One more question, How does the park do in the rain? I am going this weekend and it looks like 80% chance of rain Sunday. I could just leave very early in the morning to get there by at least 12pm to get 5 hours at the park. That way if it rains sunday i wouldn't have wasted the entire day due to rain. -
March 24, 2018. . . New year New coasters to ride! Today I found myself at Kings Dominion with my coaster buddies to ride the brand new Twister Timbers! Everyone was excited about the opening of what would be Cedar Fairs first RMC coaster! right here. . . They also gave the mouse a new name. . . Lets go. . . And wait! Getting closer. . . I can just taste it. Finally rode it. From what I remember it was fun but nothing to run home about. Enjoy some dated pics stopped at the mac bowl place and ummmmmm. . . yeah im good. Hello old friend. And for all you size queens out there lol

Talk about a long time coming lol! We are BACK to the adventure guys and we have a lot to catch up on! Next stop HHN Orlando. I'm going to lump the entire season in one report for the sake of time. So I present to you HHN Sept-Nov 2017. . . It's opening night of HHN and I am pumped! but first my fav. . . I ended up getting the jalapeno popper stopper or however it's written lol. Now, it's time for some fat tuesday! HOnestly, I have no idea what the houses and streets were at this point but I do know Trick or treat was impactful lol. And Clowns took over Simpsons. I do remember this house "The Harvest" right and remember i was really good! But not so much this one lol. That's all the shots I took on opening day so I headed out to go to Emeril's. THis was the last week or month or something for it operating so I was a little bummed but I enjoyed my meal. Oh well, We are back a week later. Decided it was finally time to take my godson to HHN since he was 13 now and he said he was eady, we will see. Went through the first house, the harvest or reaping and i found out. . . he was not ready lol. look at that face. . . He was scared of the net one now lol but this one wasn't as bad. We took a break so he can experience Diagon ALley. Oh the purge was active as well. After a while, we left an got some pizza. Final night 2017. . . Lines not too bad at opening. Guess I decided to enjoy it more as I did not take many pics. . . Let's see where the next adventure takes us because I have no idea lol.

To anyone who have stayed on-site. I am looking at the all inclusive add on that included lunch and dinner but no breakfast. Is breakfast free? -

Not that wave breaker, wave breaker is much larger. This new thing launches into 180 degree turns and on the second launch goes right.. Wave breaker has much longer straightways and s curves and an overall much spread out layout and launches into hills that go to the left. Have you seen the nolimits rendition? I don't see wave breaker at all. Does anyone else get wave breaker from the proposed layout and animation?

I would say aside from the fact that we know CF works with B&M for their largest coasters (note, this is not anything exclusive just how it has been asided from 305 in recent years), it's the supports for me as well as the placement of the transfer track and the layout. It's literally looking like an extended Fury 325.

don't know if you are aware but this is a discussion board where you. . . discuss. You are missing something, the fact that this is a place to discuss things, and in this particular thread, discuss all things Knotts. Hopefully that helped. . . No, I cannot think if a single plan, in recent years, that have had plans submitted for the project and it abruptly got canceled for any of the reason being mention here outside of things that have been placed on hold due to the pandemic. Of course you are at your leisure to name some and help refresh my memory, but you'd rather assume my panties are in a bunch, as if I wear underwear in the first place. . .

First, I didn't call you a disney fanboy, I said the disney frame of mind in the sense that they announce things 20 years out and it never comes into fruition. I cannot grasp the concept that since you think a ride in the mold of a hyper would work well at Knott's and you THINK cedar fair knows that as well, why would they go and design a giga instead lol?!?!? I cannot think of one project that had PLANS SUBMITTED, note I said plans submitted without having all aspects of cost covered, including permits, inflation (which should not matter if you agreed to one price and signed a contract for it). I feel we are past all the things you're talking about and now just waiting for final approvals and construction. I know of one coaster that had to make drastic changes to the layout after construction and that was Tenn Tornado and that was damn near 20 years ago.

i'm curious, How much money do you think it will actually save to cut the coaster by 75ft??? To put things into prospective, Carowinds removed their go karts, relocated their sky flyer, demolished their front gate, graded the entrance to be less of a hill, created a new state of the art front gate, built a new parking toll, redirected the parking traffic, AND built the tallest Giga coaster at the same time ALL without having to cut or scale back anything.

Lol, I don't think you know how this works. You think the park will so everything it takes to design, present a plan to go back and say nevermind it cost too much?!? You know they do not wake up and say lets build a coaster. These type of projects are years in the making and funds are SECURED before planning even starts so get out of the disney frame of mind and take it down a notch to typical parks lol. and if you see the design plan, there will be no more parking lot but green space in the place the coaster will go. I am sure the pandemic has halted and change some capital expenditures of lots of parks I do also feel we are at the end and parks see people are coming so nothing will really kill this project.
