The article link above mentioned bigger waterpark and even an indoor waterpark. Just another step in making the Dollywood Resort a year-round destination!

I never get emotional over things like this, but Great America is my childhood park. Riding Flight Desk (Top Gun at the time) is what turned me into an enthusiast. I will miss this park immensely On a scarier note, I can envision a future where Knotts, Universal and Disney are the few players left in this state. Real Estate land is at such a premium here.

Grizzly is getting scrapped, but I want it to go to Dorney because I'm an asshole like that.

I guess we know when MiA, WoF, and Dorney are getting their next coasters...LOL but not really. This is kinda sad, but they are a business first and foremost. Guess I know where my first trip in 2023 will be. My speculation on the destination for their coasters and major rides, based solely on what I think they need, not any actual land-use planning: -Berserker (Schwarzkopf Bayern Kurve) - Dorney Park, please please pretty please? -Delta Flyer (Von Roll sky ride) - Sent to CP for spare parts -Demon - Scrapped -Drop Tower - Do any of their parks not have a drop tower? MiA? -Flight Deck - Kings Dominion -Gold Striker - WoF -Orbit (Schwarzkopf Enterprise) - Kings Dominion, please please pretty please? -Patriot - MiA -Psycho Mouse (Arrow wild mouse)- Scrapped -RailBlazer - KBF or Dorney Park -Star Tower - Scrapped -Grizzly - Scrapped -Either of the kiddie coasters - Kings Island or Dorney Park

First time at the park this year. I was worried the improvements that had been touted would be all talk, but I was blown away by the improved operations. Operators consistently rolling trains and counting down to encourage people to get seated is a major improvement. Park seemed alot cleaner too, and while we didn't order food, the lines didn't seem to be very long. Almost everything was open, minus DDD & Sky Screamer and some others. Crowds were about medium and we probably waited about 40 mins tops for any ride. I can firmly say that Mind Bender is back in business, the trims barley grabbed us before the last loop and I didn't feel any hang time. In about 5 hours our group of 4 has ridden pretty much everything. Great day overall.

Lake Mead is low bc theyre forced to send water downstream by the Feds. I dont even need google to know that.

Because you don't earn yourself a black belt by being lazy and doing the bare minimum. Being the black belt of coasters is hard work that requires constant focus, hard work, discipline, maximum efficiency and effort at all times. It is a cause, a cross to bear, a responsibility, and an obligation. The black belt of coasters title is a banner that advertises that the wearer is committed to serving the needs of others. One day you'll understand, grasshopper...

Well this is very bad news for someone who lives in the area like me. I'm hoping that the park can remain open but given how valuable the land is, it's hard for Cedar Fair to not sell it. In case CGA goes, then I'd like to say thank you Great America for making me introducing and getting me into roller coasters and for all the great memories I made there.
