Boo Blasters looks pretty cool. I recognize alot of things from the Scooby Doo version of this dark ride. It's a good thing I rode the Scooby version of this last season otherwise I might have not remembered what it was like. Anyways, I hope the kids and other patrons like it as much as most did Scooby. -
This really sucks. DD's original quene was definitely the best quene I ever had the pleasure of waiting in. I don't see why they couldn't of just left the themeing and added a few figureines of Potter or whatever else and changed the "Chose thy fate..." to "Choose your oponent" or something. At least we have pictures to reminiss.

True, but they don't run it during HHN. I wish they would because the LED's would look awesome with all the fog. -

Here's the next batch of pictures: I'll leave you with a picture everyone must take on a trip to HHN. Looking into the scare zone. Some girl just got chainsawed and everyone's just standing around?! Walking to the "Lights, Cameras, Haction" Scare zone. After my friend and I got completely soaked, we headed over to the restaurant next to E.T. and had dinner. I got a burger which was fairly good. Anyways, after we ate we headed to Chucky: Friends Til the End. After the Spawning we decided to go check out Bill and Ted's before it got too late. This is the only pic I took. My review of the show: After all the videos I've seen, and discussions I've read of past shows, I can humbly saw that this years was pretty weak. It was really funny at some points, but the main factor was that they used so little of the events that have happened so far this year. Basically, they had a lot more to work with than they used. This isn't to say it's not worth seeing, but it's just not as good as years past. After the show was over and everybody was heading out we realized it was pouring... Next up was The Spawning. Wait time for the GP? 30 minutes. Wait time for my friend and I? However fast would could walk to the actual house(in this case, tent). In the saw Express Pass line. This house was awesome. Heading over to Amity, to experience Saw. -

