Watched Law Abiding Citizen for the first time just now. I thought it was decent, but I don't like the fact that they make you 'root for' Butler in the beginning, clearly making him a protagonist, but he's all of a sudden instantly switched to an antagonist about halfway through. Too many contradictions in the movie. Overall I give it a 6.5/10. Also watched Boondock Saints II today. A lot better, and way funnier than I thought...especially for a sequel. Romeo is hilarious, especially his 'tag-line' part. I give it a 9/10

This isn't anything new. I've been going to Cedar Point regularly since I was an infant, and there have been many foreign people working the rides, shops, restaurants, etc. for as long as I can remember.

I bought Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 the other day and really like them so far. Especially Killzone 2 on my new 5.1 surround sound. Also, I've been getting into Socom: Confrontation a bit more lately. Bought it when it came out, but only played it a few times back then.

I've only been on Manhattan Express and King Cobra at Kings Island (defunct). Honestly, it's been so long since I was on KC, I don't really remember the experience, but because of that I'm pretty pumped to ride Shockwave at KD when I go in about a week!

It says the 9th is cheerleading day. I know I was there once on that day a few years ago, but I really don't remember how the crowds were. I would assume that they aren't as bad as Fall Fantasy. If it were me going, I'd choose the 9th because I know how rough Fall Fantasy days can be, but here's the description on their website and you can be the judge: Source And go here for the list of events.

This isn't what you to want to hear, but I'm assuming you mean August 10th? If so, by looking at the events calender, expect above average to possibly fairly heavy crowds. The 10th is the first day of Fall Fantasy, where school districts come to the park all day and have a parade through the park at dusk. It's going to depend on what schools are there (the website doesn't say, but certain school districts equal heavy crowds, while others just equal above average), but it's still definitely going to be more than normal regardless. Also, you might get some relief later after they start leaving (meaning like after 8 or 9), but it's not guaranteed. On a positive side, Kennywood's rides/coasters still don't have terribly bad waits even with full queues, and there is always the VIP Coaster Tour if you need it. I know Sky Rocket's wait is only about 45-60 minutes with a full queue (depending on how fast the crew is), both Jack Rabbit and Racer aren't bad, and I'd suggest either riding Phantom first thing or waiting until 2 trains are on before riding, because with one train op even what may look like a small line could be 45 minutes. I'd also suggest riding Exterminator first thing immediately after Phantom if you get there when the park opens, as that is one queue that's not fun to wait in when full. Good luck.

Here's a little tip, if you feel yourself losing your sight due to the blood being drained from your head, immediately tighten your ab muscles as much as you comfortably can. If that doesn't work right away, try tightening the muscles in your arms and legs also. That should push some blood back to where it's supposed to be. As others have said, it's no big deal, but this could help return your sight faster than it coming back on its own.

^ Exactly, and if someone thinks the food isn't that great at TGI Friday's, then how is that Cedar Point's fault? It should be a matter taken up with *gasp* TGI Fridays! Not Cedar Point. ^^ That's very true, never really thought of it that way.

^^ Are you kidding me? I don't know what your definition of "broken down" is, but I go multiple times per year and everything is always running just fine. Sure rides sometimes have spurts of 15-45 minute downtime every once in a while, but what park doesn't have that? Regarding food, go to ANY major park in the country, Universal, Six Flags, PARC, Cedar Fair, etc., and I guarantee you'll see pretty uniformed overpricing across the board. The quality is exactly the same at most of, if not all Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks. If anything, the quality at Cedar Point is one of the best amongst the CF and SF group because it's a resort and has some sit-down restaurants on site. I see nothing wrong with the food there, it's on par with (if not greater than) every other Cedar Fair, PARC, and Six Flags park I have been to. I think your expectations need lowered a bit. If you have such expectations where you're expecting 5 star (even 3 star) food venues at these parks, then you're in the wrong place, buddy.

I'd say Waldameer. It has great variety, great atmosphere, and I really like the fact that both parking and admission are free.

I recently got into buying Power Rangers Megazords. They are actually worth a decent chunk of change, so a few years down the road I'll probably flip them for a nice profit.

Ravine Flyer II in the very back is pretty insane getting yanked over the top of the lift hill!

It's a shame because Sooperdooperlooper doesn't have them. Virtually the same coaster with a very similar layout, built only a year later, but has only lap bars.

Superman the Escape, Revolution, Colossus are all as bad if not worse, and I think Batman is the worst invert I have been on. Needless to say I don't agree with your statement. I've never ridden Iron Wolf, but I have to STRONGLY disagree about Mean Streak. It's mostly always been bad, but even in the past 5 years or so it has gotten CONSIDERABLY worse. Sure those three you mentioned at MM may not be the best coasters in the world, and might be their "worst," but I still remember all three as being really fun, and still miles upon miles (if not light years) better than Mean Streak.

^ & ^^^ A lot of people are going to say that about their home park because they have visited it so much. Being there only once, I think the quality of MM's coasters TRUMP any park's coaster collection around me, including Cedar Point (for the most part).

It's going to depend on the weather but either the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th. Ideally the 10th, but nothing is set in stone.

That's good to hear. I'll be there in about a week and a half and was just curious.

In my opinion, Kennywood's lines never get that bad where some sort of "skip the line pass" is needed, but that's just me. Even with a 100% completely full queue, Sky Rocket has only a 45-60 min wait...barring any problems. If you don't mind doing some searching, I believe someone posted a photo trip report not too long ago where they got one of those passes, perhaps that might help.

The ones I have ridden are Hydra, Dominator, Scream, Medusa (SFGAdv), and Shiekra (but that obviously doesn't count). I'd say my favorite is still Dominator, and I can't wait to ride it again after 3 years when I go to KD in about a week and a half!

^ I really like it too, but I think it needs more maps, and they should have made it take longer to unlock everything. I just beat both Mass Effect 2 and God of War III. Both INSANELY AWESOME games!

How have the two I305 trains been running? Are they running consistently well now, or is one/both still frequently having problems, causing them to take it off the track mid-day? Haven't heard anything recently.

It was like that back in June also. I wonder what their plans are for that train, but they probably don't need it anyway the majority of the time.

Awesome pics! I was there the same year and was fortunate enough to ride Laser before it was taken out. Great ride, sad to know it won't be there if I go back. I really like Dorney Park, though and hope to return someday. I think it's a very underrated park, and definitely overlooked because of SFGAdv so close by.
