what coaster did you severely underestimate
jarmor replied to methos's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wild one at six flags america. At first glance I thought it was gonna be boring but that thing blew me away! The airtime the laterals it was all very sweet! And it was nice to see the haunted shack thingy behind it! -
The atmosphere of being in a period when everything was simple. I look at dollywood as being the most simple looking theme park I have ever been to. It doesnt seem like the "trendy" parks that you find now a day. It seems like it took a step back in time and I feel that a chair lift would look totally out of place especially in areas like showstreet and the 50's area. I have never had a problem w/ the traffic flow in the park everything seem to just flow. I think the train is perfect for the park. Now if It can make several stops and not be the scenic ride it is that maybe better but then again it wont be the scenic ride it is lol!

Man shot at Universal Orlando's parking lot
jarmor replied to BarryH's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
But its not the parks fault if people cant handle their liquor. When will people accept personal responsiblilty. The park is the supplier nothing more nothing less. The park has an optimistic view of people drinking responsibility. In that case I can blame my local ABC if I get really drunk and do something stupid. I can say they didnt limit the amount of liquor I purchased but who's fault will it be? MINES! -

This is also an adult oriented event. Who's to say that a theme park cant sell boo's. I dont see a problem w/ it at all. I will put money on it that people will still be as rowdy as they are now at HHN w/o the beer and stuff because the event attracts morons. Even at SCarowinds it was some idiots picking on the scaractors and being stupid but the park wasn't getting everyone liquored up. I vote to keep selling whatever you want Universal. Its not like you dont let people know what type of event they are in for before they get there. If it bothers people that much they should simply leave the trip out of their plans for that year. Jarvis "the boo's dont bother me at all and no I dont drink at the park" Morant! -
I think a skyride would ruin the atmosphere of the park...but thats just my opinion.

But it's likely they were not. I don't see how beer or boo's should be the "reason" why people do things. People use the fact that "I was drunk" as an excuse as to why they do particular things. A true state of drunkness is when you dont remember what happen the night before not when you get the balls to slap someone or talk smack because you feel you can blame it on being drunk. Jarvis "been drunk plenty of times and never did anything stupid" Morant -
Sooo....I guess my concept for "gansta's paradise" wont work huh... First you enter the park thru the central hub called "Da Block" where you first encounter the smells of Mizz. Peachez Ghetto Fried Chicken gourmet resturant. The Staple attraction of this land is "Its tough to be a thug" 4D attraction complete w/ real blood! Other lands include crack alley which is geared towards teens and thrill seekers alike with attractions like "Gettin' High" Drop tower and The worlds tallest roller coaster called " That High Coaster but will be simply known as "THC". For the water park lovers we will have "Pookies public pool". The theme is pookie is stealing water from the city and having a summer party and pulling out all the stops! The water park will include all the latest from the "slip n' slide" brand. Moving right along to "Da Brig" section of the park. Here you battle it out on "da shoot out" dark ride. You go head to head with another group of people to see who can shoot up the most people all while riding in your custom navigator style vehicle w/ 22 inch rims. and get ready to get wet on "Up the River" log flume. For you guys out there who love haunted houses get prepared for "House Arrest" The scarest haunt EVER! We cant forget the kids who have their say so in "Free Lunch" Land. Here kids have an interactive ride named "Are you my daddy" where you go on an adventure with nanuka as she tries to find here daddy! More details comming soon!

I use a tripod for every shot I take! Also I used the landscape setting to give the shutter enough time to capture enough light. -

When you take night pictures the shutter stays open for alot longer to allow as much light in as possible. some cameras you can set up to have the shutter open for a long time. If the object moves it becomes blurred, (it kinda like burns every movement an object makes into the film/file. I took a night picture with Italian Job and it came out like this. the shutter stayed open the whole time you see the headlight streak, you can kinda notice the people are a little blurry cause they moved a little. Hope that made sense. JEFF lol lol I kinda already knew that but what I should have said was why would someone want to use that effect but I guess it depends on what look they are going for. I have used it before but not for periods of time where you cant make out anything but thats just me... -
