His contact info was there previously. Maybe too many coaster nerds were bothering him. That and the music is different. The music on the original was significantly better... -

I came across this awesome video on youtube today; it really showcases the current state of the park. It is quite sad actually. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-e_olW6824 Cinematography by Teddy Smith October 23-29 ADMIN EDIT: According to the end credits of this video, it was filmed with permission. -
Nürburgring launched coaster
LcHg5265 replied to thomas2's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
While Formula Rossa has a faster top speed, the proposed (if it ever opens) acceleration on Ring Racer would be much greater. I feel like the launch on Ring Racer would be significantly more intense than Formula Rossa. -

I went to Terror Behind The Walls at Eastern State Penitentiary this past Sunday. It was really cool to be walking around the old prison, passing by cells while getting scared etc. The best section was the Infirmary. Really used the space well and creeped everyone out. -
Now it is down to Phoenix and Indianapolis. My only issue with Phoenix is that the facility is on the west end, and the nice places to live (Scottsdale and Tempe) are on the east end!

Why do you love Indianapolis?

Hello all, I have been given a job offer that will allow me to choose a location. I have already narrowed it down from over 20 locations to the following 5. Does anyone have any opinions / advice etc? I like an active lifestyle and a city vibe. Love to enjoy the outdoors and nature. I am hoping to find an urban / modern apartment / condo as well. I like a metro feel in which many people are out and about, walking / biking and so on. I am from New England, but am willing to try out something completely different. I also have a flat salary, so cost of living is also a factor I am considering. Thanks! Pheonix Indianapolis Lexington Seattle / Bellevue Hebron, KY (Cincinnati)

In 2010 I have been to: Headless Horseman in Ulster Park, NY (A hayride and multiple haunted houses) Halloween Haunt at Canada's Wonderland (I got startled / scared the most here. The actors were really into it!) Trail of Terror in Wallingford, CT ( A long walkthrough; interesting sets but not much else) The Haunted Graveyard at Lake Compounce (Most elaborate set-up I have encountered. A 45 minute walkthrough that looks more like a movie set than a haunted house) I did not take these pictures. Just wanted the share the level of detail at The Haunted Graveyard at Lake Compounce Slaughter House @ The Haunted Graveyard Manor Facade @ The Haunted Graveyard The Mayan Temple Facade @ The Haunted Graveyard The Mayan Temple @ The Haunted Graveyard The Mayan Temple @ The Haunted Graveyard The Mayan Temple @ The Haunted Graveyard -

Once a day they will launch the coaster into a sand storm. They will call it an exfoliating coaster experience. -

It was part of Illuminights for the, "World's Largest Cuckoo Clock." It was one of the most screwed up / ridiculous / awesome shows I have seen at an amusement park. -
Quoted for absolute truth! ISpeed is the perfect combination of speed, height, inversions and transitions. More coasters should be like iSpeed! I thought you were on Team Katun due to the rides employees

La ronde better than Candas Wonderland? I could not disagree with you more here. Types of rides don't even come into the equation when operations are as bas as they are at La Ronde. I have been to La Ronde once each year for the last three, and every year it gets worse. I am pretty confident in saying that La Ronde has the worst operations of any park in the world (and the rides themselves are mediocre, making it even more upsetting). From what I have read about Fuji-Q, I think La Ronde is giving them a run for their money... -
I hope we get Hoveround-POV for your Dollywood trip report.

Mystery USA GCI Project?

Maybe it is to allow a coaster that currently has one train to have two. (i.e. storage / transfer track) -
Lake Compounce/SFNE on a Saturday

Wait until you are in the park and judge the crowds...it sounds like a waste to pre-order. -

Also, try to do the Sky Ride at Lake Compounce. It is one-of-a-kind! Ghost Hunt is a pretty good interactive shooting ride. -

Great White and Zoom Phloom at Morey's Piers. Under the boardwalk! Honerable mention to Tennessee Tornado at Dollywood and The Beast at Kings Island!
