags. I told him that they are simply a corporation and only care about the big bucks. When i told him this, he was kind of heartbroken, becasue his goal for the park was for the kids of Nebraska and surrounding area. I told him that the decision was up to him. He told me that he had made up his mind and thanked me for my time. The next month advertised over Omaha, Kansas City, Des Moines, and all over the midwest, billboards advertised a new park: Six Flags: Great Plains. A sign located about a mile from Snake Bay -

I got back from the grand opening and I have to say that this is the best little water park that i have ever been too! YES! better than Noahs Ark! the changing area for the crazy wave pool the whole park adventure splash slide Cobra & Snake Pit (snake pits the aqua blaster) look at that ending Python Plunge! -
I wa browsing www.sfftnet.com and I was checking out their Superman Krypton Coaster gallery when i noticed that the Superman placed on the top of the loop was not there! I remember looking at the POV in the Video Forum (on TPR ) and it being there but now it seems to be gone. Dose anybody know anything about this because I always thought that was a unique part of the ride and was a step up for (theming) for Six Flags. I did not remove this with photoshop and it is NOT a joke, so please take it seriously. Thanks. By the way the pic is from sfftnet

LOVE SFKK replied to anush10's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Cool, its awesome to see people get started in the game forum becasue it is lots of fun. Your park looks pretty good and your building arent to blocky so I would say your on the right track! To make your pics bigger, go to save as and then change in to a jpeg file. I hope you change them because Hells Way looks like it has a pretty cool outside. Good park and keep up the good work! -

sorry about the lame jokes, just trying to spice up the TR, plus this is my first Photo Tr -
I went to Six Flags last year and took some pics. Forgot i had them but here they are for all to enjoy. Had some pretty wierd things happen that day. Read more to find out! Waits were so small that it was unbelievable. Superman walk on for 4 times. Ninja said it would open later and it did. Riddler, boring. Phyclone, i think im the only one in the world who liked it. Deja Vu 1 hour wait by 5:00 I didnt ride. X longest wait of the day for 35 min. Then we rode Goliath and it was a walk on for two rides. Scream was everyones favorite. We rode scream 9 times. We walked to batman and 1 of my friends chickened out so i didnt ride. we had 10 minutes before 10:00 closing time, so re ran to Goliath for the the last ride of the night! X's theming is so good. An i love how you wait for what fells like 1 hour to go back to the station THE END that pole was staring at me so i took a picture of it weird story 3 they made ashley change seats after she was already locked in her restraint(X on the lift) Xperiance the Xtreme suckage! whats the fuss with X, ithought it was the worst in the park The MCBR on RR and us coming down! Ashley got to pull the ripcord, but since she didnt understand the directions, she didnt pull the cord until 30 seconds after thy said fly Hey i forgot i was scared when they put me in between the two girls Weired story 2, i went on dive devil with 2 friends, and the person explaining those instructions had a heavy accent and we couldnt understand Woah, lets keep it P.G. on the kiddy coaster please! a very underrated ride that can be lots of fun! wOW THAT CHICK DIDNT LIKE IT TOO MUCH Goliath-the slowest lifthill on the world coaster. Wierd Stroy 1 of three. There was like three cell phones in the same place on the so called helix of death. Thats how six flags keeps open is by selling those lost phones! Riddler, Fun, but 0% thrill factor. IMO that palm tree is even more thrilling than the ride! the little one on the left made it to the top, but thats as far as the other one got wait, i thought i was at six flags, not the California Coaster junckyard. Wow, garbage bag sign coverings, wearing paint, missing light,I am at a real QUALITY park! (parking was cheap last summer) A pretty good view of Goliath, and Flashback and that waterslide looking like they are going to fall apart. X at the Entrance of the park

John Ruthey was the owner of a telecommunications commpany in Omaha, Nebraska. He retired early and decided he would like to build a small pool for kids to come and swim in for the hot, humid summers in Omaha. John bought a piece of land in the eastern part of the city and built an average sized pool with a snack bar and lockers. After the first summer, seeing how much the children of Omaha liked it, John decided to expand this into a small waterpark. On the off season, John used his fortune to build a large wavepool, with a 'drift river' as john called it that surrounded the pool. John got the idea that instead of making pools, he could add some waterslides. John made his first waterslide titled the Adventure Splash Slide that was tucked in a little corner between the wave pool and the drift river. Today John noticed me and told me what they were planning, and said it would be rainforest themed. He said in a few days i could take some pictures of the done thing. Ill post pictures of the Opening when i get back

So, Gemini is my favorite, then Oblivion, and Millenium Force. Is Gemini rough, i didnt get to ride when i went to CP and it looked awesome?
