The only ones that I can think of that have had problems are SkyChicken at Cedar Point and the one at Thorpe Park. The rest of them seem to run great. Also, aside from the issues with SkyHawk when it first opened and the cable snap issue, it seems to run fine. It was also closed for just about all of 2013. -

Let's see, constant closures for weeks / months at a time. The ride was closed for the vast majority of the 2013 season, last year it was closed for a few weeks with a crane working on the support structure between the arms (though last year was overall pretty decent) and then of course the accident in 2014. It's a very unreliable ride. It's a great ride but it's hard to deny that it has a ton of issues. And let's not forget this close call at Thorpe Park. I don't see many people buying them going forward. -

If you think Cedar Fair is buying another one of those after the absurd amount of problems Skyhawk has then you're nuts... especially since those problems have included some pretty serious injuries. I don't pretend to know what Cedar Fair has planned for the future but I highly doubt they ever buy another Screaming Swing. -

Thrilled to hear about the Top Scan but the Troika (Troika Troika) is great news too! -

I just wish the final brake run wasn't followed by a station like on every other B&M coaster. I'd much rather they have a launch or an inversion with a slow heartline roll and a bunch of inversions and airtime hills. Some fire and explosions would be cool too. -

It won't impact the ride experience at all... I totally get that, but god that's one ugly, stupid looking brake run. Why the dumb jump after a ton of trims for absolutely no reason? It's killing my OCD. Leviathan's reign of dumbest looking brake run ever has come to an end. -

A good one?? Eh, I don't think I'd go that far... Remember it really isn't all that steep. I'm sure it'll feel steep when you're on it but whatever, sorry to interrupt the complaining. -

^^Yeah I agree, the coaster needs to drop or launch after the mid course since it needs the momentum to return to the station even if it needs to stop completely in the midcourse. Might as well go with another steep one, the only other options would be a launch which is ridiculous, a slow, boring and uninspired downward helix or a drop. Might as well make it a good one... -
Coasters at Sunset

That sunset is so damn majestic that the sheer beauty of it brought a single tear to me eye. -
Just a heads up, hotels near Knoebels are limited but they have a campground if you're into that. If you're like me and you'd rather die than go camping then I suggest (get ready for this) the Super 8 in Danville. I know, I know but trust me on this. This Hotel should never be a Super 8. If I were them I'd lose the Super 8 name as fast as humanly possible. It looks more like a Courtyard Marriot than a Super 8. Why they would ever want to carry the Super 8 name I have no idea. Don't get me wrong, I'm not above a Super 8 but this is the only one I'd actually recommend to someone.

I just want to point out again that I think people are seriously underrating how good giant frisbees actually are. I'd rather have one of them than a good deal of coasters and I'm sure it'll be better than a good chunk of the coasters currently operating at KD. -

I don't think I've ever seen someone come off of I305 with a lackluster reaction. I however have seen a grown man say "hell no" to riding it many times within my one wait for Anaconda. Sure enough he did not ride it, Even when offered money. It's a 300 foot tall roller coaster. That's to be expected. -

I personally never had an issue with any of those "hard restraints" on any Intamin coaster, Storm Runner, Maverick, Farenheit, Kingda Ka... all fine. The new ones are great too but I don't care either way. I have no complaints. -

No idea, but even if it is it's possible that Leviathan's final brake run will still be higher. (I'm actually serious) -

Mean Streak blows everything else in that park away aesthetically. Hi haters, how are you on this fine February morning? -

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't attendance only go up about 1% the year Banshee opened? Other parks generally get higher bumps than that when they add a new coaster (if memory serves me right Gatekeepr helped Cedar Point to a 5% jump. Because of that I wonder how eager they would be to drop 30 or so million on a giga for Ki. I'm not saying they won't (I'm no expert) but it would be interesting to see how that impacts their decision making. I'm just going off of memory with these figures by the way, I'm prepared to be wrong. -

Raptor, the lightsaber is amazing but those orange lights along the course have to go. If they replaced them with the same lights Gatekeeper had that midway would look insane at night. -
