  1. I somehow got soaked on Pirates of the Caribbean in Ca when it came off of the lift at the end of the ride for some reason it created a splash just big enough to get me and the person behind me pretty wet.
  2. I could swear that the PNP's are not stacked layers of wood they are solid pieces I could be wrong though
  3. you also need to keep the locals in mind they raised hell and made putting in Double Shot a nightmare for the park anything taller than 125 feet above the beach is pretty much out of the question
  4. Now it will be more like a train ride then ever
  5. Yeah I agree I don't think they are going to close it down they are just taking some time to figure out what they can do with the park. The couldn't build the GCI in the planned location and removing Grizzly or Demon would present the same problem, I guarantee if they were to tear either of those down it would be a huge battle to build anything new there. The only option for anything new would have been to clear up a spot away from those Nazi businesses along the side of the park
  6. No I agree it is a mirror image they just took out the hills and replaced them with a long curved piece of track and I want to say they also raised up the turns slightly as well, I do believe the first drop is pretty close if not exact to the original however
  7. Yes it's more like riding a super bumpy train ride than a roller coasters
  8. Ahahahahahahah that was freakin funny and so true
  9. Yes I know I was just making a point that there are the same rides at two parks that are close together
  10. Doesn't the park already have a Chance Revolution? What is it, about seven hours between Knott's and CGA? That's plenty of distance to build a Windseeker at CGA and not be competing with KBF but with SFDK adding Skyscreamer, why should they? They need to add something that Six Flags doesn't have. I think CF is aware that the park needs a new coaster and I'm sure it's in their long term plans if things work out for them regarding the stadium issue. I would like to see the park continue on. Besides, who's idea was it allow office buildings to be built next to a theme park? I was referring to the Kings Island one and the fact that CP has the exact same ride
  11. Wouldn't something like Kanonen fit nicely in that spot. Im still not ruling out a Windseeker even though there will be one at Knott's and a similar ride at SFDK . . . I have a great example for you Delerium and Max Air . . . perhaps they will surprise us with a new coaster and a Windseeker replacing Skytower
  12. Also add B&M coasters to that list as I have seen a B&M Inverted coaster and a B&M Stand up Coaster run with the restraints up
  13. No it replaced freefall located down in the area by the wipeout
  14. Scream, Tatsu, Riddler and Batman that makes 4
  15. That would be a great idea if the park could build anything as tall as I-305 or Dragster but as far as I know 225 is the highest they can go due to the airport being so close by
  16. And of course lets hope it isn't a fence advertising a ride the park was never to get like they did with Hypersonic
  17. Great America was the first park to have two inverted coasters as they claim and it is heading to be the first park with no coasters if they keep it up
  18. That's the same thing that spelled doom for two face following it's malfunction in 07.Negative publicity forced the park to remove it. Perhaps they may be shipping the ride east? CP already has WT so there's not much sense in installing it there. Yes but Drop Tower has had its share of negative publicity and a much worse accident and yet it remains in the park, same can be said for Perilous Plunge at Knott's. Cedar fair doesn't seem to be in the business of removing a ride due to bad press
  19. Lets not forget Skyhawk Triple Play Yankee Clipper The Train Pictorium
  20. Move the cafe and extend the water park across that I can see happening
  21. Regardless of what anyone says I can see it going to Cedar Point along with another new coaster because its got a small footprint and would be easy to squeeze in the park and boost the coaster count with minimal investment At this point CGA may as well just only open for Haunt it seems to be the only reason to go there anymore
  22. Oh you are not alone I feel the same way. I am thinking at best if anything does go in that spot it will be a hand me down from another park, (I wonder if Knott's is still looking to get rid of Screamin Swing) It no doubt a sad shadow of the park we grew up going to isn't it. I agree with you 100% about Invertigo going to Cedar Point if it is going anywhere it will be there to boost the coaster count
  23. Yes it is a rumor based site bud sadly the parks actions over the last 10 years makes this not all that hard to believe especially after its little boo boo
