  1. I've heard people say that B&M hypers look boring because all they do is go up and down and not "loop-de-loops"
  2. Are people blind? They look at me and see "gay". Not, good artist, or good actor or something else. My mom and her boyfriend are the only people that see me being gay as just a characteristic of my personality. They know that there is much more to me than my sexual orientation. This Thursday, two days from now, I'm going to see my dad in Denver. He's homophobic as hell, and my mom advised me to not come out to him for at least a while. Well, now I have to turn off my flamboyancy and turn on whatever the hell is straight, which is just too freaking hard. If he sees "gay" he won't see his son. In his eyes he will see a fag who wants to go around and rape people and the only thing on his mind is sex. Why is "gay" the only thing people see? There is much more to people than their sexual orientation. Why must we let our sexual preference shadow who we really are?
  3. At Wild West World, they had a Moser Spring ride (Mexican Jumping Bean), about 20 feet, and a Huss Condor (Condor). When we were in line for the Prairie Plunge, this woman was saying, "I can't wait for the Condor to open! The Jumping Bean is a baby Condor!" I'm not sure if I should consider this "odd" because I can understand people thinking that the Condor is a freefall ride.
  4. Some of that is just middle school You still have stupid and ignorant people in high school, but people (most at least) get more mature as they enter and go through high school.
  5. We have Project Lead the Way here. I'm actually in that class right now, but I've finished the assignment, so I came here to look for AutoCAD stuff.
  6. That would probably make everyone sick
  7. I'll be a freshman in college in 2012 Aren't the aliens coming in 2011 Seriously? Cause I heard somewhere...yeah...
  8. NOOO!!! Pacific Park was my first Boardwalk and the coaster kicked-ass! Hopefully it goes into the right hands.
  9. I really like how this ride has turns and drops throughout the whole course, instead of going through hills only, then turns only. Like Goliath at SFFM. IMO, the fun part is from the drop to the MCBR. Then the boring turns. But T Express has drops and curves throughout the whole course.
  10. Boring texters. "O" "Lol" "I'm sorry" "K" "Y" "Cool" It irritates me when people use one word and one letter texting. What the hell am I supposed to say to respond? I'm trying to have a conversation but I can't.
  11. Shadow looks almost like that floorless coaster from Premier Amusement Park over at RCPro. Actually, is it?
  12. ^I enjoy them! Boomerangs AND kiddie coasters I only dislike a ride if it's unbearably rough or hella boring. Boomerangs kick-ass!
  13. I remember when SSRBP was first announced. People were so angry that a thrilling attraction such as a euro-fighter would be "Spongebob" themed. And now look! No one can wait longer for it to open!
  14. What about the 16 year old workers that will probably not have a job at SFKK anymore, unless they do something else like a janitor or food sales? I bet just a couple of 16 year olds liked their jobs as ride operators
  15. ^^^&^^^^ Ironically, I was thinking that too. I mean, a curved little hole in the ground does kind of foreshadow that something will be there. It's going to be sexy
  16. Somehow this reminds me of things like, "I'm never going back to this park because the roller coaster malfunctioned." *COUGH* Six Flags America *COUGH*. It's stupid, and pointless. I can understand Kentucky wanting to make amusement parks safer, but this is just dumb.
  17. Of course it's not!!! I think most of us, gay men, had from small to big troubles at high school concerning our sexuality. I accepted it at the age of 18, when I was at the University, but I started to live it freely at 22 (now i'm 29). Although, i'm still attending psicoanalisis meetings, because i believe it really helps to understand ourselves! It was hard for me at the beginning of the year, but that's pretty much changed from now. In fact, guys that wanted to beat the sh*t outta me just because I existed now let me touch their muscles and give them hugs! !!! There still are haters and such, but it's all working out better than I thought it would. I'm kinda lucky I guess. But what I'm getting at is that coming varies from high school to high school, and from gay guy to gay guy (Some gay guys at my school are liked more than others cause they aren't as flamboyant. My drama teacher is gay but everyone loves him!).
  18. I challenge that. My brother's good friend has been with his girlfriend for 21 months so far, and they started dating at 14. I don't think you guys understand that being with someone for an extended period of time does not equal love. My aunt and uncle first got together when she was 14 and he was 18. And now they have been married for 10 or 11 years.
  19. ^It's still standing but that's all I know.
  20. ^I drove by the park yesterday. You can't really see much from the interstate, but to me it looks like the buildings are still standing. Just some rides are gone. EDIT: This kind of reminds me of Wonderland Park in Amarillo, Texas. It opens late, and has a bunch of carnival rides and LOOKS like a carnival. I did have fun there none the less.
  21. So pretty much: -Owned by a fairground provider. -Opens at night (which IMO would suck because crowds would be larger and unlike when WWW was open, you wouldn't get to go during the day when you were bored. I guess it could help the park save a little money ) -Lower admission fee ($15) Now that is something that will draw crowds unlike Etheredge's $25. -MOBILE rides??? This place was enough of a carnival already! OMG that is a little depressing. Hopefully SOMETHING would be fun. -This guy has experience. That is what a theme park creator in Kansas needs. And WWW is an example.
  22. [rant] Parents [End rant]
  23. ^^That made my day! I love the way you put that! ^Hell to the no! Ferris Bueller is NOT the greatest movie ever!
  24. ^^He meant something like the maximum height that roller coasters can't be built anymore.....And we haven't found that yet.
