  1. I got asked: Does Down Town Disney accept cash? -No, we only accept disney dollars. Is the tap water safe to drink? -No we poison it with drugs to make you happy and buy stuff. Some people at work have once been asked: Where do they put the castle at night? So where do all of you sleep? They think we all live inside the park or something. And these are all 100% real questions, and they were serious.
  2. I heard about that...Glad I work at the Boardwalk where people who go to those things cant afford to stay there. I think it was at Pop Century, right? I'll have to ask my manager about it who also works at Pop Century. I am glad they are gone. Everyone just gets pissed off by them. They think they get special privelages because they are in that stupid thing. The parents are just as bad.
  3. The Boardwalk is definately the best at night. They have a lot of entertainment, and its all lit up and everything. The loop around the lake to the Yaht and Beach club is .8 miles.
  4. Are you in Vista or Chatham? I just got there a week ago and im in Vista.
  5. I just noticed the wrestler Cody Rhodes (or Cody Runnels) is in the WWE. I just realized that guy went to my high school. I didn't really know him, but I heard of him through his wrestling at the HS, and seen him a few times. I had no idea he was the son of Dusty Rhodes. How is he as a wrestler in the WWE? Its weird finding out someone famous (or soon to be) went to your high school. I don't watch wrestling much, but it makes it interesting if someone you've seen before is on it.
  6. May want to get one of them quickly. It has some nasty pictures with a lightbulb and a coke bottle....
  7. I just remembered something. Go to Stone Mountain and you can see snow. http://www.stonemountainpark.com/you-should-know/?id=253
  8. No, the park is not open Jan. October (and a day or 2 in Nov) are the last days it stays open. 2. It snows on a few occasions in Georgia, and if it does, the whole city shuts down.
  9. Will they have discounts for the event at Wendy's or any other stuff? I saw there is a coke promotion for FL residents, but I will be living in FL and not have any FL ID so I don't know if its valid for me. Any way to save money for me would be good. I don't know what date I will go, since it depends on when I need to work.
  10. Yea, I understand what you mean. I just need to use up all the tickets before I leave the CP. But from that, it sounds like it should be fine when my parents go. Does that portal thing say how much all the disounts are? Im curious to know how much like Cirque du Soleil, and all the other discounts you get are.
  11. Really? I thought you just don't expect one, and if the guest just offers you something, then its alright. Oh well. It would just be nice to make a little extra money to go to USF or Busch Gardens every once in a while. BTW, my mom was wondering this. Are there any blackout dates to go to Disney? My family was thinking on coming the day after new years until I leave (4th). I would think that would probably be a good time to go, but I've never been there around then. I guess I just need to book the hotels early, and hopefully request time off well in advance. If I have any leftover free tickets, am I able to get them when I have people come with me, or can you just get the max number and use if later on and give it to someone? (Like if I wanted to give tickets to my grandmother after I left the WDWCP).
  12. Yea, thats alot for a home. My dad liked the Ko Olina because it looks really nice, and the condo's go from $500,000 for a 2 bedroom to $580,000 for a 3 bedroom. I wouldn't mind living in hawaii, but I wouldn't get to live anywhere as nice as they do. My parents also concidered moving to Orlando when they retire, so who knows.
  13. I kinda figured that. Do they ever put you in a area where you get tips? I am not expecting it, but it would be nice to make a little side money for stuff like IOA passes, and stuff. But thanks for all your help. You sure do know alot about what I will be doing. Less then a month to go...
  14. I thought of another question. Is bell services strictly going to be luggage, or do they ever have you do other things that the hospitality roles do? I was reading stuff, and people said they did stuff like front desk, and also bell services. It would be cool to be able to have a bigger variety of things to do. Someone also said they drove a golf cart around and delivered stuff to people. If I got to do that, that would be fun.
  15. I saw the" Photo TR: Paranormal ship walk on the Queen Mary" was in this section, so I figured if that one was on this section, this one could be to. You can move it if you want. Also, you can get snow cones in the mainland, but it just tastes different. Snow cones are hard ice, but shaved ice just has a different taste. BTW, technically, Hawaii is like one amusement/water park but without the rides. Surfing and Catamaran rides are just as thrilling as any water slide.
  16. Yes, thats true. They even have an imax show about a reef. But I enjoyed the PCC although we didn't get to go there long enough because the Movie tour started later then we hoped. But the show at the end was one of the best shows i've seen. It was well worth the price alone. Some fire dancers had the things of fire, and they threw them 50 or so feet to a guy standing on a "mountain" about 20 feet above him. And it is very authentic.
  17. ^ We visited Ewa Beach, and my parents were actually concidering moving there, or somewhere around it when they retire. Do you know about how much the homes cost? They really liked Ko Olina resort that had real estate. I noticed they had alot of constuction. Whats that going to be. But if they move, it wont be for 6 years, so I am sure tons of new stuff will be up then.
  18. I forgot to mention, we stayed at the Embassy Suites, Waikiki Beach Walk. That hotel is very nice, and it is very close to everything. It is right next to a 5 star hotel Halekulani. The best part is they had free alcoholic drinks in the evening for the hotel guests. Free Mai Tai's all week are quite good. And if you think about how much each one is at bar or something ($8) it really adds up! Right across the street, they had every designer store you can think of (Gucci, Coach, Chanel, Tiffanys, etc) so my little sister had a field day. And if you ever go, make sure you visit Ala Moana mall. It is a huge outdoor mall, and it is very nice, and has tons of stores.
