  1. The list all the rides that are almost clones (KK and TTD/Titan and Goliath) instead of more origanal coasters. They also show a couple of parks a few times. I can understand Cedar Point but not Magic Mountain.
  2. New pics up at Geauga Lake Today: http://geaugalaketoday.com/GL_Deconstruction.htm
  3. That's odd, and cheep. I wonder what anyone would want with it? It you were to put it outdoors, you would have to add insulation and other things to make it stand alone. I would rather start from scatch.
  4. Just what I was thinking. That park could seriously use a new flat like that. Market it well and you may have the GP thinkin' you are getting a $10 million flat ride, when it will only cost about $250,000.
  5. ^Great Photos. They are finally taking down that shop right next to Timberland Twisters photo booth. It was not that interesting after Peanuts left and blocked the view of TT from the midway.
  6. I believe that it is around 4,000 feet, so I think Dominator is longer by about 200-150 ft.
  7. Nice Photo TR. It looks like SFGAd puts on a Fright Fest very much like the Halloween Haunts at Cedar Fair parks. R.I.P. Chiller, I never got to ride you but maybe in 15 years when I go to Europe, hopefully I can ride you.
  8. That is horribly terrible. It looks like that girl has broken both legs.
  9. I don't know. I did not take them. But hey, at least they are construction pics and we know we have more progress in the expansion. It always amazes me how fast Gerstlauer coasters go up. So construction with the supports and track for Spongebob Squarepant's Rock Bottom Adventure should be up fairly quickly as soon as they start. I am guessing that the concrete slab where the stage used to be is where the drop tower will go. It would be the most logical choice considering the half-pipe is going where the fountain was, kidde bumper cars where the shooting gallery was, and the Eurofighter where Mystery Mine Ride and some shops used to be.
  10. I know, what ever happed to, "We are trying to find a new great name for this ride and will be announced in November", statement from the GM earlier this month? Looks like they just were being lazy with the name like at Thunderhawk at Michigan's Adventure. Maybe they only change names of rides being transported to a park in the same state or next stae over (Firehawk and VooDoo). Dought it will be repainted, and if it is, it will probably just be the same yellow, blue scheme.

  12. The Branches will extend all the way out to the buildings if they are 55 feet wide. That is amazing.
  13. New Photos up at valleyfairzone.com forum, http://www.valleyfairzone.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=33 You DO NOT have to register to views these photos.[/b]
  14. This looks to be an awesome addition to the park. And I have to agree that it is great not to have another launched coaster at KD. I am also suprised that KD doesn't market itself as the park with the most launch coasters, not to off topic.
  15. Man, that is a sweet lookin coaster so far. These are my favorite colors on a Dive Machine so far. They work much better on this ride that X, IMO.
  16. There are sensors under the painted circles and yes, you can fail the chant and no fire or water or anything will come out. When it is not really busy, the ride-ops will put it in manual mode and they will press a button and the effects will work without the stomping.
  17. ^They are mine also, but I check ThrillNetwork for MOA pics and Coasterbuzz, but I usually save TPR for last because it has the best info and the fourms are so large that they actually change each day. Some of the other place's forums might have added 2 or 3 new posts each time I visit (which is usually once a day).
  18. It looked like you had a great time. How does SFOG compare with SFGAm, SFGAd, or SFMM. Great photos by the way.
  19. Vote Here: http://www.coasterdom.com/coaster-web-awards/2007-coaster-web-awards-voting/ TPR is up for: Best Overall Site Favorite Fourms Most Interactive Results will be announce on October 31, 2007
  20. The free parking is on all the passes, not just the Platinum Pass. *100th post*
  21. ^Makes you wonder if they have anything big planned for '08 if they are giving away free parking all of a sudden. If the jackets are really worth $40 (which I seriously dought) and the parking is worth $40 plus a $36.00 admission ticket plus the entire 2008 season seems like they are just giving money away.
  22. If you buy a 2008 season pass for Valleyfair, you can get you and a friend in free to the Halloween Haunt this year. On top of that, you also will get free parking with every season pass bought for absolutely nothing, and that is on top of the free jacket. Here is the release from the park:
  23. I heard about the fire a couple days ago, but I thought it was in the actual station and not on top of it (Where the old "Bruce Wanye Enterprises" or something was when it was still SF).
  24. They moved the Aliens and UFO from Wild Thing to Enterprise. BTW, do they still have the Geauga Lake animatronic Ogre by High Roller's enterance? I also have a teacher with a last name Moran.
