  1. Forum user "BGRooDoG" at Coasterbuzz, posted this photo of the CP front page this morning. It advertise Planet Snoopy and although it is go from the site now, at least the name is offical.
  2. 6/10 Don't know Disney very well.
  3. I thought Cedar Point was the Coaster Capital of the world. Maybe CP stole the slogan in the '90s.
  4. Sorry for the double post, but on the Spongebob webcam is the crane that helped lift the track pieces for Avatar, which might mean that vertical construction begings tonight.
  5. Looty, Timberland Twister went up in about a month as far as vertical construction goes. SSRBP is about the same length and only a little taller than TT, so by the end of January/early Feburary, I think that Spongebob will be ready to start basic testing.
  6. So it has an almost 90-degree drop but Griffon has a 90-degree drop and yet this is better than Griffon. You would think they would have built this one with a 90-degree or even a 91-degree drop to match or better the two US diving coasters if it really were 260 feet. But even that is questionable because I heard earlier that this was only 195 feet tall. What about Diving Machine G5? Maybe they mean the only good diving coaster in Asia, or the only 90-degree diving coaster in Asia.
  7. The Pepsi Ripsaw Roller Coaster sign has been taken down. So have the Spongebob Posters on the wall. I wonder when the Orange Steak sign will be up. BTW Looty, do you know when Ripsaw will get it's paint job? I imagine that they will close it soon after New Years when the crowds start to die down again.
  8. Valleyfair passes should work at KBF until March 31st 2008. KBF is the only park open during November-end of March, so I am assuming that is why the expiration date is the 31st.
  9. Valleyfair Public opinion: Wild Thing or possibly Renegade. My opinion: Renegade all the way!
  10. ^Spongebob construction should be starting next week depending on the arrival of track and support pieces.
  11. Just got back from the new movie and as I was watching, I was thinking that if the ride concept came true, it would be a lot like Indiana Jones ride, like I predicted in my first post. BTW, the movie was alright, but some scenes look a lot like the first movie.
  12. Looks like it is done, or almost done anyways. Looty said that they would begin Spongebob construction next week or the week after. Avatar still has about three weeks to go though due to LSM staters being aligned correctly.
  13. I think the right side is just about done. The red piece is at the top. http://wcco.com/video/?id=34600@wcco.dayport.com - video from the local news station.
  14. More work hasd happened over night. They have installed the first light blue piece of track and the big supports on either side.
  15. It could work, but I think that National Treasure is a little similar to Indiana Jones with the treasure part.
  16. I think they are talking about the Sandcastle renovations.
  17. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time. I don't like how the track and supports have the exact same shade of blue. Hopefully, Euro-fighter construction will begin before New Years Eve.
  18. Here is a saved Webcam photo so the picture doesn't change every ten minutes.
  19. Hopefully we may see some track set in place before Christmas. This is looking great so far.

  21. SF over Texas is getting Wild Wedgie. Great Escape is also getting Wild Weggie, but I don't know if it is a Boomaerango slide like this. Elitch Gardens has had one since '05.
  22. Thanks for the update Jahan. These are a great thing for me becuase I have always wanted to visit. I hope you will keep doing these until this forum has gone up in smoke. Thanks a lot.
  23. Here is a link to more photos taken by Allen at CoasterCravers. The track photos are almost the same as looty's, but Allen also has some inside the park shots as well. The Tree Swing has also reopened with it's not as impressive paint scheme. http://www.coastercravers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=23&p=1037#p1037
  24. Looty, are the track pieces in the IKEA parking lot or the lot by the main Mall of America sign? Or maybe somewhere else completly. I know TT's track was stored over at IKEA.
  25. It looks like the Tree Swing is just about done with it's paint job. This may be the last project they work on before the new rides because Looty said that track and supports will start coming in on Sunday. The Que Path for Avatar looks as though it is in an early stage of being built. I think it is that long path on concrete to the right of the hole.