  19. Yea, not to many from Georgia. But It is crazy in Hawaii. They have tons of magazines, and dining, just for the asians. While doing the movie tour, they even spoke half of it in Japanese. But I say to anyone that if they ever decide to take a vacation instead of coasters, go here. Airfare is a little expensive w/o freqnent flyer miles ($800 from ATL a year in advance) but if your closer, its probably cheaper.
  20. I got back from my big Hawaii trip, and I have a photo TR of a few of the places I went. Unfortunately, this is my parents camera's photo's. I accidentally forgot mine. But I went all over Hawaii, and did most of the touristy stuff. One thing I noticed is how many Asians are in Hawaii. They are everywhere. I love coasters an all, but I needed a change (and we had frequent flyer mile tickets). This place is beautiful, so if you ever decide to go somewhere other then coasters, go here. So here is to the TR. BTW, I did see one coaster, but it was closed and in really bad shape. It is located by the Aloha Stadium. BTW, If you go there on Wed, Sat, and Sun, they have a giant flea market with tons and tons of goods that have inexpensive prices. I found shirts 8 for $20 and many other things. My sister found a knockoff Chanel purse and my mom got a knockoff Prada one. And if anyone is interested, I have a bunch of more pictures in the link in my sig. Last picture of me in front of Diamond Head. Me trying to boogie board. Kept running into people because the beaches are so crowded. They wore some very strange outfits. Later in the evening, they had an amazing night show with awesome fire dancers and everything. Mmmmmmmmmmm pig at the Luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Another ocean shot. In the next picture, you can see why Hawaiians like that are so fat. Does this scene look familiar? To bad the T-Rex didn't eat that kid that wouldn't get out of the picture. Nice shot of the mountains. Can't remember the scene that was used in Pearl Harbor, but this is now used to show memorabilia. We went to Kualoa Ranch one day. We did a tour to see where they filmed movies like Pearl Harbor, Jurassic Park, Lost, and a few others. Me doing surfing lessons. Surfing is quite hard, but a lot of fun. I had one of 2 good rides. I think this is an acceptable level of wetness. View of Diamond Head from the Catamaran. All those girls in front of it are from Australia. They SCREAMED when the waves hit all of them. Went on a ride on a Catamaran. These things pick up speed and get you soaked. This is by far the best shrimp I have ever had surprisingly. I was a little hesitant to eat out of a shrimp truck, but it was worth it. They have Shrimp Scampi for $12. Lets see, you pay $7 per person, and walk 1.5 miles to get to it. Sure it was a nice waterfall, but it wasn't worth the walk. This has the best shaved ice in Hawaii, and the best i've ever had. Make sure to get it with ice cream on the bottom. Its only $2.50! One of my favorite places we ate at. Its a little pricy, but we went for lunch. Got a simulator credit at the USS Missouri at pearl Harbor. The ride sucked, but the ship was quite impressive. This is the Halona Blow hole. The water didn't blow as high as I hoped. Here is another great picture of an island we saw. This is a picture after a 1.5 mile hike up Diamond head of a lighthouse. What a wondrful view.
  21. I guess the only thing that really seems bad is the DME. I could deal with annoying guests, I was a lifeguard once at Six Flags. And by the CP got "stuck outside" which position is that?
  22. From wwe.com WWE/Benoit timeline Written: June 26, 2007On Saturday, June 23, Chris Benoit was slated to appear at a WWE live event in Beaumont, Texas. That afternoon, Benoit contacted WWE to inform them that his wife and child were ill, and that he would not be able to attend the show. WWE executives rebooked Benoit’s flight for the following morning, allowing Benoit to miss the Beaumont event making alternate arrangements for him to attend the pay-per-view event in Houston on Sunday. WWE employees attempted to confirm with Benoit his travel plans but were unable to contact him. Early Sunday morning, between 3:51 and 3:58 a.m., Benoit sent five text messages to co-workers: Text Message 1 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:53am)- Chris Benoit’s cell phone “My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane, Fayetteville Georgia. 30215” Text Message 2 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:53am)- Chris Benoit’s cell phone “The dogs are in the enclosed pool area. Fayetteville Georgia. 30215" Text Message 5 to one co-worker (sent 6/24 at 3:58am)- Nancy Benoit’s cell phone “My address is 130 Green Meadow Lane. Fayetteville Georgia. 30215” Throughout the day on Sunday, WWE made numerous attempts to contact Benoit both at home and at local hospitals in the Atlanta area. As of 11:00 p.m., WWE officials were unable to establish contact with Chris Benoit. At 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 25, WWE officials were notified of the text messages sent to the co-workers the previous day. By 12:45 p.m., WWE had contacted Fayetteville County Sheriff’s office requesting they check on the Benoit family. Fayetteville County Sheriffs office made contact with WWE at approximately 4:00 p.m. advising that they had entered the house of Chris Benoit and found three deceased bodies – an adult male, adult female and a male child. WWE was told that Benoit’s home was now considered a major crime scene. The decision to cancel the live event scheduled in Corpus Christi that night was made between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. In keeping with company policy, and with limited knowledge regarding facts of the case, WWE choose to air a memorial dedicated to the career of Chris Benoit. As facts emerged surrounding the case, all tributes to Chris Benoit were removed both on-air and on WWE.com.
