Wow, talk about a complete shift from game 3. The Flyers looked like a completely different team last night. It didn't help that Fleury was standing on his head on all night. The Flyers definitely had their oppurtunites. We might be down 3-1, but at least we won't be facing Brodeur next game.

I'm thinking those brakes are on so hard because if the train flys around those curves at a decent speed, it would be a large amount of stress on the structure itself.

Good to see the Flyers got back to some old school hockey yesterday. They still need to win the next 2 to even have a shot at the series since they choked game 2 away. If they stay physical and play their game they will be ok. I used to think Crosby and Ovechkin were pretty even as far as how great they are. I'm leaning more towards Ovechkin now after seeing Crosby whining to the refs after every single bit of contact yesterday. Its hockey man, there is going to be hitting.

Great report Scott. I too love going to minor league games. We have the Omaha Royals here. The best promotion ever is their Thirsty Thursday promotion. Every Thursday game is dollar beers. Beer prices for regular games aren't bad either. I believe they are 5.50 for a 24 ounce beer. That ballpark seems really nice for a minor league club. It looks like they draw very well. The Royals play in Rosenblatt which is also the home of the College World Series. (at least until 2011) The Royals draw around 4,000-5,000 a night, but it looks empty because they play in a 24,000 seat venue. I am looking forward to the Royals moving to a smaller ballpark later which will make it more intmate. Awesome Mallrats reference by the way. Its easily one of my favorite comedies.

The only thing I could see stopping USC would them not making the tournament. They'll probably lose DeRozan and Gibson.

Without a doubt this puts USC as the favorites. I would probably have them as 3 to 5 favorites. Arizona State will also get heavy consideration. I'm interested to see which lower conference teams can pull off some upsets.

There are so many. Right now I'm really into the Foo Fighters "Let It Die." Just listening to it sounds like Dave Grohl is finally venting on Kurt committing suicide so early. It also seems like there are shots at Courtney too. This isn't the whole song, but you get the gist.

Well one thing I learned from the mascot bracket is to do a little more research before filling it out. It could have worked. First mistake - not realizing good always conquers evil in the tournament. My championship picks Demon Deacons and Blue Devils didn't make it past the sweet 16. Second mistake - underestimating the Spartans. I knew the Spartans were tough, but didn't realize these are the same Spartans from 300. Third mistake - not knowing what the hell a Tar Heel is. It must be some kind of mythological creature that unleashes an uncontrollable fury when on the court. Things I learned: 1. Lions may be king of the jungle, but other felines rule the court. Wildcats and Tigers all made deep runs in the tourney. 2. Huskies are also dangerous on the court. The must have some wolf in them. I think next year I'm gonna do a hottest cheerleader bracket. I better start doing research on that one. It needs to be very in depth.

I keep laughing when I hear this statement. UNC already beat Michigan State at Ford Field this year on December 3 by 35 points, 98-63. This game is at Ford Field, so why is everyone still talking about the home court advantage? If State pulls off the win, they will have to hit their shots, because UNC will. They lost that game so bad because Sutton was out as well as a couple other guys. Its completely different now with Sutton on the court. Hansbrough won't have his way. Lawson is the key in this game.

I'm not a Nascar fan, but reading that TR makes me want to do that one day. That is really cool that the drivers are so easily accessible once you can get close to them. That would never happen in most other major spports.
