  1. According to the full press release I saw, it said that there would be motion seats. Bummer . . . well at first glance. I wonder how long it would be? would it be a continuous loop like the previous residents or will it be on a show schedule.
  2. Hey, has anyone used their pass dining plan at scary farms? I know you can use it at Carowinds during Scarowinds.
  3. I don't think they can slow the ride down. it still has to make it thru its course.
  4. If you are driving, I would suggest hotwire.com. I sort by star ratings and get 4 star places near sea world for the price of a 2 star place closer to universal. You can't drive down fri? They have the rush of fear pass good for the first 3 weeks.
  5. Could it be no motion seats? Without them they can increase capacity being those motion pods took up space with the gap inbetween them and with stationary seats they can have no height requirement which leads to an attraction everyone can enjoy . . . Like terminator 2 3d.
  6. Is it just me or for the walking dead to be a top biller, it was the weakest house this year?
  7. So after a night of this . . . And And I figures I was good and ready for this! Firsup . . . Freedom flyer. Fun little flyer, much better than the versions at carowinds and kings islands. Next up, the screaming swings! Man! I really like the park size model but this size seems more intense!! Quite a few flats . . . There's also a spot for gators, but I'm sure they were sleep. The crowds were very light . . . I didnt get the credit . . And of course go karts. Time for some white lightning! It still fires incredibly smooth! And there you have it, funspot.
  8. Well . . . griffon doesn't have one.
  9. You do know, when you dual load one train will sit outside the station until cleared to take the lift. So, who's to say they cant crank the trains just as fast. I think appalling is a stretch of a word to use.
  10. I haven't seen this much complaining about a new ride since the last time someone announced a new ride. And this even isn't announced yet!!!
  11. Everyone can't make it to SFFT. If anyone is let down its kinda their own fault. Yeah its a clone, so are some megalites! I think this coaster will do well with the crowd. And c'mon guys, its six flags . . . What more did you expect name and theme wise?
  12. Wait . . . Great Adventure is a "world class" park? What are the prerequisites??? Now, while it does have its fair share of coasters I, personally, wouldn't quick to consider it among the ranks of a world class park. Now . . . Let's get back to the clone lol.
  13. HOS is pretty good. I recommend doing the dinner before as its good food and it gives you like the first hour of express included.
  14. I went a couple of weeks ago. This was the line I waited in . . . Look at it go! As for the rest of the park . . .
  15. I don't get it. The layout is the layout, be it standing or sitting. Some people even sit as it is now. In my opinion, trains don't make the layout, they can make the layout bearable or not. Ao, if its boring as a floorless, chances are its still working as a stand up.
  16. Of course you, a grown man, would find them boring . . .
  17. I agree a lot of rides are family friendly to us but going to the website, KD doesn't consider a lot of what was named "family friendly". Im talking about rides (particularly coasters) between 40-48 height requirement. Most families go by what they see on the site, and they see like 3 coasters they would consider allowing their kids big enough to ride. Im just saying, if the park is in a severe NEED of a coaster, a nice new kiddie/family coaster that caters to the 40-48 inch crowd seems ideal to me. And actually, I consider Universal my "home park" as I am there more in a year than any other park . . .
  18. ohhh . . . so before it was more than a giant witch hand and some witches attached to a giant swinging fan?
  19. Why would they need more than 9 adult coasters? FAMILIES go to parks and spend. I get it . . . you're young. Once you have to take some little ones to the park and get to that age when they are tired of riding the great pumpkin coaster but isn't tall enough for volcano or dominator you will then understand. And you do know it takes nothing for someone to make a post saying the park is looking to bring (insert any coaster designer) to the park right?
  20. Dude . . . the park has 2 kiddie coasters, at best, out of 13 coasters. I don't know what beemers you're riding but most are what, a 54 inch height requirement? Also, if you feel they have enough kiddie coasters, someone can argue they have enought adult coasters as well . . .
  21. Rather have a B&M. Heck, Shockwave is the only thing worse than a Vekoma. Ok . . . here you go! Seriously, KD had like what? 3 true family coasters?
  22. I hope KD's next coaster is an vekoma inverted jr coaster! Something the FAMILY can enjoy . . .
