Zynga continues to add new, free content to Coasterville! Now available are the Kodiak River Run rapids ride, gadget shop, and an entire new theme called Future City, featuring the Tower of Tomorrow landmark. Coming soon are two new customizable tracked rides: Lazer Battle (looks like an outdoor target shooting ride, and the Tubes ride (ever watch Futurama) The game is available to play at no charge with some premium content available for sale. For those who haven't checked it out yet, the game is definitely worth a try and there is new content added almost daily, it's a lot of fun!

I preferred Griffon, for the following reasons: Griffon has one more inversion. The wider cars allow you to sit further away from the track which adds to the ride for me. The view from the top is amazing, being able to look out onto the water on a clear day you can can see the "ghost fleet". My favorite visual at any theme park is Alpengeist's cobra roll and Griffon's Immelman side by side. Also, the roller coaster insider tour pretty much made me fall in love with Griffon, it's still my favorite ciaster to do this day. I do thing SheiKra has the better name and colors. On the tour, they told us Griffon had to blend in with the sky to help the neighbor's accept the changing skyline, I think the ride looks gorgeous. If you ever go to BGE, do the tour!

Best Dark Roller Coaster?
ECZenith replied to drewelap's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Space Mountain at DLR, but only when it's Ghost Galaxy! I agree with a previous poster that the layout is predictbale, but there's something about the music, and that ghost chasing you around in there that just works for me. -
I worked at the attraction for five years, lots of fun! Indy has 17 jeeps, 15 max active at one time, with at least two in refurbishment at any given time. There have always been a mix of tan and drab green jeeps. I would love to see what they did to it since I've been away, I heard whispers of this refurbishment and BTMRR's for at least 7 years, glad to see it is getting done.

https://www.facebook.com/#!/sean.costa.9 Add me as a friend, for items like the ride operator uniform, you post it to your wall and your friends have to click to send you one. Eventually when you're far along in the game, you will have a building or business or attraction that will provide you with the items you need rather than having to ask for them. For example, I needed to ask for saddles for a western type quest, now I have an attraction that will give me the items when I click it.

It's free to play, but like all Facebook games, the really fun items cost dollars (real money) redeemable by point cards or points you can by on Facebook. I find the game is fun enough without a lot of the extra things you can buy... for example, the Christmas themed items cost real money but I have no interest in them anyways.

Nanner, you can adjust your settings so only others that play the game can see posts requesting items for your games. An option for those who don't have others on their friends list that play the game, is to create a facebook account only for gaming, and add other players from the games fan pages. Please feel free to add me as a friend on facebook if you need help with quest items and upgrading your attractions, I play a couple times a day and always help friends that ask for items. My name is Sean Costa if you do a member search, I'm wearing a black shirt in my picture and I'm in my car in my picture, my hand is in the foreground of the photo.

Hi there, I didn't see anything posted on this game so I thought I would share it with you. CoasterVille is much like FarmVille, and similar games but the idea is you build your own theme park. The game itself feels like a graphically improved "Theme Park" as you can see from the screenshot. Much of the attractions you can build seem to be inspired by Disney (Big Thunder, Splash Mountain lookalikes) I don't play a lot of these games but this one is actually pretty fun and worth a look, check it out! https://apps.facebook.com/coasterville/ "Marty's Park" is the example you are given to get some inspiration for your park.

Your favorite HUSS ride
ECZenith replied to simon8899's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Giant frisbee! Kings Island's Delirium is one of my favorite rides in the park . I bet Maxair is even nicer, seeing how close it is to Lake Erie. I have to give runner up to Nightwing (SFNE) a Huss Fly Away, RIP. -

I love the photos, especially the ones of Windseeker with the long exposure, very cool! -
I this project looks great. I actually am a fan of the backwards section, especially if it changes effects in the tunnels for each time the train enters. Those who don't see any appreciation in it, I would say: it's better than the ride ending sooner and it's going to catch a lot of people by surprise. I can see the view now, Revolution's loop setting the foreground for Full Throttle's giant 160' loop, it's going to look magnificent!

When I first went to Knott's back around 2004 I was so excited to see a big wooden coaster in California. It looked great, had a cool theme and was in a great location. I was so disappointing that it beat the hell out of me. There are parts of the ride that just jackhammer your spine. I know many people don't like seeing the wooden coasters taken over with topper track, but I'm hoping Cedar Fair takes a queue from Six Flags and makes use of this structure and have Rocky Mountain transform it. It has a really cool layout and is an eye-catcher, just needs a lot of love and oh yeah... money.

I thought there were two tunnels along the monorail route but now that I look at the map there appears to be only one. Last time I was at MM I remember seeing that tunnel had been kept preserved, and I hoped one day it would find future use. Before it was known this was going to be a launch coasters, there were strong rumors the coaster would use tunnels to keep the LIMs out of the sun. I never heard anything of any additional tunnels along the route, just thought the old monorail went through the mountain twice. Looking at the map, I would imagine the coaster would turn right and launch through the monorail tunnel and up into the signature inversion. Just speculation, of course, but would make perfect sense.

I will actually miss DT quite a bit. It wasn't best coaster there, sure, but there is a shortage of indoor themed coasters out there. It was no Space Mountain but was still pretty cool. I'm sure Gatekeeper will ease my sorrows. Great photos! Blue Streak looks fantastic, I love love love Blue Streak! -
I was curious of who would be building this coaster, Intamin or Premier, and it looks like Premier, which I am very excited about. My friends and I were just talking about how much we miss The Chiller at SFGADV. So far here are the strong rumors... The coaster may launch into a 160' inversion, just shy of GateKeeper's record-breaking 170' inversion. It is likely the former monorail tunnels would house the LIM units to keep them cool and feature some tunnels in the layouts. Log Jammer's old loading area would likely serve as the location for the new station, typical, practical. Premier is back in the big LIM coaster game, welcome back, we missed you!

They can have "our" Flashback from SFNE if they like... I don't think it's services will be required next year. -

This survey went out in June, according to Screamscape... (6/26/12) A survey taker was quizzing guests entering Six Flags New England this week about what kind of rides are important to them. Questions asked include wanting to know just how important Roller Coasters are to Six Flags guests, and curiously enough, asked guests if they would rather have a new B&M style coaster ride or a LIM Launch style coaster. Curious… makes me wonder just what the park has their eye on for the future. This is the first I've heard about a ZacSpin. Given the above information I'd say the top three contenders are Wing Coaster, LIM launch coaster (SFMM's Full Throttle is rumored to use LIMs in th emonorail tunnels, maybe launched coasters could make a comeback at Six Flags) and now this picture clues ZacSpin. I hope they went with the B&M personally.

When I first heard SFNE was getting the StarFlyer, I was surprised. I was almost positive SFNE was going to get a new coaster (NEW as in fresh out of the box) just because the timing seemed right , and if I'm not mistaken there is a big coaster event planned for SFNE next year. I expected a new coaster to be the highlight of the event. What I DO believe is that Screamscape is right and they have held back on plans for the StarFlyer. My early speculation for Six Flags parks for 2013 is that they will order the "super value pack" of X-Flight style wing coasters from Bolliger and Mabillard(ie Batman The Ride, SUF), and SFNE seems like the perfect candidate. I would be very pleased with this or a steel-takeover re profiling of Cyclone. Dear Six Flags, if you ever do Cyclone over El Toro-style, please include a barrel roll like Iron Rattler and Outlaw Run will have. I would love to see the wild nature of Cyclone returned to its former glory, with a smooth ride and a twist... literally. I'll stop before my home park fantasies carry me away.
