I remeber when Timberland Twister was annouced I started thinking that every year Valleyfair! gets a new roller coaster-That Camp Snoopy (when it was still called that? would get one the next year. It has happened again. 2003-Steel Venom- VF 2004-Timberland Twister-CS 2007-Renegade-VF 2008- Eruo-Fighter I aslo hopped that The Park would finally get a looping coaster. Minnesota has not seen one of these since 1980 with Corkscrew.

A little off topic abit but does any one know if Valleyfair is having coaster craze again this year? Renegade is coming up so fast and thestation is right next to the walkway to Excalibur and Raging Rapids. Can;t wait till may 12th

Renegade will be sweet but I heard from the same ride employee at High Roller that told me about Rengade about 2 weeks before it was announced that we will be getting another new coaster in 2008. Maybe a Floorless, Inverted, Flying, or an accelerator.

I heard it from a Ride Operator at High Roller and he said it was wooden for sure. It will mimic Thunderhead at Dollywood and will open in June not May next year. I already own my 2007 maxx season pass to Valleyfair

What is the difference between LIMs or LSMs? Sorry about all those evils. I think CP should get a LIM launched flying coaster from Intamin. It would be thoe first type as someone stated earlier that some dude said it would be something that has never be done.

one of the best airtime coasters is Wild Thing at Valleyfair. it was the first hyper coaster by Morgan Manufacturing. They also built Mamba at WoF and Stell Force at Dorney

I have not been to Cedar Point but I have been to its sister park Valleyfair in Minnesota. that is how CeDAR Fair got its name: part of Cedar Point and Part of Valleyfair. But my favorite coaster would probly be Millennium Force or Top Thrill Dragster. Valleyfair has a twisted impulse coaster, a two-hundred foot tall coaster named Wild Thing, Xtreme Swing which is just like skyhawk and the wave, a Snake river falls smaller type ride. VF also has a corkscrew coaster.

I have only been on one B&M Inverted (i know i am a freak) and i really loved it. it was THE FIRST ONE EVER and it was called Batman: The Ride and Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL. Hopefully Valleyfair gets one in '07

this ride will probly be a western type ride because i found this out on rcdb A teaser sign at the construction site reads "Ya'll up for some serious sidewindin'?" -- adding some creditability to the rumors that the new roller coaster will have a western theme and possibly be called Maverick. It could also have a cobra/boomerang because of the word 'sidewindin' or it could just be a half loop

We know for sure it is an intamin roller coaster. Some other websites say it is the second Aqua Trax coaster. To see the first Aqua Trax : http://www.rcdb.com/id1646.htm it is called Atlantis Adventure and is at Lotte World (Seoul, South Korea) I think the track is red

Any body have any pics of the new track at Cedar Point. I know it will be the 2nd Aqua Trax from Intamin. Please also tell me which coaster company you like better B&M OR INTAMIN

The last roller coaster I went on was Corkscrew at Valleyfair in Shakapee, Minnesota. note: this photo was taken in 1999. We have a an S&S Tower called Wild Thing and have Xtreme Swing which is just like Skyhawk at Cedar Point I was last there on June 2, 2006