Wow... I thought someone would surely post a reply before now. Here's the next batch of pics. I'll end this post with a picture of the entrance of the "Leave it to Cleaver" house. "Meetz Meats, the 'Z' stands for fresh!" Here's Leave it to Cleaver's text thing. One of my favorite houses this year. It was very original, gory, and funny. While I didn't get to experience this show, everyone says it was great. A projection in the Frankenstein line. Most of the houses have this feature. You text the "house #" to 64646 and each different house gives you different texts giving you info about the houses or options on ways to go. Gotta love the express pass. HRRR's turnaround. Another pic of HRRR going to the Frankenstein house. -
To begin with, this was my second HHN trip. I went for a brief time during HHN XI but was too scared to stay very long. (I was 11) lol Also, let me start by saying that this year's houses were very well themed and very exciting. Here's my reviews:(SPOILER ALERT) The Wolfman (Soundstage 22): This was my first "house" of the night. Growing up watching Universal's classic monster movies, The Wolfman and Dracula being my favorite, I was really anticipating getting into this house. Luckily I purchased an express pass and basically walked right into the "house". Upon entering, it looks like you're in a forest. You can feel and hear the wind, smell the trees, and also hear howling in the distance. As someone else said in their PTR it's so realistic there was even sap on the trees. Anyways, at some points you walk through the given tight area's where people jump out at you but their were also some fairly large rooms. Everyone who was portraying the Wolfman looked completely real and even got on all fours at some points. Like other houses this year there was one particular part where the "Wolfman" was above you attached to a harness jumping over the walls roaring and a part where he tries to strike you from above. This was overall my 3rd favorite house of the night. I'm going to give it an A-. Dracula: Legacy in Blood (Soundstage 23): Dracula's house was up next on my stroll through the park so in I went. Once you enter, you instantly believe you are at a castle somewhere in eastern Europe. It is really cold in this soundstage, windy, and noisy(none of which is a bad thing). This was my favorite house this year. It had it's fair share of scares as well as ghostly women hovering above you throughout your trip through the maze. The entire area looked an felt like you were in a castle. If you were "inside" of the castle the air was calm and the scares were constantly coming. Once you stepped "outside" of the castle, though, it was insanly windy and cold. For these reasons and more made it my favorite house of the night. A++ Next up was... Frankenstein: Creation of the Damned (Soundstage 23): Frankstein was a pretty cool house. These last three houses would most likely as good as they were because they were in a soundstage. Frankenstein was no exception. While this house gave me the most scares, or startles, it wasn't my favorite. The blood and guts portion of the house mixed with an evil experiment type of feel were amazing. The main thing that through me off were how the "monster" throughout the house looked. They all had some LED thing on their chest and to me didn't look that good. Other than that it was a good house. B- Leave it to Cleaver (Disaster! Queue): This house is in a tie with Saw as my second favorite house of the night. From the extreme gore of it to the insanely funny humor, this one left me with a smile that could rival that of the smile on the masks. You enter into a butchers shop and then go behind the scenes to see how "Meetz Meat's" get there famous meet. Let's just say it isn't from cows, pigs, or chickens. A Saw (Jaws Queue): This house is tied with Leave it to cleaver because of the attention to detail. I wasn't even paying attention to the actors because I was looking around and examining everything. Even though I was doing this some of the pig headed accomplices of John, or Jigsaw, did manage to startle me. At one point you do see Jigsaw on his deathbed which was pretty neat. Also, many of the other scenes from movies past were in this maze. A The Spawning (Tent): This house was pretty neat. A nice idea. The creatures are pretty cool especially with their glowing eyes which makes them even creepier than they already are. This one was pretty good but overall I didn't even jump and it didn't thrill me that much. C- Chucky: Friends til the End (World Expo Warehouses): Even though I really enjoy all of the Child's Play and other Chucky movies I didn't think this house, or tent, was going to be that great. Overall it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great thing. The best thing in it was the "vortex bridge" that makes you feel like you are spinning. It was pretty cool to see Chucky in his own house but I didn't like it that much. C Silver Screams (Parade Warehouse): This years staple house was not a favorite for me. While it was cool to see many movies envisioned in one house it didn't thrill me nearly as much as the Wolfman or even Saw. "The Strangers" and "Army of Darkness" rooms were definatley my favorites in the house. B- Here's the first batch of pictures(sorry they're backwards, first time uploading directly to the site): The main gate with my friend Chris posing. Walking towards the first scare zone; Containment. This guy is like a Wal-Mart greeter, except he's telling you to turn back. The beginning of Containment. This girl runs around asking people to help her. Coming to the end of the Containment Scare Zone. Going to Frankenstein. Looking down at the "Apocalypse: City of Cannibals" scare zone. This was my second favorite scare zone. Heading toward's Frankenstein. The turnaround on HRRR.

I went last year and it was a pretty fun event. While I can't compare it to HHN it was still extremely fun. I'll be going this year again on October 2nd. I'll post a trip report afterwards. -
Question about HHN Express Pass
dragsterfan420 replied to dragsterfan420's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Well I'm going on Saturday so I guess it will be a good idea. Thanks. -
I'm going to be taking a trip up to HHN Orlando for it's opening weekend and I had a question about the Express Pass. I'm only asking here because I couldn't find the answer elsewhere. The price of the express pass for the day I'm going is $59.99 + tax per person. I just wanted to know if the express pass includes admission or is it an upcharge.

This roller coaster looks amazing. From the 300 foot drop, to the beautifully engineered lift hill/lift supports, to the Dale Earnhardt theme. Cedar Fair has not disappointed me at all. The restraints on it, if they are like Maverick, might be uncomfortable, but boo-hoo. Lean with the trains and you'll be fine. All Intamin/Cedar Fair is trying to do is accommodate guests that are a little bit on the bigger side. I sure as hell wish B&M would have done that on Diamondback instead of making the seats more restrictive than typical hyper coaster seats. Another comment I'd like to make is that anybody complaining about this $25 million dollar investment should stop. Trying being a coaster enthusiast living in Miami where the only permanent coaster you have to ride is a 100 foot wooden coaster that you have ridden about 1,000 times[Dania Beach Hurricane(Which I do still love by the way)]. Anyways, I'm planning on taking a trip up to Virginia next year now. Can't wait to ride this beast. -
