  1. At least there's no food or shopping to worry about once you've paid your $90!

  2. I rode that one in both the day and night back in 2017 and I actually preferred it during the day so you could see the near-misses better, especially the one where you're above a water slide that's actively in use.

  3. Wow, that is outrageous. Our potential travel plans for this summer include flying into Newark. We are considering spending a few hours here if the flight time allows. But for $90... yikes. That backwards launch on Sandy better be worth it.

  4. I'm here now and the crane is still up and they are working on the retrack. There are large sections of missing topper track that have been removed. Maybe they will get it done in time for the spring opening.

  5. I'm waiting for someone to say they don't have a hotel, because Cedar Fair doesn't want Kings Island to compete with Cedar Fair.

  6. In regards to the Oziris thing, when we rode Oziris we were expecting it to be a really weak invert after the reviews on here but it was actually really good so maybe it’s running better in general or we just caught it on a good day. The first drop is excellent, nothing else was super forceful but it wasn’t weak either. The theming elements and tunnel bumped it up a bit for me. It’s not a top-tier invert but for me it’s easily better than something like Talon, Great Bear, Ice Dragon post-dueling or Silver Bullet. I’d call it average. I have no clue how this thing will ride but every single B&M invert is good so no matter what, it’s a win.

  7. Well........crap. Yesterday, just after 5:30 pm, we arrived at the entry area to go through, and on to the displays. And we're met by several guys who all look like they're policemen. One of them comes up to our window. David starts showing the ticket, and more or less he tells us "it's cancelled." David asks why, and we get a not very happy answer.... something to do with our Provincial Health Official making the call to not open Winter Nights up. And he didn't want to tell us anything more. And wanted us to move on, "that way towards Hastings St." What a bummer. He didn't exactly give us any info. on where or how to get a refund. And there's nothing on the PNE site (last time I checked), that indicates what happened yesterday. So Monday, I guess it's a email directly to the PNE asking what happened, and do we get our money back? Ho ho f-ing ho. Happy EDIT to Add: Just called TicketLeader (who sells tix to PNE's events) and they are refunding my credit card for the ticket. And yes, they were very unhappy about having to cancel yesterday. But only one day. So it'll still be happening, starting today and through to Dec.30th. Jolly jolly. p.s. Yesterday was the only day we could do this. Unfortunately. Hopefully, maybe, they'll do it all again, next year!
