Oh, that was not my theory (replacing corkscrew). I asked because I have only been to cedar point once and that was in 2014 so I was curious if that could be the case or possible. -

I read somewhere that with this expansion, it seems they are clearing the area near corkscrew. Could that be the case they they are gradually getting ready for it's removal and clearing the area so it can house a replacement coaster? -

You just can't go by back something that isn't for sale you know. . . Besides why do that when you can spend the same money on something unique and brand NEW. -

Yes, they could have added 90 degree drops, loops, in-line rolls and all BUT zambezi zinger had none of that. They are capturing the essence of a long gone ride and, I'd dare say, it's pretty damn identical. And in the spirit of the long gone coaster, this seems to be geared to families. -

Why? No other chain is split up and they are able to cater to each parks specific need. Apparently, this situation is a leadership issue. More so one that doesn't want to listen, read or get assistance from anyone. -

Maybe while they were being praised for being fully opened and extended hours during the pandemic, they should have been mimicking the operating procedures of the Cedar Fair parks, that many criticized and mocked. Sucks so many are losing their jobs, heard the PR folks lost theirs as well. I am just confused as to why no one is visiting the parks when they are so accessible and affordable? -

I have had some time to think about why i not that impressed/thrilled about big bear mountain. I think it is because the story is really good but the execution (so far from what we see as far as the layout thematic elements) doesn't seem to live up to the story. I feel if the trains were a little more unique, other than a retrofit normal train, that could have helped. Now, a blue sky idea I have is to cut the first half by some and have it launch into a cave leading into a building like verbolten. Then have elements as if Big bear were stalking you and as soon as it is revealed, the track drops and you can have a small launch to meander back to the station. That's just blue sky at this point but I'd be more partial to it than the current version. -

Right! I was like Big Bear Mountain?!?! It's in an open field hugging the perimeter of the current attractions. I am glad it was corrected from being the single largest investment to being the largest attraction (that meanders on). And that track is so different it's hard to say who is the manufacture. THE big(gest) bear mountain. . . -

From my understanding, this weekend. Now the final call for southern star is a surprise as it was in the plans as to stay. Now, it may be staying under a different name and make over to look like a plane (SFOG starship). I think the name of the new area will be Aviation Village or some rendition of it. -

^ Prime example as to why parks don't listen to or value the opinion of enthusiast.. 13 years since the park has had a new coaster and you'd be "torn" if it's something new and innovative? While still rearing from a pandemic in a climate when parks are still recovering and recruiting workers and visitors? But here you are, being torn because it's not what, a type of coaster you want?? -

It's not impossible. Most similar rides have similar height restrictions. Most B&M speed coasters have the same height restriction across the board, most intamin family coasters have the same height restrictions across the board. . . and so on and so on. This isn't a new wheel, just a new coster, more of the same. -

So about this coaster. . . I am trying to avoid POV's but like it was mention a post up, no one is talking about it. Is it because it's basically RNRC2.0? Is there anything special about it? -
