  1. Dueling Dragons better be up and running then.
  2. Nice pictures of crap I mean Kraft food.
  3. I was surprised to see Kingda Ka raked as high as it did (higher then TTD no less). I didn't remember hearing a lot of buzz surounding it.
  4. My 2005 year in review: A very good year for travel. Went to Vegas in January/February. England in June/July. Salt Lake City/Yellowstone in July. My first coaster of the year: USH's Revenge of the Mummy on New Year's Day My last coaster of the year: Colossus at SFMM Best new steel to me: Nemises! Best new wood to me: BPB's Wild Mouse. It's wild with a capital W. Best new flat ride to me: Flying ACEs at Lagoon Best new water ride to me: The Log Flume at Legoland UK Best new dark ride/walk through to me: Hex Best new water park attraction to me: That Lazy River at Lagoon-A-Beach Best new park to me:It's a Toss up between Alton Towers and Blackpool Pleasure Beach. I liked them both for diffferent reasons. Best park "moment" of the year: I loved being one of the only Americans at those parks mentioned above. I got a kick out of the reaction from some of the locals. Best overall park "trip" of the year: England! Worst new attraction (any kind) to me of the year:Rita. Best event at a park: Solace Best non-event day at a park: Either SFMM with R&E or the last time I was at Disneyland (it was DEAD). Best non-park related moment of the year: Going to Yellowstone Favorite TPR post/thread of the year: Can't narrow it down Best Amusement related news of the year: The new rides for 2006 Worst Amusement related news of the year: The Sale of SFAW. Ride that I had to rethink my opinion of in 2005: California Screamin'. While it's still a fun ride, the airtime is gone thanks to the trims. Hopes for 2006: Going to Walt Disney World in a few weeks. As well as some other trips later in the year. Oh, and I'll receive my AA next semester.
  5. ^^ It worked fine for me. ^ Were was that filmed? That place looks familar.
  6. Had some Bass at Midnight. It tastes like....Matzo! (Who'da Thunk) I wonder how Matzo dipped in beer is?
  7. DO NOT download this iff you are on dial-up. It took me 15 minutes to download it (and I'm on Broadband). The video frooze after about 10 seconds.
  8. I think Robb was joking. He tends to do that on occasion.
  9. Neither of those are the best DLR has ever had.
  10. I'll be at WDW that week, but I'm not an AP holder . I wonder if hotel guests can ride.
  11. I believe Disneyland has Shuttle Service from LAX and SNA. (Wes might know more) There are also hotels in the Anaheim/Buena Park area with Shuttles to both Disney and Knott's.
  12. I'm glad I have that credit. I wonder if this means that they'll add another ride?
  13. Sorry to hear that! I usally avoid Knott's during Toys for Tots. from knotts.com:
  14. I AM going to WDW next month and there is a good chance I'll get to go to IOA and Sea World Orlando that same trip. SFMM, Knott's and DLR are a given. Others: TPR UK Trip Liseberg, Tusenfyrd or DLP, Parc Asterix (right after UK trip) maybe: Cliff's Wonderland TX SFoT Frontier City Bell's Joyland KS Silver Dollar City Celibration City
  15. Colossus (SFMM)- Today (12-22)
  16. First Coaster: Revenge of the Mummy (USH) New Year's Day! Last Coaster: ??? First New to me Coaster: Air Last New to me coaster: Screaming Mummy Highlights: - Solace (4 parks in a day!) - Alton Towers and Blackpool (my first international parks) in June - S&S - Lagoon (a nice park you don't hear much about) - 4 parks on a day in September (Scandia, Pharoah's, Castle, Knott's) - A visit to DLR in late Nov. No lines!!
  17. Rita: Following the consturuction, I didn't know what to think about it. Aftrer I got off, I still wasn't sure what to think. Might have given it a second chance if the line weren't so long. It's..ok..I guess. I remember the launch being better then expected, but the rest was just...blah. Oh, and the restraints suck. It also doesn't make any since in UG Land. Alton Towers' could've done better, IMO.
  18. C'mon Shuttle Loops are x100000000000000000000 times better then any Boomerang out there.
  19. I can't view Joey's video. I can hear the music, but can't see the video. I'm also curious as to why my video didn't make it (aside from the lift hill footage).
  20. ^ Dude! I was about to say the same thing.
  21. I think depends on the train you are in. The last ride I had on was buttery smooth, but I sometimes get an "Intamin Rattle" from it. I wouldn't say it's ever "really rough" by any means.
  22. ^^ The more recent pictures like better, IMO. You are actually somewhat good looking, Stitch.
  23. ^ Vote for rides YOU have been on.
