The Tappan Zee is the better route. You can take the Merrick Parkway thru Conn to 287, then to the Tappan Zee to the Garden State Parkway. 95 is the shorter route and Ive made better time on it, but its hit or miss. You can make excellent time or add an extra 2 hrs. Time of day really doesnt matter either as Ive hit traffic in the middle of the night, but made great time in the middle of the day. Tappan Zee is pretty consistent.

A friend of mine just bought an 05 GTO. It looks much better in person than pics. As for myself I just bought an 06 Chrysler 300c. I really didnt want a V8, but I got a better deal on it than I would have on an 07 with only 4k less miles. Besides this had more options. So far Im loving it. Very few cars can I seat 5 more than comfortable plus a trunk, and still smoke cars when I want.

Couldnt have said it better myself. What Universal is doing is fantastic, but I cant help getting excited to see what Disney is going to do. You just know they wont sit back and watch their guests leave to a different park. Coasterd- Potterland wont be open to 2010.

I honestly cant see Harley Quiin as a real threat to Batman, even if she is getting orders thru the Joker. Catwoman, is a maybe, but a big one. Penguin and Catwoman in the same movie will never happened, they did that already. Also Bale said he wont do a movie with Robin. Riddler is what I am leaning towards now, but who knows. I really hope they make another one, but Nolan is right, its going to be really hard to top this. Even if the next one is just a good flilm and not amazing like TDK, people will bitch that it sucks.

For what its worth, Ive heard that Eckhart is signed on for 2 movies. There will def. be a sequel, and the reason is 158 million in 3 days. WB isnt stupid, they will do whatever it takes. I think out of respect for Heath, there shouldnt be a recast of The Joker. Those would be some really big shoes to fill. I absolutely loved the movie, and I plan on seeing it again. It lived up to the hype, which isnt easy to do. Joker was perfect, really like Eckhart, and Bale always delivers. Amazing movie.

Ocean City did make it. You have to click on 5 more amusement parks near the bottom. AC made it because its the first, and their is history there. I dont go there for the boardwalk ( Wildwood) or the beach (OC), but I can see why its on the list.

Good to show NJ getting some love. Atlantic City and Ocean City both in the top ten, but Wildwood, Seaside Heights and countless others could have easily been included. Of course I may be bias growing up within a half hour all my life.

Sounds like an awesome trip and you have gotten off to a good start. First let me say that you can almost count on at least someone backing out, your trip is about a year away and things come up. I can really only comment on parks I've visited. Busch Gardens is a must, might even be the highlight of the trip, dont skip it. Clementon might be a skip. Hellcat is really worth the price of admission. Also driving thru Philly isn't bad at all. If you take the Walt Whitman Bridge over and stay on I 76, it takes you around Philly, not thru it. You can then jump on 476 north which will take you to Dorney/Knoebels. Finally you cant judge gas that far in advance. Its going to be a huge part of your budget and who knows how expensive it will be by then. I wouldn't be surprised if its over $5 per gallon.

Took my son to see Kung Fu Panda yesterday and I must say that it was really good. It had some pretty funny parts, and the action scenes were excellent. I think Wall E will do really well, but I m not so sure it will be a better movie. It is Disney Pixar and they really havent put anything out bad, so Im sure this will be good as well, but KFP could be an instant classic

Didnt Universal Orlando contact B&M for their new coaster but were told they were too busy? I always assummed that Sea World was one of the reasons. I know everyone claims how screamscape is usually way off and will post whatever, but he seems to usually nail the orlando parks. I think its a flyer, but Im not sold on a launch. I do know that 2009/10 is gonna be an awesome time to be in Orlando.
