  2. ^^^ Just be prepared for very sub-par features, other than performance. All of the Camaro's luster resides in its power and performance in being an American muscle car, but things like the interior are lacking a bit, being very generic with nothing special, and it's definitely a bit difficult to see out of the back.
  3. I'm glad I got to ride Jaws back in September. A great attraction that surely will be missed. My guesses are either The Lord of the R1ngs or Transformers.
  4. I love the intense jealousy from the Caps fans. Ovechkin is a sniper, that's all there really is to it. The Capitals change their style of play to one OPPOSITE Ovechkin's forte, and he has struggled ever since. I don't really think it's as much of other teams "catching on" as it is Boudreau trying to make him something he's not, nor ever will be. He is NOT a defensive-style player, and I don't know how long it's going to take BB to realize this and let him play like he used to. With that said, Crosby is a grinder, and the best grinder in the league. I love how he is "fragile," yet he is ALWAYS right there battling along the boards or in front of the net. Meanwhile you can always find Ovechkin in the same place all game...hanging near the blue line not doing any work while his teammates battle away. Give me a break. Honestly, the Penguins are really the least of the Caps worries right now anyway, because the Panthers are surging, and Tampa is Tampa.
  5. Crosby will make his return tomorrow against the Islanders.
  6. I wouldn't necessarily consider Mean Streak's an "upgrade," more like a regular necessity. It gets repaired/retracked as needed and/or every offseason. It isn't something they have only done "a few times."
  7. So. Many. Games. I'll have to ask for some of these for Christmas because the wallet just can't take it.
  8. You're 28 years old and know the difference between right and wrong. Some 11 year old un-monitored kid might not and that could insinuate some disturbing thoughts in his mind. Not to mention if a parent is watching him play (unaware of what the game entails) and sees that warning pop up. Trust me, I'm on the side of "bad parenting causes violence in kids, not video games," but I still wouldn't want my pre-teen kid shooting up an airport, and am glad they are considerate enough to put the warning into the game knowing there will be many adolescents playing it. Also, I realize they are just "textures and pixels," but this isn't your 1980s NES system anymore where the characters are composed of 5 pixels. Games now are more realistic than they have ever been, and will continue to improve. How long will it be until it is , instead of through a controller?
  9. I was bored so I watched Tron On-Demand. I have never seen the 1982 one, but this was better than I expected, and pretty good for being a Disney PG. 8/10
  10. Aww boo hoo. They can't beat the trap so they're going to sit back and cry about it.
  11. M-rated or not, slaughtering a bunch of innocent people in a crowded airport is still disturbing. I didn't play through the whole MW3 campaign yet, so I don't specifically know what this message is for, but it's understandable if there is a similar mission.
  12. I said I wasn't going to buy MW3, but I'll probably cave and go tonight at midnight to pick it up.
  13. Whenever I take long trips on interstates in my AWD Impreza (which averages about 20-25 MPG normally), my fuel economy rockets up to the mid-30s because of cruise control.
  14. I agree with you and deathbydinn as well. It's better to be proactive in the world of safety, rather than being reactive. You don't wait until there is some massacre at Cedar Point to finally wise up. It may be sad and it may not be what most people want to hear or go through, but let's face it, this is where our society is at right now. There are also other benefits to tightening up security, such as lowering insurance premiums, which could essentially pay for it over a period of time anyway.
  15. ^ I agree that the concept has barely changed, but like you said it's still fun, so I don't think they should try to fix something hat isn't broken. Would be neat if another Red Dead was in the works. I think it looks awesome...can't wait!
  16. I don't like the latest realignment proposal one bit. I don't understand why they have to make it so complicated, and can't just do something simple like a Winnipeg for Nashville/Colubmus/Detroit swap? http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_daddy/post/NHL-realignment-could-result-in-four-divisions-;_ylt=AnmeF8wZZUzZ3MRL4JFbIwl7vLYF?urn=nhl-wp16144
  17. Insane Flyers-Jets score! 9-8 Jets got the win! Glad to know Philly is also 0-1 against Winnipeg since their return.
  18. I don't think anyone is saying to boycott Cedar Point until they get a Fast Pass system. Just that it would be much easier to plan a trip for those who work 40-60 hours a week with no vacation time, and have only the weekends free (which is a good chunk of people, believe it or not). "Going on a less crowded day" simply isn't an option most of the time. Also keep in mind that Cedar Point is considered a "Resort Destination" where people from all over the world visit, and plan their trips MONTHS in advance without much regard to weather and crowds, and rather around their own schedule. It's no secret that Cedar Point has an abundant amount of rides and things to do, so if something such as inclement weather were to occur (as mentioned above), a Flash Pass system would make it a whole hell of a lot easier for them to do everything they want to, instead of going home feeling disappointed and/or unfulfilled.
  19. ^ Yeah, that's what was happening when I rode it also. At one point I thought we were going to duel, as the dispatch was extremely close, but my train slowed to a crawl on the lift as the other train continued normally. Mine didn't speed up to normal pace until the other was well beyond the lift. It was being used the entire time I was there mid-September.
  20. Its disappearance wasn't surprising though, as the system was greatly abused.
  21. There were a quite few they did it for. Mantis, Magnum, etc.
  22. I never said they wouldn't make the playoffs, just that they wouldn't compete the way they're used to (i.e. contend for the Presidents' Trophy). There are no "facts" to get straight. The Caps have never had that many injuries at once, so nobody knows how they would perform. However, I have a REALLY hard time believing they'd be even remotely close to the team they are now with three out of those four out for weeks to months (not one at a time in small spurts). The franchise rests on those core players.
  23. Why not? I'd be all for it. It's a pain having to plan a CP trip around work and crowds, and would be nice to not worry about that. If you don't like it then don't buy it.
  24. Good analysis, but I do have some comments. You're implying the Penguins don't have depth? If ANY three out of Ovechkin, Semin, Backstrom, or Green were to get hurt and be out for an extended period of time, the Caps wouldn't have a prayer at competing the way they're used to. It's also notable to add that there are more Penguins players with a goal (14) than there are Capitals players with a goal (13). Lastly, out of the Penguins' six wins, there were only two games where Neal had a goal that significantly mattered, and wasn't when the game was already out of reach or won. I agree with Kessel because he IS carrying the Leafs (there are only 7 other players with a goal), but Neal isn't even remotely close to carrying the Penguins...in fact I wouldn't say anyone is carrying the team. Right now the Penguins are the epitome of 'depth.'
