Kanye West is probably the most hated person right now
edh replied to edh's topic in Random, Random, Random
Well unless MTV is a psychic, I hope they overshadowed it. He died after they filmed it. -
My most hated class.... World Lit. I have dropped it twice, and I managed to get a C in the class when I took it over the summer. It was hell. We had almost 30 pages of reading to do every night. Only reason I did so good in the class was because I found out the types of essays she does, so I studies that a lot more. The rest of the test has trivial information that is almost impossible to know unless you 100% understand the story. And don't even get me started on how the stories were boring, and most were in Old English so it makes very little sense.

That is no excuse at all. Celebrities are supposed to be role models. He is just a sorry excuse for a human. I really hope everyone starts boycotting his music. As much as an ass he is, you don't go up on stage and grab the mic from a 19 year old girl and embarrass her in front of millions of people. -
Anyone happen to watch the VMA's last night and see what he did? Probably one of the rudest thing's I have ever seen. When Tayor Swift won an award, he went on stage, took the mic from her, and said that Beyonce should have won. And he wonders why people think he is a gay fish.... http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/player/popup/?rn=3906861&cl=15544058&ch=4226715&src=news

Celebrities and Athletes you've met...
edh replied to SixFlagsTexas's topic in Random, Random, Random
Cody Runnels/Rhodes, from the WWE went to my high school and graduated the same year I did. His father was Dusty Rhodes, the famous wrestler. I stopped watching wrestling years ago, so it was shocking to turn it on and see someone from my HS. I looked in my yearbook and found some funny pics of him. He was also in theater (which makes sense for wrestling). -
Did you guys mean to have six guys posing in the picture with that DVD?

I just got tix to see Kings of Leon this October at Phillips Arena for my b-day! I can't wait. I started listening to them a month or two ago, and I really like them. Should be fun. Phillips Arena is voted the #1 venue for concerts in the U.S. I haven't been their except for hockey games.

"IZ 12 E nuff"... Is 12 enough. Maybe that could mean 12 inversions? -
Celebrities and Athletes you've met...

The guy who just won the British Open, Stewart Cink is from Duluth. I read he is a huge Atlanta Thrashers fan (and a season ticket holder), so I probably have ran into him at a practice since he lives right by it. They are honoring him at a game, so hopefully it will be one I go to. -

^I had bought a mustang from Jimmy Carters cousin maybe 7 years ago. Lets see.... I got to meet the whole Atlanta Thrashers and get the whole teams autograph. Saw them at the practice facility. I worked at the Boardwalk, and I got to see: Jessica Simpson, Samantha Brown (from the Travel channel) Gary Sinese, The band who sings the song "shout", the main guys wife from Jurassic Park, And a few others that I forget. I saw Dan Marino's house before. And Chipper Jones lives 5 min from me. I've seen Usher and Alyssa Milano. Im sure there's plenty more, but I forget them. -
^ That still doesn't change the fact he is one of the greatest musical artists of all time and has influenced most of the musicians today. Remember the good things he did, not the bad.

I usually don't watch many reality shows except for this one. The new season started today, and so far it is off to a good start. A most of them were OK, but nothing that stood out except for the last performance. Anyone else catch it, and what performances did you like?

I saw Night at the Museum, Up, and The Hangover. The hangover was probably the funniest movie I may have seen this year and it just as funny as I love you man. Up was probably my second of the two. I thought it was another great Pixar movie and it was sad, yet happy at the same time. I thought Night at the Museum was a lot better than the first, and I liked it, but it dose;t compare to the other two.

Well, looks like they didn't.

crappiest or funniest movie twist ending
edh replied to GhostoftheAlps's topic in Random, Random, Random
Donnie Darko, but that whole movie is really weird and creepy. If you never saw it, its about Donnie Darko, who almost died and then sees a bunny rabbit who tells him to commit crimes. It then gets even weirder and gets into time travel stuff. Was good movie, but it takes a few times to appreciate it. -
Any one watch SNL last night? Justin Timberlake did a sequel to his "dick in the box" song. This one is just as funny. It has some bad words, but it is bleeped out. http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/video/clips/digital-short-motherlover/1099491/

Just wait till you find out if either of them build anything next year, and then decide.

I just saw him live last month and it was the funniest show I have ever seen. You can't compare those two. They have two different styles of comedy. Jeff Dunham can get away with a lot more since people seem to get caught up in his characters and forget he is really the one talking.
-
I think Jeff Dunham is the best. How can you not laugh at this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uwOL4rB-go&feature=related

I have always been a fan of the show America's got Talent, and saw a video of a singer Susan Boyle on the British version. After seeing her picture, and then after listening to her sing, you will be blown away. She has been a internet celebrity, and is going on lots of talk shows. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY&feature=related

We are definately trying to do a bio bay. I think the one in Viesques you have to stay over night unless you do some catamaran sailing that costs $125. I think we are doing the one more on the west side of the island. Our hotel is the Hampton Inn right by the airport, and I think its across the street from the El San Juan Inn. Anyone been to that place? From what I was told the whole lobby turns into a giant club or something like that. Also, aren't you allowed to bring Duty Free items back at the airport? And what is the average cost of alcohol. I would expect rum to be very cheap.

Here's mine. This is from the 30th and I went all out on Halloween and did more to it, but here is one for now.
