  1. I'm interested. I am sorta stalled with my curent projects, so getting a park that is already built up somewhat or has just been started could be good to work on. Anyway, I am excited to see this park return. Are there any plans for sort of a sister coaster to Fahrenheit in the works?
  2. I really don't see why everyone is complaining so much. It should be a decent ride even without theming, and if they can pull off the theming well, it should be a great family ride. And even if you don't want a family ride, the Six Flags chain is not going to go forever without a new thrill coaster at any of their parks. There will be major coasters built eventually.
  3. Six Flags over Hell, Hell's premier amusment park! The star attraction there was "It's a Small World", but this version was a dark ride looping water coaster built by TOGO. Robb screamed in terror, but Baronesse von Creditwhore, who had taken a liking to Robb, dragged him on, but then screamed in rage at the stereotypical depiction of...
  4. Yeah, it is 32. Before the info got taken down, it said 32, not 36.
  5. Cash is one reason. These coasters can get pricy. Just look at Dragster and Millennium. $25 million, and Dragster isn't even 30 seconds! Another reason is space. And with Hershey, they don't exactly have miles of open plains to build on.
  6. Weird... Maybe the announcement was planned for later and got out early for some reason?
  7. Uh, what? This; Is a Norweigan Loop. It is nothing like a twisting drop. Fahrenheit has this element as the first element after the drop.
  8. The new Intamin mini hyper in Japan.
  9. I remember a while back that someone said the Six Flags chain would add 8 new coasters this season across all their parks. Seven have been announced. If it is true that they are adding eight coasters, either one has yet to be announced, or one of the kiddie area has a coaster and we don't know about it yet.
  10. Uh, I am pretty sure Keith and VIP did this animation. The previous two had animations by him, and this one looks almost exactly like those ones.
  11. May 24th is the supposed opening date. And I keep seeing people praising and pointing out the stadium seating. Don't all or most Intamin Sit Downs have stadium seating? Does anyone know if Maverick does?
  12. Yeah, use the extended coaster track with the StormRunner trains if you know how to do the train change hack. I can't really comment on the park itself though, having never been to Hershey, but I have to say it looks like it needs alot of work before it could be called finished..
  13. Read the thread next time. It is an enclosed Mack wild mouse.
  14. Uh, what? SFNE has Mind Eraser, Flashback, two generic kiddie coasters, Pandemonium, and Thunderbolt that are all clones, plus Batman that is a half clone, And SFGAdv has Great American Scream Machine, Batman, and Superman atleast that are clones. ... You were being sarcastic weren't you?
  15. Great Escape has just announced two new attractions, Wiggles World and a new waterslide named "Wild Wedgie". I don't know what kind of slide it is, but my gut feeling says it is a Deluge style LIM slide. http://www.sixflags.com/greatEscape/rideswaterpark/wedgie.aspx http://www.sixflags.com/greatEscape/food/Wiggles.aspx
  16. This looks freakin' sweet. Did anyone else catch the weird bit on the pretzel loop were it banks one way then dives the opposite direction? The capacity should be crap though.
  17. Looks sweet... But the capacity will probably be crap with only three 12 seat trains.
  18. I just saw that it will be in the DC Comics area of the park. The thing is, where exactly are they putting it? The ride was originally rumored to go on the current plot of their car ride, but that is closer to the South End area and Wiggles World. The only other place it could fit is the former stunt show arena, which makes more sense since it is at the heart of the DC Comics area. I actually really hope they don't take out the car ride. It would be a dumb move to take out a family/kids ride when Six Flags is trying to be more family friendly.
  19. http://www.sixflags.com/newengland/rides/thedarkknightcoaster.aspx It seems Six Flags New England is also getting The Dark Knight Coaster that is coming to SFGAm and SFGAdv. However, we already have a floorless coaster called "Batman: The Dark Knight" GP related confusion and hilarity ensues.
  20. That link is broken. Did anyone download the video? If so could someone post it?
  21. Could someone please show the video? It is REALLY FREAKIN' ANNOYING when people brag about how they know it, but never tell anything.
  22. Grrrrrrrr... Did someone download the video? Nantimi deleted it before I got to it
  23. Could you edit that so it doesn't stretch the page like that?
