  1. One question: We are planing to attend Dollywood sometime this summer, and would LOVE to do this. My question is, can anyone sign up? I am not a member of ride world, neither is anyone who would be going. Can we still sign up? Night ERT on Thunderhead sounds amazing. I've ridden in the rain, which added so much to the disorienting-ness, and riding at night probably adds as much or more!
  2. Hey man, Speed is cool. It is actually a pretty fun ride.
  3. Ya, they had some really great rides.
  4. One time at wild adventures my brother and I went on the Fiesta Express. To prove the point that it was a kiddie ride, the op made us stand next to the height requirement sign. We were both atleast 2 ft taller than the requirement. I guess she thought it was funny.
  5. Um, I'm guessing they meant free fall, not acrophobia, one because free fall was just removed, two because they wouldn't take out Acro, because its only about 4 years old and still fairly popular, three because nothing could fit in that space anyway. AND I don't think Six Flags even has a liscence on Spiderman, except for game prizes.
  6. Haha when we were in charleston this weekend watching the Golf tournament we laughed how Barry wasn't even considered a storm, just a depression, then 2 minutes later a chair from our deck flew about 5 feet and hit our window, almost breaking it. We didn't make fun of Barry anymore. Also, Great photos, I always love seeing Disney world pictures, especially good thunder mountain. Glad Soren had a good time here in the US.
  7. I totally agree with you. Since Spider Man, nothing that I know of has even come close to as good as Spider Man in the simulator type of ride. This just shows how much detail and money Universal puts into their attractions, so no matter what happens, you know it will be done the right way.
  8. movie ticket(matinee)-$6.25
  9. Naw do Maverick........I did the Voyage last year.......way,way over rated.......first half is good........second half way too rough.......and I mean nasty rough as in ......I've just been beaten to death by my train.......oh well some people love pain not me. Voyage is the right choice man. Don't listen to this guy, it isn't rough at all.
  10. It was smooth as glass when I rode it in the summer of 2005. I rode it in the second row, and it was the smoothest woodie I have ever been on.

  12. Oh there was a scene after the credits? Great I missed it what did it show?
  13. Again, Like Erik said, last car first seat. That CANNOT be stressed enough. If you ride in this row, you will get amazing ejector airtime, and its actually surprisingly smoother than anywhere else on the train.
  14. Mind Bender at SFOG. Not a bad one to finish off the day with if you ask me.
  15. Gold Q-Bot it. There is no other choice at all. Saturdays in the middle of summer get pretty much as full as you can possibly imagine. I would get there early, because I think gold q-bots sell pretty fast, especially on a Saturday.
  16. Oh, I had not realized that your kids had been to HW, so I will change my opinion and say SFOG.
  17. I am a SFOG local, and as much as it hurts me to say this, I have to go with holiday world. I absolutly love SFOG, but Holiday World in my oppinion is a much more fun park. If you are into woodies, then I say definatly Holiday World, but if you are more into steel, then mabey SFOG is the way to go.
  18. Here are my favorites in order. These are all B&Ms 1.Georgia Scorcher-SFOG 2.Riddlers Revenge-SFMM 3.Mantis-CP 4.Vortex-Carowinds 5.Iron Wolf-SFGAm If I am not mistaken, that is also in order built. Coincidence, I think not.
  19. I hate that park so much, but since I missed two credits and I am a credit whore, I will probobly be back.
  20. wow. That has to be one of the worst scenarios possible on any amusement park ride. Being stuck on a ride while it is ablaze and not being able to stop it quickly enough must have been the most terrifying experience of all time for those people.
  21. YES!!! good call! I LOVE that ride. BEST MINE TRAIN EVER!! I second Thunder Run. The thing is amazing in the back! great air! All Schwartzkopf shuttle loops. I love those things. They are almost NEVER mentioned. EDIT: Georgia Cyclone too! I agree with all of those, except for adventure express, because I have not been on it. I especially agree with Schwartzkopf shuttle loopers. I have only been on one, but it was really fun.
