I have a pretty good sense of humor. I just felt was a little too early for this. My opinion though. -

Ignoring my point, and picking out a misspelling does nothing to support your case. Right, because it's easier to ignore statistics, and waste energy until something serious happens. How do you know i'm ignoring statistics and wasting energy. I just said I don't look for guidance from a bunch of kooks like WWF. Heck I drive a car that gets 44 mpg, to conserve energy. My house is insulated to the hilt TO SAVE ENERGY, and help the environment.! Believe me, I am very concerned about the environment. I just don't listen to WWF etc.... I actually do something about it. -

So you don't feel responsible for helping people in other countries? Basically, you just happened to be lucky enough to be born into a country that doesn't suck. It's not exactly like those people have a choice. Tens of thousands of people die everyday from diseases that are nothing to us, in fact, that don't even exist in a modern Western society (tuberculosis) or are somewhat manageable with modern drugs (AIDS). Honestly, if you somehow contracted TB, you'd just say, "Oh no, I have a bloody cough, go to the doctor, get some antibiotics, and be done with it." If you were born in say, Uganda and you got TB, you'd say, "I have a bloody cough, so not only am I going to die, but I'll probably infect most of my immediate family as well." Being born into a third world country should not be a death sentence. We should help others, and that's all it boils down to. 1. Where do you get off saying I don't feel responsible for others? 2. Yes I do know that I am lucky to have been born in the greatest country in the history of the world. 3. Through my church and our missions, I have helped others around the world. 4. My wife and I have financially adopted a child in South Africa whose' parents in fact died of TB. I did not have to be put on a guilt trip to do what I did, I did it out of my own heart. I am actually a pretty darn nice guy. Remember that TPR is basically a bulliten board on the internet. Eventhough we see pictures of each other having a great time at parks during the summer, most of us really don't know each other. What I am trying to say is take some time to get to know more about somebody before you take a shot at them. To me it all boils down to this. If you see that there is something wrong in the world, do something about it, but do it from your heart. Don't let somebody lay a trip on you to do something, because they want you to do what they want you to do. You'll either be miserable doing it, or you'll get taken. -

This is tasteless. No wonder I don't watch "South Park" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/showbiz/showbiznews.html?in_article_id=412911&in_page_id=1773 I guess some don't know where to draw the line. -

Those people around Bells where such twits. My soon to be neice has a house right by Bells ( I'll be crashing with my new favorite nephew and neice in law when the new coaster opens )and she has no problem with Bells new ride. Most of those people came long after Bells, and Zingo opened. -

Chili? I have seen bowls of chili get reduced to nothing when accompanied by a few beers. Seriously, Like I said, I am not going to get into a panic because of the rants of Greenpeace, WWF et al. -

Instead of going straight into the park, you make a left. From there you drive by the Rumbler and go down a hill. I'm sure the Magistrate that was out riding the Rumbler on media day is backing up the Jones on this. There are way too many people in Bowling Green on BB's side to let the place close. We have ways to make folks "happy" down here : pumps shotgun -

It's undeniable that the human population cannot grow indefinitely. The question is at what point do we reach the carrying capacity of the Earth. Technological advances would possibly augment this a bit, but there is still a breaking point. The WWF seems to think we're already over it. I agree there is a breaking point, I just don't put stock into scare tactics from outfits like WWF, Greenpeace, etc... Most everytime you hear about the world's problems, it's the US' fault. It isn't! I am not going to be put on a guilt trip because of problems in some third world dump! Like I originally said, I am still waiting for the big ice age to hit. -
Be careful about what you say. The next thing you know, we'll be signing a waiver holding the shoe company blameless for accidents while walking and running.

I'm still waiting for the big ice age that was predicted in the 1970s. Not to mention the population bomb predicted in the 1960s. I don't put any stock into this stuff. -

Elissa, your safe to ride coasters until your fourth month. Believe it or not, my wife had no signs with our first child. My oldest has pre birth credits on the Racer, Beast, and Vortex! Allow me to chime in with my congratulations to you and Robb! I wasn't telling my wife, or Elissa, it was safe to ride a coaster when 4 months pregnant. What I was saying was my wife and I had no idea we had a little one on the way. If we had known there was a child coming , there would be no way on God's green earth my wife would be on those rides. -
Congrats to Robb and Elissa

Spoken like a true non-parent, right? -
I think the 5th Dimension might take issue with that name. Did I just date myself or what?

The sad thing is because of all the coddling, so many of the kids have terrible manners. I can only imagine what it will be like when they try to join the workforce. I know I wouldn't hire them. Don't forget the self esteem police. The school shrink runs around saying that dodgeball can"stigmatize" litttle Johnny. In addition you have goofy schools that don't allow papers to be marked in red because red is such a negative color. PUH LEEEZE! Don't hurt Johnny's feelings. Let him think that Des Moines is the capitol of Hungary.

Has anybody else seen this? http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/10/18/no.tag.ap/index.html I can't believe this. I wonder why the kids are getting too fat? At least Disney is offering a low cal alternative for the kids. I know it only mentions tag in this article, but other articlels I have read today mention that schools are not allowing kids to get too physical during recess to avoid liability.

Disney Characters gone wild?

Last comment on this. It appeared on Drudge yesterday morning it was gone by late afternoon. If it had real legs it would have really blown up by now. There is going to be enough Korean Nukes action, and politics to bury this on page nineteen of your local paper. Not only that it'll be on page three of TPR by Sunday. Disney 1 CM Punks 0
