Looks like winds were so strong yesterday they valleyed Pandemonium with riders. Pretty impressive for an otherwise hot summer day. No but you usually get row one with a Flash Pass... plus you can always ask. Goliath ops do let you wait for the front sometimes. It depends on the crew.

You should call the park and let them know. I'm sure they've never considered the economic feasibility or potential return on investment of whatever they plan to do with Hurler.

I swear I'm going to throw a temper tantrum. I think VR will be great for this ride. Barely attracts lines, and with the VR it could potentially be pretty good. Not sure what you're on about... Iron Dragon is one of the most popular rides in the park and routinely does over a million guests per season. Lines aren't long because the queue is tiny and when people see the line spilling out the entrance of a ride they perceive it as a long line even though that's not always the case. These numbers are from the last time Cedar Point put out their ridership totals. Capacity plays a major role but the ride did more riders than Dragster and almost as many as Maverick. Like I said, capacity matters but they still fill trains and fill their queue despite the excellent capacity of the ride. Iron Dragon does not have a popularity problem.

The new trains beat the hell out of most riders when not in the first row. It's still a good ride up there but you can't choose your seat. With the old train it was my favorite ride in the park (pre wicked Cyclone), not its the worst besides Mind Eraser.

So we stayed open to close and got on 5 rides. Lol Joker: 2 1/2 hours Flume: 1 hour Safari: 1 1/2 hours El Toro: 1 hour Kingda Ka (front row): 2 hours After they closed they had pass holder ERT so we rode Superman twice in the front since the parking lot wasn't moving anyway. 10 minute wait both times. It was insane but it was still a fun day.

Cedar Point, Great Adventure, Carowinds and now Kings Dominion... electricity and theme parks don't mix this week.

The two parks aren't even on the same continent and you haven't ridden either of them yet to compare them. Let's calm down. That being said, based on the POV this looks amazing, and as awesome as the ride experience seems like it'll be the ride is also one of the most visually stunning rides I've ever seen. It's great to see RMC keep pushing the limits like this.

While thankfully I've never worked in the tourism / service industry, it always amazes me how the vast majority of those people can put on a patient, happy front while dealing with some of the dumbest people planet earth has to offer. I'm glad you're having fun though despite being surrounded by pure idiocy.

If Vortex at KI got these I'd be thrilled. Same goes for Corkscrew at Cedar Point.

Yeah, keep in mind that since they need daylight for the Safari, they close the line whenever they need to to ensure that everyone will be off before it gets dark.

Okay, here we go. A few words of caution... 1- Log Flumes will be ranked unreasonably high. Beating rides they have no business beating because I love log flumes. This will include Splash Mountain at WDW which isn't a log flume no matter how bad it tries to look like one. 2 - I'm not sure if we're counting boat rides that don't get you wet like Pirates, but I'm not. 3 - I did count one defunct ride. White Water Landing at Cedar Point. 4 - I didn't include rapids rides because they all suck 5 - I tried to do a top 10 but it turned into a top 15, the more log flumes the better Okay, here goes... 1) Shenandoah Lumber Company <3 (Kings Dominion) 2) Giant Flume (Knoebels) 3) Thunder Creek Mountain (Dorney) 4) White Water Landing (Cedar Point) 5) Splash Mountain (Magic Kingdom... I think it's kind of stupid that any time you get really wet on this it's because of a fake splash and not one actually made by your boat) 6) Jurassic Park River Adventure (IOA) 7) Escape from Pompeii (BGW... I haven't ridden Le Scoot yet ) 8) Journey to Atlantis (Sea World) 9) Coal Cracker (Hersheypark... BOUNCY!) 10) La Pitoune (this is actually the best ride at La Ronde...lol) 11) Dudley Do Right Ripsaw Falls (IOA - this is ranked so low only because you get incredibly wet on it which is stupid for a Log Flume) 12) Desperado Plunge (this is probably the best ride at The Great Escape...lol) 13) Thunder River (Waldameer Park... this is a log flume. Don't let the name let you think I let some dumb rapids ride on the list) 14) Policy Pond (Canobie Lake Park... Great Flume, stupid name... without question the best ride at Canobie Lake Park) 15) SKLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH (Knoebels - I have never and will never ride this because these types of rides are stupid. It's on the list simply because of it's name. Extra O's added for emphasis). The actual answer to #15 is probably either Race for Your Life Charlie Brown at KI (suck it GCI) or Stanley Falls at BGT.

You seriously won't need it at all either day. Mid-week the major coasters will probably all have 5 minute waits. Spend the money you were going to spend on that on beer or something. Lol
